Seto, Japan – Jokoji Temple Autumn Walk • POV Walking Tour | 4K HDR | 定光寺

Take a peaceful late autumn walking tour through Jokoji Temple (定光寺) in Seto, Aichi Prefecture, Japan.

This is a 4K HDR POV walking tour, recorded slowly to capture the natural ambience of the temple and its surroundings.

Founded in 1336 during the Muromachi period, Jokoji is a historic Zen Buddhist temple set among quiet forested hills. Some of the temple buildings, including the main hall, are designated Important Cultural Properties, and the grounds are closely connected to the Owari Tokugawa family. The mausoleum of Tokugawa Yoshinao, son of Tokugawa Ieyasu, is located here.

This video was filmed in autumn, with gentle seasonal colors, falling leaves, stone paths, and even an unexpected chicken wandering the temple grounds. The walk ends at the bottom of the long staircase lined with small shrines, each with its own meaning.
