INSIDE THE CHEAPEST CABIN ON BOARD P&O IONA | Cruise Ship Tips by The Owlet Blog

Welcome on board POS’s Iona. We are in an inside cabin on deck 10, cabin 10118. Let me show you around. When you first come in, you’ve got all of your storage here. And then you come in to the desk. Around here, you’ve got the bed, loads of mirrors, and then you’ve got another little desk here, which is your TV stand. And then in here you have the bathroom, which there’s not really much to write home

This is what you get when you book the cheapest cabin on P&O Cruises’ MV Iona 🚢

Take a look around our inside cabin on deck 10 (cabin 10118). It was pretty much the furthest forward you could get, but being a big ship meant we barely felt any movement, even when the sea was supposed to be a little rougher in the first few days. Our only complaint is that we had to walk ages to get anywhere – even from the theatre it was still a long walk back to our cabin 😅

Our cosy interior cabin was fine for us, so we were happy with booking the cheapest fare possible. Having said that, if you have mobility issues I would spend the extra to be closer to the lifts (and all of the action!!).

Would you stay in this cabin? What are your cabin deal breakers? For me, as long as I’m on a ship I don’t care! 🌊
