China Travel By Train 🇨🇳 HIGH SPEED TRAIN from Chongqing to Chengdu (Honest vlog)

Good morning everyone. We have just arrived
in Chongqin train station. We are taking highspeed train this morning to Changdu. So
Changdu vlogs coming soon. We are leaving rainy and cold Chongqin. Can’t wait for some
sunshine. It says it’s sunshine but it’s still like 10° I think. Yeah. All right. We need
to find our way because this place is like a maze. I don’t know where we’re going. Rail
transit long distance bus. This place is huge. Just be aware there is north and south
terminal, right? Yeah. So when you look at your train tickets, be aware which way you
get dropped cuz this terminal is huge. So your ticket will either say south or north. So
we’re in the south. We are less already. Right. So we have just arrived. Basically
we were just on the wrong level. The South Railway. Yeah. South Railway Station is just here.
Oh, baby. 7-Eleven. You’re on 7-Eleven. 7. Let’s go seven. Do we have time to go seven? Yeah,
we got like an hour. We’re here super early, so we got an hour. Oh, I missed you. Seven.
It’s not going to be the same, you know. We are in 711. Look, they have seven drinks. Coconut
milk, coconut water, maybe coconut water. Yeah, you still got your standard crisps here and stuff
like that. Danny, you’re not cold. Now, they got some uh hot snacks here. Which one you want?
Yeah, white. Okay, pick one. Egg and ham. Yeah, we can do. Yeah. Right. Seven shopping done. All
right. This place is huge. Right. So, the ticket is tied to your passport, right? You don’t need a
It should be. We might have to go to the counter. So, yeah, your passport is tied to your ticket.
So, you don’t actually need a physical ticket. So, you just hand over your passport and it should be
logged already. Yeah. But uh tourists has to go, foreigners has to go to a special counter
counter uh because we don’t have a Chinese ID. So you cannot use all of these booths
here. You have to come to the one on the side. VIP right 18 to 25 at our gate. So we just got
checked. We see the lady asked to open the bottle of uh water. She was smelling it. Maybe she
Polish persons trying to snuggle some vodka. Yeah, maybe. We can’t wait. Yeah. Our first experience
on a high train and see where we’re going. I’m super excited. I love train journeys. Wow.
Oh, look at that. That’s huge. Oh my god. Check this place out. Where’s our gate? This is
bigger than some of the airports. This is 26B. What’s our gate, baby? We’re like 6 A 78. Typical
at the at the end. But our last video from China is going to be a video where basically uh we’re
going to give you all the tips what to expect when you come here because some of the things they
differ a lot from what you used to do when you travel in Europe or anywhere else in the roads.
Yeah, we found out some things already which we were a little bit lost about but now we know it.
We can’t see many videos with people saying how to do this kind of stuff. So, so hopefully we’re
going to give you some tips and make your travel in China easier. There’s just another 7-Eleven
over there. We just left. Um, so there is a lot of shops here if you’re wondering if you’re going
to get anything inside. There’s some hot food, some snacks, some noodles, some fried chicken.
McDonald’s. KFC. Is that? Yeah. KFC. McDonald’s. There sign of McDonald’s. We’re going to
try this one. See if there’s any hot tea. We’ve gone from drinking iced tea every day
to drinking hot tea and hot coffee now. So, we have ordered jasmine tea, but it’s with milk.
We came to Chagi. It’s going to be interesting, right? It’s a bit different tea. What happened?
Oh, to drink it. I didn’t realize they put a lid on it. So, there’s nothing coming out.
So, see this is jasmine tea but with milk. It’s very milky. It’s more like milk with
tea. M. You can smell it. It smells lovely. Ooh, that’s really nice. Yeah, it’s like
floury and not too creamy. It’s just like a milk. It doesn’t really taste milky tea.
Like super milky tea. That’s good. Yeah. Oh, that’s nice. Try some. That is
really, really good. Very comforting. And when it’s cold Oh, yeah. It’s perfect.
Right, we’re going get a train. I think everyone’s queuing over there. So, I think
it’s boarding time. 7 a.m. Yeah. Yeah. Go. Massive queue. But luckily we got that
sign. Oh my. Oh my god. How many people? So the man has to scan past the s. So the man, you have to come to the right side cuz
that’s where your passport is being scanned. We just like jumped over to another
queue. That’s why I was saying the passport didn’t work. So people behind
us will know why we jumped. Oh, okay. Oh, we are back in the open, right? Let’s
go. Let’s find the car one. Car one. This place is big. The camera
doesn’t even show how big it is. Wa! Look at that. How Yeah, it is
freezing. But why you not wearing jackets? Silly sausage. Car free. So we
should go left, right? I think so. We are car one. We just check our ticket.
Yeah. Car one and we see 60c. Car one. Yoohoo. Do I have a time to take a video from
carwan? Is that one? Yeah. Number one. Oh, we in a posh bit, guys. How cool
is this? It’s freezing. 6 DC 6 doesn’t smell very fresh. 60. Are you
joking. We’re not sitting together. Yeah, we’re not sitting together. Oh, you can’t
pick the scenes. No. Disappointing. This I thought this is going to be nice. You watch all those
videos, people raving about it. Trains in China, how clean and how new they are. I don’t know if
we picked the wrong train or or what. I mean, it’s not like dirty dirty. There’s just some
crumbs on the seats and it’s just really run down. Well, it’s not bad, but I was expecting
something better. Especially there is first class. The seat is like a freaking You’re
sitting on a plastic that’s just solid, isn’t it? There’s like no material. No cushion
there. No cushion at the back. What are your thoughts then? It’s not what I expected for first
class. It’s a little bit more not run down. It’s a bit older. I think this might be an older bullet
train. I think Yeah, slightly older. Danny just said basically you have to remember that bullet
trains in China, they’ve been running for a very long time now. So, they might be little bit old
and run down. Um, it’s not really dirty. It is clean. It’s just like, you know, everything is
bit old. So maybe lost a little bit of color and stuff like that. But what how fast we going?
How fast are we going? I can’t reach. Oh 157 kilometers per hour at the moment. It’s going
to go faster. Current speed 193 km an hour. Let me quickly show you the bathroom
situation. So, you actually do have like a whole sink area. There’s even
an area for hot water and cold water, which is cool. Let’s quickly
check out the bathroom. H, not that bad. Quite clean, small. There you
