Today I visited Kawazu Town, the birthplace of Kawazu cherry blossoms, the early-blooming cherry blossoms.
As it was a weekday before a three-day weekend, there were no traffic jams or crowds, and I was able to enjoy the Kawazu cherry blossoms in full bloom.

    At Kawazu Kinomiya Shrine, I bade Farewell to the magnificent " camphor" TREE — The Tree of Life — hoping I will see it again , ( as you have seen that "old, but vibrant" Kawazu cherry tree which was planted from seedling back in 1955.
