⁴ᴷ Kagawa: Takamatsu Station (香川県: 高松駅) – Japan Walking Tour (January, 2026)
I’ve decided to take an off-season trip back to my hometown in Kobe, using it as a starting point for a journey all the way around Shikoku. Despite encountering some snow along the way, I crossed the Seto Ohashi Bridge and finally arrived in Takamatsu, Kagawa.
Before leaving Tokyo, I had planned to check out “Anabuki Arena Kagawa” for its fascinating architecture, but it completely slipped my mind! I’ll definitely have to save that for my next visit.
Being a Friday night, the Takamatsu Chuo Shopping Mall—Japan’s longest arcade street—was bustling with people. The adjacent entertainment district was also lively with touts, capturing the vibrant energy of the city after dark.
