Meshitabi Season 5This time, Meshitabi is about Tochigi gourmet food in the Utsunomiya area~♬ Let’s quickly go over 15 restaurants‼ So let’s get started~♬ ✨ 1. “Family Restaurant Ox” For us who came from Hokkaido, when we hear Utsunomiya , the only thing that comes to mind is gyoza, but there’s actually a lot more to it‼ Yes, actually, other than gyoza, it’s also the number one tea consumer in Japan, the town of Oishi, the town of cocktails, the town of jazz, the town of Hyakunin Isshu, and more! Wow, it’s so diverse! It’s even ranked second in Japan in terms of towns where it’s easy to raise children … it’s got all sorts of fun! Wow, so it’s easy to raise children?! So, we’re sneaking into a super cool, long-established restaurant in Unomiya that ‘s been closed for many years , founded in 1974👀Yes , omurice♬ What can I say!! I’ve had omurice all over Japan, but this is one of the best I’ve ever had! Not only was it huge, but the taste was also amazing. The chicken rice in the elegant demi-glace sauce of a long-established restaurant was lightly seasoned , giving it the feel of an adult omurice . The demi-glace was delicious . The hamburger steak was also quite filling! The potato garnish filled me up … Next time I’ll come back for the katsu curry! I’m a Napolitan fan! 2. “Futatsume” – Extremely thick soup noodles – is open until 10pm, which is great! A rare triangular ramen shop with many convenient features. The thick, flat, curly noodles served in a thick, thick soup are hard-boiled, perhaps because they’ll get soggy while you’re eating the huge amount of vegetables ? You came here! It’s a great cafe to enjoy a relaxing time ♬ The fluffy and well-cooked pancakes were a surprise! While many restaurants prepare them rare, they deliberately made them more like chiffon, which was perfect ♬ Right, this is perfect! Just as fluffy as my ○○ ♬ 4 “Gohan Dokoro Manten Shokudo” Explosive Mountain Set Meal ✨ Locked onto the restaurant with a queue on Route 119 👀 Apparently this is the main store in Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture ! Wow, unlimited rice at this price must be irresistible for young people, don’t you think? There are a lot of huge portions after all! Thank goodness it comes with a salad‼ 850 yen‼ ！！ 7. “Chicken Paitan Ramen CAROL” has many affiliated and produced stores in the prefecture and is known as an EY Takesue-style restaurant. The owner is from Kitsuregawa Town, where the Takesue main store is located, and of course “CAROL” is named after Nagachan. Nagachan-style restaurants are all delicious, after all! Indeed! Wow, the chicken paitan was delicious. I’ve been to all the EY Takesue-style restaurants, but this chicken paitan was the best for me. Funky Monkey Baby. The staff recommended the fried horse mackerel, which is popular, so I ordered that! Oh, there it is! I’m a horse mackerel fry hunter and I’ve eaten delicious fried horse mackerel all over Japan ! I rarely wear mascara, but… huh? I’m still wearing mascara! Fatty fried horse mackerel♬ I think this would rank in the top 5 on Japan’s delicious rankings… wow, in the FIFA rankings, it’s on the same level as Argentina, Spain, France, England, and Brazil! Amazing. What about Japan? Apparently it’s 15th! What? Already 15th? Amazing! Right? 9. ” Panetteria Vivo” A boulangerie in a suburban residential area . I was blown away by the butterbur Danish I tried for the first time! No, I mean it’s not butterbur! Rhubarb! What? Rhubarb bub? This is delicious! So delicious! ♬ 10. This Nepalese curry restaurant was recommended to me as the best by the handsome Nepalese man who appears in the poor dance at the beginning of “Miya Curry” ♬ Their biryani is exquisite! The most popular is the chicken biryani, topped with papadum! Yes. Chicken Biryani – What is Biryani? A fragrant Indian-style rice dish made with spices, meat, seafood, vegetables, and bastima rice, a favorite in India and Nepal. It’s made by layering long, thin rice similar to Indica rice and steaming it. It’s different from Indica rice, right? No, no , can you really call it Indica rice ? What’s with this amount? The soup was delicious♬ Yes, I’d love to have the tomato one – ah, it’s only available in summer‼ Looks yummy‼ Hey 15 “Koraku” My favorite gyoza, as expected. It’s in a suburban house, here it is‼ This is a favorite of mine and I’ve been going there for years. The gyoza taste remains as delicious as ever, but I guess it’s a sign of the times… It’s sad to see Japanese food culture go awry with the introduction of automatic QR code washing machines and the like, losing everything’s clatter… Yeah… These gyoza are wrapped in a chewy skin , crispy on the outside, and beautifully browned ! They’re a satisfying, juice-pushing gyoza, and cost 310 yen per serving . That’s great! Well, I’ve quickly listed about 30 places I enjoyed eating around Utsunomiya , but I haven’t quite found the perfect place … I’ve left out about 15… I’m sure there are still some great places out there, so please let me know in the comments for next time .
