Check out what’s in #CanonExplorerOfLight @onnevanderwal’s gear bag! | ”This is my typical set up for a commercial or editorial assignment where I need to travel by plane, train or automobile. Everything except the tripod and the waterproof housing fit in to a roller bag that is carried onboard and stowed in the overhead bin on the plane. The Aquatech waterproof housing and a tripod are stowed in a checked 85L waterproof roller bag with my clothes, chargers and other gear. I have two camera systems in my bag as I am in the middle of switching over from my Canon DSLR system to Canon’s mirrorless R system. A Canon EOS 5D Mark IV body with booster is used on the Canon EF 200-400 1.4x F4 IS L lens. Then I have two Canon EOS R mirrorless cameras that are used with the 3 new RF lenses; RF 15-35 F2.8 IS L, RF 24-70 F2.8 IS L and the RF 70-200 F2.8 IS L lenses. So while shooting from a helicopter or chase boat I can have the 24-70 on body #1, the 70-200 on body #2 and the 200-400 1.4X on body # 3, the 5D giving me a fabulous range of 24-560 (1.4x engaged on the 200-400 1.4 lens) over the three camera bodies and no lens changing is needed. Having 3 bodies is crucial while out on the water to keep things dry and not missing a beat in the action, you are always ready to go!”
Ciao, Nihon.
