【Yonomori】Walking Through an Abandoned Fukushima Town 2025【4K】

This video is a walking tour around Yonomori Station and the famous cherry blossom street in Fukushima, Japan (2025).

Yonomori is located between Tomioka Town and Okuma Town in Fukushima Prefecture.
The area was once known for its beautiful cherry blossom avenue.

After the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster, the town became part of the evacuation zone and remained uninhabited for many years.

In this video, I walk through Yonomori Station, the cherry blossom street, and residential areas that were once within the restricted zone.

Around the station, many buildings have recently been demolished, and the area looks much more open compared to previous years.

I visit and walk through this area every year to document the changes and record the current state of the town.

This video captures the quiet atmosphere of Yonomori and shows part of the ongoing recovery in Fukushima.
