“My father retired last year and wanted to get out of the town he had spent the last 40 years of his life working in. So I drove from San Francisco to Missouri over the holidays and convinced him he should road trip back with Laars (my pup) and I. My father is who originally piqued my interest in photography and for Father’s Day a few years back I bought him a used Canon EOS 5D Mark III. So armed with our cameras we started across the country with one stipulation, if we see anything at all we wanted to explore and photograph, we stop. This picture is of my dog Laars on a random side road we found while driving through the mountains of Colorado.” #MyCanonStory
