Hidden Gem Ski Resort! Enjoy Authentic Japow! Sahoro Resort Ski Area | Tokachi, Hokkaido

A quiet and underrated ski resort in the Tokachi area of Hokkaido!
I spent two days riding at Sahoro Ski Resort (Sahoro Resort).

Unlike Niseko or Furano, Sahoro is relatively uncrowded—even on weekends—which makes for a relaxed and enjoyable riding experience.
You can enjoy Hokkaido’s signature light powder snow without worrying about lift lines or crowded slopes.

Although it’s a mid-sized resort, the terrain variety is solid.
From beginner-friendly areas to ungroomed runs, Sahoro offers something for every level of skier and snowboarder.

If you’re planning a ski trip to Hokkaido and looking for a less crowded alternative to the major resorts, Sahoro might be worth considering.
