It snows here from around October to April ❄ (Powder snow season is December to March)
Amazing sights – beautiful. So glad that it was the French guys doing the filming. When you said that you were beginners and before you told us that the guys were filming FOR you, I was super-concerned for you. That is NOT "beginner" terrain OR conditions!

Uh, I live in northern Wisconsin USA, and grew up in Wyoming on the east slope of the Rocky Mountains… I would not have liked that drive one bit. But the place you stayed is very beautiful. I wonder what it looks like in spring or fall.
