Our journey begins in Phnom Penh where we learn about one of the darkest chapters in Cambodia’s history during the Khmer Rouge regime. We visit the haunting Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum, also known as S21 Prison, where thousands of people were held during the Cambodian genocide. We also travel to the Choeung Ek Killing Fields, a memorial site that helps preserve the memory of the victims and educate visitors about the tragic events that occurred here.
From Phnom Penh we continue north to Siem Reap, the gateway to the legendary Angkor Archaeological Park — one of the most important archaeological sites in Southeast Asia and the heart of the ancient Khmer Empire.
Inside the Angkor complex we explore some of the most breathtaking temples ever built, including the world-famous Angkor Wat, the largest religious monument on Earth. We also visit the atmospheric jungle temple of Ta Prohm, where massive tree roots weave through ancient stone ruins.
