【Futaba】Walking Through Futaba Town 2025 | Former Fukushima Evacuation Zone Today【4K】
This video is a walking tour around Futaba Town in Fukushima, Japan (2025).
Futaba is known as the town where the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant is located.
After the nuclear disaster in 2011, the entire town became part of the evacuation zone, and residents were forced to leave for many years.
In recent years, evacuation orders have gradually been lifted and redevelopment has started around Futaba Station and the town center.
In this video, I walk through Futaba Station and the surrounding town in 2025 to document the current situation.
I have been walking and filming this area every year since 2022, so viewers can see how the town is gradually changing over time.
Some buildings have been demolished, while new facilities and infrastructure are being developed as part of the recovery process.
This video records the quiet atmosphere of Futaba and the ongoing recovery of Fukushima.
