Japan’s Fox Shrine 🦊 A Shrine Filled with 1000 Fox Statues – Toyokawa Inari Walk • 4K HDR
Experience a peaceful walk through one of the most unique areas of Toyokawa Inari, one of Japan’s most famous Inari temples.
This walking tour begins along a path lined with red and white temple flags before arriving at Reikozuka (霊狐塚) — the Sacred Fox Mound filled with hundreds of stone fox statues. These foxes, known as kitsune, are believed to be the messengers of Inari, the deity associated with prosperity, agriculture, and business success.
After exploring the fox mound, the walk continues through a series of red torii gates and along a quiet forest path within the temple grounds.
This video focuses on the Reikozuka Sacred Fox Mound, one of the most atmospheric areas of the temple.
