道民の人ですらその名前を知っている人は少ないかも。
というのもアクセスが非常に困難で、行く人がほぼいないため。
この岬は、岬の付け根をトンネルが貫いているため、車で走っていると存在に気づかないのです。
地図を見ても岬に至る道路はなく、トンネル入り口付近から海岸線を歩いていくしか辿り着けません。
海岸は大きな石や岩場がゴロゴロと転がる難所で、まるでアスレチックのよう。足首に注意しながら、入念なストレッチをしてから挑むのがおすすめです。
また、ヒグマに遭遇するリスクもあるため、サバイバルの準備をしていくと良いでしょう。海辺特有の高い湿度でムシムシする中を進む、まさに挑戦の道のりです。
しかし、その先に待っていたのは息をのむような絶景でした。水は透き通るほど美しく、まさに「神の領域」と呼ぶにふさわしい神聖な場所。前回訪れた際は荒々しい表情を見せてくれた尾花岬ですが、今回は穏やかで、まるで優しい懐かしさを感じるようでした。
