About This Walk / この散歩について

This walk takes place at Shirataki Shrine, a small hillside shrine in Kiryu, visited quietly on a winter day.
この散歩は、桐生の丘に静かに佇む白瀧神社を、冬のある日に訪れた記録です。

The buildings show their age openly, without restoration meant to hide time.
建物は長い年月を重ねた姿のまま、大切に保たれています。

Although this is not a World Heritage site, it is part of Japan’s recognized cultural landscape, valued as a local place of faith rather than a destination.
ここは世界遺産ではありませんが、日本遺産に関連する文化的な場所として、地域の信仰とともに守られてきました。

Located close to other temples and shrines in the area, this is a place that continues quietly, without drawing attention.
周囲の寺社とともに、目立つことなく、今も静かに続いている場所です。