go. I’ve come back and Diggy’s got herself a tea. And you got a table here as well. Very nice and subtle. All tea in China is like
very very delicate. I really like it. So yeah, overall experience here on a China train. The
train is clean. Uh seats are a little bit hard at the back, but that doesn’t matter. We’re
not going for hours. And it’s very smooth. A lot of space, a lot of leg space. There
you go. Table. Show the table. Danny. A little table comes out as well. It’s just an average train. It’s nothing special
special, but it’s just a nice train. Well, I thought I thought it was going to be special.
What would you rate this train out of? Seven. Seven. Yeah. Yeah. Seven. After all, not
that bad. Shame we’re not sitting together. have a break from me for 2 hours.
We’ll go and sit in the other car then. Yeah. Shame we don’t have a window seat. But you
can come to the carriage in between and I’ll show you out the window cuz some of the views are
really nice. But that’s the one thing Diggy’s made disappointed about is not having a window
and sitting together. But yeah, all together. Nice train. But we only got 2 and 1/2 hours on this one
and then we’ll see you in Changdu. So, I just came um to the end of the car to hopefully take some
views out the window for you. We are passing some countryside now and it’s just like scenery.
It’s absolutely amazing. You can see a rural China. We are passing a lot of tunnels now. It’s
not bad not bad experience after all. I was just a little bit disappointed in the beginning and a
little bit morning. But the train is very quiet. And like you see is a lot of
space. Hello. What you doing? My new favorite crisp flavor. H ketchup.
Good. Right. We have arrived in Changdu. Don’t feel that much warmer. Yeah. Look at the
train. Just be aware when you travel on these trains in China, there is something you’re
going to need earplugs or noise cancellation earphones because people tend to watch movies
on the phone out loud or they meant to make the private phone calls sitting next to you and
talking all the time. So, top tip for you. So, now we have to get to the hotel. We’re not
sure if we’re going to grab the taxi or go by train yet. Uh we’re going to show you where
we stay. We staying in very nice accommodation, very affordable, just like one in Chongqing and
central again. Central central again. Yes. The reason why we stayed in these places central is
cuz we’re not in there for a long time. So you want to be near all the stuff you want to see and
get to stuff easy without having to get touches everywhere. So there is a lot of people who wants
to see Changdu just so busy everywhere. So from here you can also go straight to Changdu airport
check in. That’s what it says over there. So I don’t know if that’s the train or airports here
as well. I’m I’m not sure. Uh but we decided on taxi because it’s only 15 yuan to where we going.
Taxis in China are so affordable. Hello. Hello. Hello. Hello. Kids are always staring. So, we
decided with taxi. We decided with taxi because it’s only 15 yuan. How many minute drive, Danny?
It’s like a 28 30 minute drive. 30 minutes. 30 minutes drive. 15 yuan. Also, if you’re going to
catch a train, total time is the same time. So, taxi. This is easier. Another tip for you. If
you are in like a airport or train station, go pick always car hailing. If you ordering taxi
of the application, don’t go to the taxi point. Go to the car hailing cuz that’s where all the
DD and everything else picks you up. Right. Oh, the DD taxis. Yeah, like grab basically or boat.
Yeah. Otherwise, they won’t pick you up from the taxi place. We have arrived. We need to find a
hotel now. It’s inside the plaza. I think it’s inside. So maybe this one here that looks
like this could be a plaza here. Ooh, here. It’s quiet here. So we just walked into the hotel,
asked where is our hotel and it says it’s on the fourth floor in here. So let’s go in. Yeah, just
slammed the door in my face. Mom, elevator. Just be aware that elevator in this hotel is quite
old and is shared with um the whole building. We have booking pandas everywhere. Hello.
You can take this water or coffee ice or warm free. It’s free. Yes. Thank you. If
you need you can take yourself. Okay. Thank you very much. You’re welcome. You like it?
It’s so cute. So cute. It’s frozen for Oh, sh. Thank you so much. Oh my god. Look at that.
How cute is this? So cute. Panda. Very cute. Oh, so happy you already got a panda. Sh. Thank
you. So, we just arrived and the hotel staff is so friendly and so helpful. They said
we can ask them anything we want 24 hours. uh 24 hours a day. They’ve got loads of water
and free coffee and tea also available 24 hours anytime you want. Deliverot. Yes. Yeah. Yeah. Does
it do a food delivery or room service? Yes. Oh, wow. Well, this hotel looks really really good.
We’re going to we’re going to leave all the name name of the hotel and where we booked it uh in
a link in description for you. This my room. You take photos. Yes. For YouTube. Oh, YouTube.
YouTube. Nice. Nice. Thank you. This hotel look very new, very clean. Okay. Okay. Air con is
a bit noisy. So, we just quickly got our room changed because the air con was loud in the other
uh room, but there was no problem at all. The lady was so accommodating. I’m going to take my shoes
off now and I’m going to show you how lovely is this place. So, straight away here we’ve got a
smart toilet shower. Everything is nice and clean, spotless. So, we’ve got our own uh water machine.
Danny, do you remember? Oh, okay. You don’t have to do it by voice. You can just um basically
control it by hand, but you can have a hot water, cold water, anything you want. Beautiful
mirror and sink. Then we’ve got a massive TV and a big bed and a working space as well.
Unfortunately, we have no view because Oh, well, Danny, open the curtains. We have a view.
Yes. See? Oh, yes. And look at our view. Tada. It’s not an actual window. The bed is
huge as well. This room is spotless. It’s so clean. There’s not even dust anywhere. It
I’m really impressed by Chinese hotels by the ones we picked so far. You And a lot of space.
There’s so much space in these hotels. Loads of space. Do you remember how much this hotel was
off top of your head? That much. That much. I booked it ages ago. I can’t remember. So, we’re
just going to stick on the screen. So, yeah, we’re staying here for 6 days and we’re
really excited to go explore Changdu. So, we’re going to finish the video here and make
sure you hit that uh bell button so you’re not going to miss any of the videos coming out.
Uh hit the like button because then YouTube pushes the videos further. And we’re going
to see you next one. Cheers, guys. Bye.

