About Delhi’s Khan Market:
Delhi’s Khan Market is widely regarded as one of the most upscale shopping and dining destinations in India. Established in 1951 and named after freedom fighter Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan, it was originally built to accommodate refugees from the North-West Frontier Province following Partition. Over time, it has transformed into a premium commercial hub, blending history with modern luxury.
Unlike Delhi’s chaotic bazaars, Khan Market offers a clean, organized, and walkable layout. Its compact design makes it easy to explore, with rows of stylish boutiques, bookstores, pharmacies, and specialty shops lining both sides of the street. International brands sit alongside long-standing local businesses, giving the market a unique mix of global and Indian character.
Food is a major highlight here. From upscale restaurants and rooftop cafés to famous casual spots like Khan Chacha, the area is known for quality and variety. Whether you’re looking for a quick snack, artisanal coffee, or a full-course meal, there’s no shortage of options. However, this comes at a price—Khan Market is consistently ranked among the most expensive retail locations in India.
The market attracts diplomats, expats, and affluent locals, creating a relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere. In the evening, it becomes even more vibrant, with people gathering to dine, shop, and socialize. For visitors, Khan Market offers a different side of Delhi—modern, polished, and distinctly upscale.

  1. Respect for no clickbait where people go to shitty areas and spend 10 dollar on random street food. $100 goes a long way in india specially if you're alone since most indian food is very filling

  2. Heyy, you should have tried pasta and other italian food at the Big Chill Cafe! I know the name is cafe but it has amazing pastas! One of the best in delhi! Next time hopefully! 🙂

  3. Yes pretty much possible. In 100 dollars you can have pretty decent meals in 24 hours period. That's about 9200 rs (ignore the fluctuations) and that good enough amount to have very decent meals for a day except that you don't go to some hifi hotels for having your food.

  4. Man, that Big Chill Cafe is where I broke up with the love of my life 😭💔
It was our favourite Delhi chain!

  5. If you're still in Delhi & want some recommendations… you could try exploring Lodhi Garden & Sunder Nursery.. both are very nice & large parks with old monuments all across the park. You could also visit Kwality (Connaught Place) or Havemore or Gulati restaurants (both in Pandara road market) for very delicious foods… you could also visit Hauz Khas village & Fort area.. it's a beautiful old fort surrounded by modern "urban village" that has nice boutique stores, cafes etc. if you want to try some really fancy 5-star Indian cuisine, you could visit Bukhara or Dum Pukht (both at ITC) or Indian Accent (Lodhi Road, near Lodhi Garden).. although these would cost a bomb (relatively speaking). If you wanna visit Gurgaon(Gurugram).. you could visit Cyber Hub or Horizon One center.. there is also a "Leopard Trail" in Gurgaon, (you won't encounter any Leopards though lol) #ps— if you want to really taste the kind of cocktails available in Delhi.. you could visit SideCar (Greakter Kailash-2), Somewhere Nowhere (also Greakter Kailash but it's a speakeasy and not found on Google Maps #lol), Lair & Red (both in Vasant Vihar), PCO (Vasant Vihar)

  6. Thums Up was originally launched in 1977 by the Parle Group (specifically by Ramesh Chauhan and his brothers). It was created to fill the void in the Indian market after Coca-Cola Company withdrew from India. In 1993, Parle sold the brand to the Coca-Cola Company after they re-entered the Indian market. Despite early attempts by Coca-Cola to phase it out, Thums Up survived to become one of India's top-selling cola brands and a billion-dollar brand.

  7. Honestly, this is the kind of content people should be making about India. You didn’t come here to chase cheap views or show poverty for clicks, you actually explored the real culture, places, and vibe of the country. That’s rare.

Respect for showing India the way it actually is, not the stereotype version most vloggers push.

Keep doing this kind of work. And yeah, you’re always welcome here again — there’s still a lot more to explore beyond what you’ve seen 🔥

  11. Tread carefully bro, it is easy to get fat in INDIA. The food is just too good and you are not only in the national capital but also the food capital of INDIA.

  12. Nice try. The ambience around Khan market looks bad.. u could blow the 100 on a meal at a good restaurant in a 5 star hotel
