🏝️ EL NIDO TOUR A VS C: THE BIG DEBATE
If you only have time for one “big” tour, this is the ultimate showdown:

Tour A: The icon. Home to Big Lagoon and Secret Lagoon. It has the most dramatic karst scenery, but it’s the most popular tour, which means it gets incredibly crowded.

Tour C: The cinematic choice. Home to Hidden Beach and Helicopter Island. It features some of the bluest water in the world, but it’s the most expensive and prone to weather changes.

THE VERDICT: While everyone fights over A vs C, there is a real Hidden Gem most people overlook—one that offers the best views in the archipelago with 80% fewer people. Stick around for that reveal!

💸 UPDATED EL NIDO 2026 PRICES & HIDDEN FEES:
Don’t get caught off guard by the new “Lagoon Fees” and extra costs:

Standard Tour Rates: ₱1,200 – ₱1,400 per person.

Eco-Tourism Fee (ETDF): ₱400 (Valid for 5 days—keep your receipt!).

Lagoon Entry Fees: ₱200 extra for Big/Small Lagoon.

Kayak Rentals: ₱300 per kayak (Mandatory if you want to enter the lagoons).

Motorbike Rental: ₱500/day for exploring Nacpan and Duli Beach.

🎒 TRAVEL TIPS FOR PALAWAN 2026:

Logistics: Expect a 6-hour van ride from Puerto Princesa to El Nido (approx. 700 PHP).

Gear: Water shoes are a must for the sharp limestone at Hidden Beach and lagoons (Rent for 100 PHP).

Crowd Hack: Tour B and Tour D are significantly quieter and offer a “private tour” feel for the same price as the crowded spots!

Cash is King: Most boat captains and small beach shacks still do not take cards. Bring plenty of Pesos!
