stroll around and eat some food. [Morning itinerary: Arashiyama (Tenryu-ji Temple, Arashiyama Bamboo Grove,

That’s about it. [Morning itinerary: Arashiyama (Tenryu-ji Temple, Arashiyama Bamboo Grove,
Jojakko-ji Temple)] [Evening itinerary: Kitano Tenmangu Shrine]
Let’s start today’s journey. We are now heading to Arashiyama on the Hankyu Line. This is Togetsu Bridge. It’s a bit sunny now, but it’s nice. I really like this weather. because it has been rainy these past few days. Later, we will also go to the bamboo forest. Then we’ll go to the snack street. Back in elementary or middle school, I actually visited Arashiyama before. But I’ve already forgotten. I have zero impression of it. As soon as we entered the garden of Tenryu-ji Temple, this is Sogen Garden. This is Sogen Garden. Priyanka: Hi guys! Me: I met a new friend here. Priyanka: My name is Priyanka. Priyanka: We are meeting in Kyoto. Priyanka: She takes amazing pictures and she’s a brilliant, brilliant painter. Priyanka: Go follow her, subscribe to her channel and yeah like, share, comment. I’m now continuing to walk with my newly made friend. I’m super happy. Priyanka gave this lucky charm to me. Priyanka: This is a lucky charm for you. Priyanka: On your career, your paintings and life ahead. Priyanka: Keep traveling, keep vlogging. Priyanka: And good luck to you. Me: Thank you so much! Me: And she has an exam later. And she bought a lucky charm to pass the exam. Priyanka: And I hope both of us succeed. Priyanka: So yeah! Priyanka: To our lucky charms. Me: Yes We have now arrived at the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove. Although it looks quite beautiful from here, there are really many people. I hope we can take some nice photos. There happens to be sunlight. The overall feeling is, although it’s crowded, it feels very serene. It’s very comfortable. This is Tahoto. After visiting Tenryu-ji Temple, and then Jojakko-ji Temple, we are now preparing to go down, to go to the street we passed earlier to eat something. Because we haven’t eaten yet. I’m also very hungry. I didn’t do much prior research on nearby restaurants. So when we saw a shop with homemade udon, we came in to eat. I made a new friend at Tenryu-ji Temple. Her name is Priyanka. She gave me this omamori (lucky charm). It’s so pretty. Because she came here wearing a kimono today. And her kimono is the same as this one, both are lace. Then she said that if I see this omamori, I can remember her. How sweet. [My pumpkin tempura fell into the soup.] (snickering) Bought a very famous Meiji matcha tofu ice cream here. [This ice cream won’t fall over.]
It seems you can do it like this. I’ve already taken a few bites. The flavor on top is tofu flavor. I think the tofu flavor is really quite strong. And it’s also very creamy. [Even though I don’t usually like tofu pudding, I like this.]
The whole combination is quite delicious. [I’ve also bought things here before.] I have this at home. And this. This. And also, I think there’s also this. Isn’t it quite beautiful here too? Let me see what this place is called (I forgot its name). I remember I had it marked before. This place is called Kimono Forest. Off to today’s final sightseeing spot, Kitano Tenmangu Shrine! We have arrived. Because it’s currently the “Han Mantoro” (Half-Lantern Festival). It’s open until 8 p.m. So let’s go in and take a look now. It seems like there’s a festival inside. Or something… Not a festival. That is to say, there are some drum sounds. Kitano Tenmangu Shrine here is bigger than I imagined. So it’s quite nice to walk around. If the green leaves turned into red leaves, it would probably feel quite magnificent. The power of nature is very strong. It has a kind of healing power. I’ve been quite tired these past few days. But when I come to nature, I feel very comfortable. The bridge at a very famous photo spot. Because there is red lighting. so the overall environment is quite beautiful. Meaning, the effect after the lights are turned on makes for quite beautiful photos. But my camera and phone might not capture it well. They might be a bit blurry. Drinking a cup of tea in such cold weather is very warming. We’ve come out. This is the place where we first entered. We’re in. It’s past eight o’clock now. Having our dinner. Now we’ve ordered, two servings of yakisoba, and one okonomiyaki. But this shop is interesting. [One corner of the shop has many terrariums.]
There are many small glass tanks. [One corner of the shop has many terrariums.]
They keep many reptiles. The oysters are also very large pieces. This is the yakisoba. But I think the okonomiyaki is tastier than the yakisoba. But actually, I think this place is pretty good. Because… because every time I go to Japan, I rarely eat okonomiyaki. But I ate it once, I ate it once during a study tour in middle school. But that time it wasn’t very tasty. This time I think it’s quite delicious. This turtle’s neck is very long. Wow! Amazing! It’s like a snake. We have arrived at Eikan-do Zenrin-ji Temple. I think the autumn leaves at Eikan-do Zenrin-ji Temple, look the most beautiful for now. We have now experienced… About how many hours? It’s not that long, about one and a half to two hours. Now we’re going to Nanzen-ji. In the blink of an eye, we arrived at a restaurant. This one serves deep-fried food. Like tonkatsu, fried oysters, fried shrimp. Because we originally thought about eating near Eikando, or near Nanzen-ji. But there aren’t many restaurant choices. Also, you have to wait a long time for a table. Plus it’s raining. So now we’ve come back to the Shijo Kawaramachi area. After ordering, they give you some sesame seeds to grind yourself. [Because I used the wrong mode while recording, there is no sound at all.]
[The tonkatsu and fried shrimp are delicious, and I highly recommend trying them.] [This fried shrimp is huge.] [The soup is also delicious! It’s not ordinary miso soup!] Now we’re walking to the sukiyaki place. We’re eating again not long after we just finished that meal. Now we’re very solemnly looking forward to eating sukiyaki. Why are we eating sukiyaki? Because today is my parents’ wedding anniversary. So we’re going to celebrate. [We made a reservation in advance, and I will put the reservation link
in the description box.] First, evenly spread the oil. Then, sprinkle some sugar to add layers to the sauce that will be poured on later. Then, place tonight’s star ingredient, the beef. Next, pour on the key sauce. Then, the first type of beef makes its appearance. Now, put on the second type of beef. Continue cooking with the sauce from earlier. Finally, add the other side dishes one after another,
but don’t underestimate them because they are really delicious. [The moment I ate it, my heart was already shouting “This is so delicious!”,
but since other people were around, I could only eat excitedly in my heart.] Its sauce is so good. Mom: It’s very flavorful. Me: (Yes) very flavorful. [I think the first type of beef is tastier than the second,
but the second is also really delicious.]
It’s really delicious. [Its sauce is already great on its own, and with the other ingredients, it’s simply amazing.]
The onions are also delicious. [Its sauce is already great on its own, and with the other ingredients, it’s simply amazing.]
Because it absorbed all the sauce. This is really delicious. [This is the best and most recommended meal I’ve had in Kyoto!]
I highly recommend this restaurant. [This is the best and most recommended meal I’ve had in Kyoto!]
The meat is really flavorful. And the taste is sweet. And the texture is also very tender. [I’m already out of words, because it’s really too delicious.]
I don’t know how to describe it either. [I’m already out of words, because it’s really too delicious.]
It’s just delicious. [The final dessert.]
