  3. Oh, wow! Normally I like the ryokans in the forest/ mountains the best, but this one might be my new favourite out of all the ones you've visited so far! The service was so incredible! And the infinity baths are amazing, especially with that view! And I really loved the look and feel of the room. The town also seemed so charming, I'd love the chance to explore it. I can't wait to visit this wonderful ryokan, thank you for introducing it to us!! 💜

  4. The view of the ocean from the ryokan you were staying is so gorgeous. I love ocean views and that was the most beautiful viewing of the ocean I've ever seen. Amazing video!

  5. What an amazingly beautiful place !!! Everything in this ryokan is so beautiful. Especially the wonderful food, with so many oyster dishes. And the wonderful rotemburos. Thank you very much for sharing this hidden jem with us. I very much wish to spend 2 nights there in one of our next trips to Japan.

  6. Gorgeous.. can you tell me what time of year this was filmed? Can I assume it was very recent?

  7. Weather is so calm and such a pretty sky, hard to believe it’s winter. Actually, seems pleasant to stay at a seaside onsen now- cool weather, less crowds. That quiet morning outdoor bath overlooking the sea looked refreshing, must be heaven.

  8. I forgot to make this comment before, especially since I am now living in Japan, I'm going to try to make it to more of these Ryokans. If you wouldn't mind asking and adding in the videos whether the public bath portions are tattoo friendly. As a fellow lover of Ryokan's that has quite a few large tattoos. It helps me out a lot knowing how much I can enjoy these Ryokans. I did my best last year to try to cover up my tattoos at the Lake Toya ryokan, but it wasn't feasible and the covers fell off quickly.

  10. Not sure if anyone answered your question about those clouds, but they are likely cirrus or cirrostratus clouds! ❤ Very common formations in winter time~

  11. Lovely ryokan – unfortunately the open air bath in the room is not a hotspring bath so that’s rather disappointing. Other than that it looks comfortable.

  12. Stunning sunset! I don’t know what it is but sunsets in Japan have something special about them.
Also, is eating puffer fish not scary to you? I would be scared to eat it myself.
