“A memory that really stands out to me, and has been bringing me a lot joy during this difficult time, is from a wonderful week that my family and I spent in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park this past Fall. Never had we seen such variety and expansiveness of colors. One of my favorite moments of the trip was witnessing (and photographing) this incredible sunrise at the Oconaluftee Valley Overlook. We had already been impressed by the mountains upon mountains of Fall colors, but this sunrise was the icing on the cake. There was a lot of cloud cover that morning, and I wasn’t sure what the sky was going to do, but then suddenly it started to fill with the rich yellows, purples, and pinks of pre-dawn, and then finally the sun peaked out from behind the clouds ever so briefly, creating this mesmerizing scene. One of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen…” Thank you for sharing your #CanonMemories with us, @ninamayerritchie.
