【大阪】堺が想像以上に最高だった…🍁この秋、完全に大当たり🌕
Hello, my name is Shie. I recently visited Sakai, Osaka. First, I went for lunch. It’s located near Oizumi Ryokuchi Park. I went to the PARKSIDE, a cafe and market produced by the Osaka Southern Association of Fruit and Vegetables. They offer plates filled with fresh vegetables and seasonal fruit. Christmas is just around the corner, and the decorations are adorable. This is the bamboo steamer (1,600 yen) my husband ordered. It features 15 varieties of seasonal vegetables, chicken, and 15-grain bread. It seems to be available only during the winter and in limited quantities. This is the salad plate (1,400 yen) I ordered. I chose chicken for my main course. It was packed with vegetables and looked gorgeous, which made me happy. I also ordered from the set menu: quiche (350 yen) and tea (350 yen). The incredibly generous salad plate was topped with over 20 different kinds of fresh vegetables and seasonal fruit. The natural flavor of each vegetable is apparent, allowing me to savor each one carefully. The vegetables and dressings change depending on the season, so I can enjoy this place again and again! I chose corn for the homemade dressing. It’s an unusual dressing, isn’t it? I could really taste the gentle flavor of the corn. I sliced into the quiche. Inside, it was filled with pumpkin, potato, lotus root, and peppers, making it a satisfying meal! Finally, I ate some seasonal fruit. Thank you for the meal. Next time, I’ll go and enjoy autumn to the fullest. There are hot air balloons flying! I’ll go see them later! The parking lot was packed. I managed to find a parking spot and arrived at Daisen Park, a comprehensive park that is Sakai’s symbol. Is this Scandinavian? It ‘s already so beautiful… The colors are truly beautiful. The sound of leaves underfoot is lovely. I discovered the remains of an ancient burial mound. It’s been developed into an observation deck, and it seems you can go up there. Looking out, a lush landscape spreads before me. The park, by the way, is said to cover an area of approximately 380,000 square meters. We explored the spacious park. The balloons were huge! I wanted to see the monument in the square. Wow! This collaboration is amazing! The shadows are lovely, too. Looking out over the square, the air was calm. I wanted to grab some sandwiches and have a picnic! We lined up to enter the Japanese garden in Daisen Park. Admission is 200 yen (adults). The total area is approximately 26,000 square meters. This traditional Japanese garden expresses the history and culture of Sakai, and is designed in the “Tsukiyamarinsenkaiyu” style, a strolling garden with a hill and forest. The garden offers beautiful scenery throughout the seasons, and when we visited, the autumn leaves were at their peak. I had intended to stroll briefly, but naturally ended up staying longer. The quiet and tranquil garden is well worth a visit. And the maple leaves are simply beautiful! I was captivated by their beauty. We’re almost at the halfway point. Even the shadows are beautiful… It’s hard not to want to cross such a delightful bridge. Carp were swimming leisurely. We didn’t have much time, so we walked a little faster in the second half, but I’d like to come back for another stroll in a different season. Next, we’ll go see the hot air balloon. The special nighttime illuminations look amazing. The sound of the river and waterfalls, the beautiful greenery, the autumn leaves at their peak, and the happy faces of the people passing by made this a very pleasant and relaxing Japanese garden. So, let’s go see the hot air balloon. As we got closer, it was huge! More and more people were boarding, and it looked like it was about to rise. It was rising! This hot air balloon is called the Osaka Sakai Balloon. It apparently rises to a height of about 100 meters. It offers a bird’s-eye view of the Mozu-Furuichi Kofun Group, a World Heritage Site. The fare is 4,200 yen (adult). It seemed popular, with a long line. Hot air balloons are scary, but I might want to try it. Turning around and looking up… It’s already so high! Next, we head to the Emperor Nintoku Tomb. While you can’t go inside, there is a walking path that takes you around the entire perimeter. Emperor Nintoku’s tomb is Japan’s largest keyhole-shaped tumulus, measuring approximately 486 meters in length. Looking to the left and right, you can see the beautiful moats. There’s a prayer hall, and we were able to visit. It takes about an hour to walk around the promenade. Leaving Daisen Park behind, we headed to a cafe. We arrived at JR and Nankai’s Mikunigaoka Station. This is Essego, located right near the station. We ordered and waited. Here are my husband’s orders: hot coffee (450 yen) and stollen (380 yen). Christmas is approaching. Here are my orders: English milk tea (420 yen) and Japanese chestnut Mont Blanc (898 yen). So beautiful! ❤︎. The tray is also cute. The milk tea is soothing. I don’t want to break it, but… I’ll eat it! This is apparently a seasonal item. Inside is whipped cream and meringue. The Mont Blanc cream is very rich, and the deliciousness of the Japanese chestnut really comes through. It’s a happy Mont Blanc time. The crunchy meringue adds a delightful texture. There’s a little chestnut on top. I’m almost finished eating it…tears. Thank you for the meal. Next, we went to the roasting workshop, Mikiya Coffee. My husband wanted to buy some coffee beans. He bought some dark roasted beans. Next, we visited Otori Taisha Shrine. We entered through this torii gate. I felt a bit strange, wondering if it was okay to run through such a place. This is the Ichinomiya Shrine of Izumi Province, established about 1,900 years ago. It’s said to be the place where Yamato Takeru no Mikoto’s spirit turned into a swan and landed for the last time. A slightly unusual amulet has been making waves. It’s said to grant foresight, and it’s transparent, glowing in the light. My husband collects goshuin (temple stamps), and this one is beautiful! It changes monthly, and on this occasion it was a sweet osmanthus. We decided to try the fortune-telling slips (katsu mikuji) that grant foresight (kachi mikuji). I got the lowest one, which meant victory, sadly… My husband got…good luck! It’s transparent! Amazing! When I put it on the back of my fortune slip, it looked like this. My result wasn’t great, but I was glad to see the transparent fortune slip☆. Finally, we went to see the night view. We headed to Sakai City Hall. There’s an observation lobby on the 21st floor. Admission is free, and you can enjoy a spectacular 360-degree view from about 80 meters above ground. When we arrived on the 21st floor, we could see the Sakai cityscape. We could see the hot air balloons we saw during the day. The sun had just set, and the sky still had a lingering orange hue. We could also see Emperor Nintoku’s tomb. Just below was Nankai Sakai-Higashi Station. In the distance, we could see Abeno Harukas. I also like this orange and pink hue at this time of day. As it got dark, the night view began to glow. The hot air balloons looked like the moon. It was a truly magical scene. Thank you for watching. Please like and subscribe.
