Goodness GRACIOUS what a trip! I don’t normally attempt roadtrips in Japan during winter cuz of the driving difficulty, and the fact that I hate the cold but this trip might’ve just changed all of that! Yamagata, Miyagi and little bit of Tochigi is all you need in winter for some life changing scenery apparently! Excited for the next season 🌸

    That tree with the mirrors wouldn't last a week in my country they would get smashed pretty much right away… Must be nice in Japan 😅

    Went to Zao in summer, I was the only one in the ropeway. I wondered how it could be profitable to have it open. Now I know how. Beautiful!

    Pretty cool places , but the crowds are insane . Much appreciate you sharing so that we can virtually experience what you captured.
    Better safe than sorry on the snow tires. Hopefully , you can make some use out of them this season .
