We Didn’t Expect This in East Iceland 🇮🇸
Hello everyone! 🇮🇸
This is part three of our Iceland journey!! 🚐
In this road trip vlog, we explore the wild landscapes of East and North-East Iceland. We make our slowly into the less-explored Northern Iceland: and it’s safe to say the scenery really surprised us. We started in Höfn and visited the Vestrahorn mountain, but weather had a different plan for us, so we had to mix-up our itinerary a bit. ☔️
After getting absolutely soaked by rain, we had a long drive to our cozy campsite. We continued the next day through waterfalls like Hengifoss and Rjúkandi, and discovered the stunning basalt columns of Stuðlagil Canyon. We finished day 6 at the Lake Mývatn Area. 🏔️
This part of Iceland is raw, quiet and perfect if you’re looking to go beyond the Golden Circle
