✨ About Hinoemata Kabuki
Hinoemata Kabuki is a unique village tradition where residents perform, build, and preserve the art form themselves.
The open-air thatched stage, rebuilt in 1897 after a fire, is designated as an Important Tangible Folk Cultural Property of Japan.
Performances are held only three times a year — an unforgettable night of dance, chanting, and devotion.