  1. you can always ask if you can switch seats. routes through hilly/mountain regions usually run a little slower and tend to have more tunnels.

  2. This train is rundown? Then what is the train in the USA or Europe? Girl visit so many third world countries and then come to this train call it rundown 😅

  3. 7/11. The institution humans, ALL humans know, can guarantee that are OUT THERE IN A MILLION in that least that many!!! 😱😁😱 Well, their are certain things in the world… 🤔

  4. You should visit one of the ancient towns just outside Chengdu. Stunning and full of the ancient history, culture and architecture. Google will pull up the top 5 with descriptions and pick one. The taxi ride will be affordable as well. Happy travels.

  5. I don't think you are like a traveler, but more like an inspector picking questions, and you are on the wrong bus, which is not a high-speed rail.

  6. From ChengDu, catch an early fast train to JiuZhaiGou, one of the most beautiful places in the world, spend one day there, and catch a night train back.

  7. The train you're riding on is indeed quite old. It's a CRH2 series high-speed train, ordered by the Chinese Ministry of Railways from Kawasaki Heavy Industries of Japan in 2004. Its prototype is the Shinkansen E2-1000 model, which entered service in 2007. China's domestically produced high-speed trains include several models such as the CR200J, CR300, CR400, and CR450, with the first model entering service in 2017. Overall, they are more modern.

