The Harumeki Sakura, my favourite variety of cherry blossom, is in full bloom!

Today, I came to Minamiashigara City, Kanagawa Prefecture, to see the Harumeki cherry blossoms.
The Harumeki(Springtime) cherry blossom is a variety that originated in Minamiashigara City.
It blooms after the Kawazu cherry blossoms have fallen and before the Somei Yoshino cherry blossoms bloom.
It is characterized by its sweet fragrance, and every year, Harumeki cherry blossom saplings are donated to schools for the blind throughout Japan.

    Hi Ichiro some stunningly beautiful cherry blossom ,i liked the Harumeki cherry blossom and the sound of flowing water.
    I will have probably used some Fujifilm in my cameras over the years it was nice to know where it all began 92 years ago, and the view of mount Fuji on your return journey looked beautiful ,i love your countryside, and i could not imagine a company as big as Fujifilm in the U K giving the general pubic FREE PARKING a lovely gesture of giving some thing back i think .     Harumeki sakura é simplesmente linda. Fiquei encantada com as flores em cachos, que dão volume e tornam a paisagem mais deslumbrante.
