My husband and our two young children are coming to Bangkok in March. We will only be in the city for 2 days. Staying one night in lumpini and one near the international airport. If you think of more local spots that we just have to check out and would be kid friendly please let me know. I’ve been watching you since your rickshaw adventure with friends Paddy!
One of our favourite things to do is ride the Khlong Saen Saep canal boats. I will definitely be trying to do some more exploring around the canal when I am back.

Used the boat a few weeks ago when going to the Golden Mount after eating at Go Ang Chicken Rice Restaurant in Pratunam. Should have also looked down the back streets to see that stewed pork restaurant.

Let's keep things honest, you are not a random roaming cook, you are a roaming food taster. Second you need to plan and prepare, at least partially your narration, since currently is laboriously repetive and redundant, can probably be distilled and condensed into 60% of your current length. Otherwise you are running the chance of losing many of your loyal followers.

Aww, Im not going to lie, the canals hold a very special place in my heart. I probably use the canal boats & walk/ bike the pathways more than the BTS & MRT & I love it! For me, its quintessential Bangkok and its a shame more tourists dont try it out!
Add to that, my 2 favourite Youtubers and ive done nothing but smile the entire way thru this video! I have so many favourite spots on or close to the canals incl having eaten at that exact spot in Phrom Phong. I literally felt like I was there with you both 🙂

That Khlong line is great, as you say, easiest way from Banglamphu eastwards. Can stop at Jim Thompson's etc. Love it
a quick heads up from a qualified nutritionist, be careful of the pork, there's lot of parasites in pork, these parasites can create all kinds of illness both mental and physical
You may also want to look into the chemicals being used in the maggi sauce as it can be very toxic for our guts to process, the gut is the second brain, a clean gut = a clean mind – great video tho, keep up the good work x

I find it unusual that they don’t accept the QR payment system, given that they seem to imply that everything is going cashless in Thailand.
That noodle shop is exactly what I love about Bangkok. I’ve visited there several times now and I make a point of staying in a different area every time, and getting off the beaten track 🥰