  8. That "window". You had me. Oh, we have a view… ta da!… Lighted painting. Love it though. So vibrant. Can't wait to see the city.

  9. From Chongqing, Chengdu, Kunming, Nanning, Guizhou, Guilin etc can take High speed train to HK also and Chinese immigration after arrived in HK at the West Kowloon station still go through the China immigration and then walk towards to HK immigration to enter HK and no China immigration inside the High speed train station in China.

  10. There are two types of trains in China. One is a CRH380 (200-250 km/h) low speed train, and the other is a CR400 CR450 high speed train. (300-350 km/h) You two were definitely on the wrong high speed train.

  11. The weather is cold with raining. Take care yourself. By the way, the high speed train is so comfortable. So good. 🙂

  12. China's high-speed rail has been in operation for a long time and has a variety of train models. It's normal that not all lines use new trains.

  13. I hope you're savoring every moment of your adventure in China. It's truly an incredible place to explore!

  14. 中国很大很大,这样的城市还有很多很多,有比它更加繁荣的城市,但是最好的风景在各种景区,欢迎你再次到来,祝你旅程愉快

  16. Business class for HSR in China is at best equivalent to Business class cabin of an airline, for HSR in China, the real deal is “Business Class” where the seats can be fully reclined to 180 degree to make a flat bed.

  17. 铁路安检中让顾客打开饮料是防止带的是易燃液体,一般是让游客自己喝一口。这个是安全检查环节,确实比其他国家要严格,但是保证安全更重要。

  18. Chengdu is nicknamed the city of pandas. Have you seen the giant panda statues? Traveling around China is indeed fun; there are many modern, clean, and safe cities from pickpockets and criminals. Don't forget to visit Hangzhou, Suzhou, Shanghai, and Shenzhen.

  19. Take a trip to Mount Siguniang, one of the most beautiful places on earth, four hours from Chengdu.

Mount Siguniang (Four Girls Mountain) in Sichuan, China, is a stunning range featuring four snow-capped peaks, the tallest at 6,250m, known as the "Oriental Alps" for its breathtaking alpine scenery, diverse valleys (Shuangqiao, Changping, Haizi), and as a habitat for giant pandas, making it a premier destination for hiking, trekking, and experiencing Tibetan culture. It's famous for its challenging climbs, like Dafeng, but also offers accessible treks in its scenic valleys, especially beautiful in spring and autumn.
    Key Features & Highlights:
The Four Peaks: Named after a legend, the main peaks include Yaomei Peak (the tallest), Dafeng, Erfeng, and Sanfeng (Sangguniang).
    Scenic Valleys:
Shuangqiao Valley: Offers diverse landscapes, waterfalls, and is accessible by bus.
Changping Valley: Features ancient forests, meadows, and is great for hiking.
Haizi Valley: Known for its lakes and less developed trails, with horse riding available.
Natural Beauty: Alpine scenery with glaciers, forests, meadows, and rich biodiversity, including giant pandas.
Cultural Experience: Located in Tibetan and Qiang autonomous areas, offering a blend of Tibetan and Qiang culture, monasteries, and local life.
    Best Time to Visit:

    Getting There:
Located about 200km west of Chengdu, Sichuan, accessible by road.
    Activities:
Trekking and hiking (ranging from easy valley walks to challenging peak ascents).
    Photography, enjoying alpine scenery.
Experiencing local Tibetan and Qiang culture.
    Tips:
Dress in layers; it gets cold at altitude.
Waterproof, sturdy hiking boots are essential.
Consider hiring guides or booking tours for peak climbs.

  20. On 3 Dec 2025 I did this….
Question to chatgpt: " How many neighboring countries have been at war for over 3 months attacked and continuously killed sadistically by Chinese soldiers outside of China territories"
The answers from chatgpt was 0.

So, we now know who the undisputed real war mongering terrorist, the sadistic serial killer criminal gang is. Their most evil, cruel and sadistic soldiers and govt officials of Japan with the highest killing rate of innocent pregnant women, little children, and babies EVEN TODAY STILL get the HIGHEST HONOR in Japan's YASUKUNI SHRINE. Therefore, Japanese polite and friendly nature is just a cover up for their evil, brutal, oppressive, and sadistic intentions, it is just like wolfs in sheeps' clothing.

  21. You took the "D" trains, which are based on old Japanese tech runs only 200kmh and ready to throw away. Advice: Pick the "G" class train, then you can get the 350kmh Fuxing train for the high level amenity.
