I found this wedding dress at a local thrift shop, I loved the lace skirt but the bodice of the dress was awful. I cut the lace skirt from the bodice and then let it soak in a large bucket of coffee for nearly 3 days. I hand painted the background the exact color I wanted to match the tones of the skirt. Then I stained the wood chair that Shelby is standing on. The top of her dress was part of her princess Halloween costume. The color of her dress was not quite the tone I wanted and I simply adjusted it in post processing. There is something really beautiful and satisfying about creating an image and controlling every detail from capture to post processing. I used one strobe light camera left.” Camera: #Canon EOS 5D Mark IV
