New estimates show that almost 1 billion animals have died in the fires by now. Roughly 40% of the whole koala population in New South Wales have died. Our thoughts are with people affected by the bushfires. 😓
A thought: The situation is absolutely terrible, but around 72 billion animals have been killed for food consumption last year. Most of the animals didn’t have a nice life and I wish at least 1% of the sympathy shown to the Australian animals would be shown to those.
