This video shows you a summer walk around Higashikagura town center district.
Higashikagura Town has a population of 9,774 and an area of 68.50 km², making it not very large.
However, it is known as the “Town of Flowers” and has received some awards for this distinction.
The outskirts of the town feature vast fields and rural landscapes, but crossing the central area only takes a few minutes by car or about 30 minutes on foot.
Additionally, Asahikawa Airport is located within the town.
When you’re in this area, you can often see planes that have just taken off or are about to land.
In the first half of the video, I walked around the town center and near the town hall, while in the second half, I explored around Higashikagura Shrine.
