In this video, I take a relaxed walking tour of Vilnius, Lithuania, exploring the city’s historic Old Town on foot. With just a few hours before flying home, I spend the morning wandering through some of Vilnius’ most important landmarks, squares, churches, and viewpoints.
The walk begins as I head into Vilnius Old Town, making my way to Cathedral Square, home to Vilnius Cathedral and its famous Bell Tower. I explore the area around the cathedral, talk about the history of the city, and point out some of the surrounding buildings, including the nearby palace complex.
From there, I continue walking through the old town streets, passing historic gates, churches, and quieter corners of the city. I visit the Orthodox Cathedral of the Blessed Mother of God, walk alongside the Vilnia River, and explore areas close to the edge of the old town.
Later in the walk, I reach Town Hall Square, before pointing out key locations such as the Gates of Dawn and the Bastion. This video is all about seeing Vilnius at street level — its compact layout, rich history, and relaxed atmosphere — making it perfect if you’re planning a visit or simply enjoy real-time city walks.
