Tado Taisha (Northern Ise Grand Shrine),
located in Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture, Japan.
Since ancient times, it has been believed that a visit to Ise Grand Shrine
is considered truly complete—a fulfilled vow—
only when accompanied by a visit to Tado Taisha.
Tado Taisha enshrines a divine child of Amaterasu Ōmikami,
the principal deity of Ise Grand Shrine,
and has long been revered as a sacred place deeply connected to the Ise deities.
The year 2026 is the Year of the Horse.
With its deep association with horses,
Tado Taisha is regarded as one of the most meaningful places to visit this year.
So as not to make this journey a “half pilgrimage,”
