Perhaps they are waiting for the perfect shot of the Enoshima Electric Railway passing by. Move. It is an ultra-luxury residential area in Shichirigahama. This area is on high ground, so it seems like it would be safe from a tsunami. Kamakura is surrounded by mountains, and is located on the west side. It’s said to be a difficult city to attack, but a mountain of this size would be easy to overcome. Horses just can’t get through. Tanabe Pond. It is said that Nichiren stood on the edge of this pond to pray for rain. We have arrived at Reikoji Temple. The gate is closed. This temple was built at the end of the Meiji period after a stone pagoda with the inscription “The former site of Nichiren Daibosatsu’s prayer for rain” was excavated. It’s a relatively new temple. A statue of Nichiren facing away. I think it would be better to prune the tree in front to improve visibility. I can’t see anything. It’s more like a normal house than a main hall. I guess it’s best not to go in too much. It’s a nice historical site, but it’s a little far from the center and not very accessible. That’s all for today. Thank you for watching. 鎌倉の海沿いを歩いている。江ノ電が通り過ぎるたび、潮の香りと鉄の響きがゆっくりと町に溶けていく。鎌倉高校前の踏切では、青い海を背景に人々が立ち止まり、その瞬間を切り取ろうとしていた。スラムダンクの物語の舞台として知られるこの場所には、映像よりも深い現実の光が流れている。坂を上がると七里ガ浜の住宅街が広がり、海を見下ろす屋根の列が静かに並んでいた。風に運ばれてくる音は、潮騒と生活の音が重なった鎌倉らしい調べだ。さらに足を進めると、田辺ヶ池の水面が揺れ、日蓮が雨乞いを祈ったという伝承がこの地の静けさを包み込む。そこから少し離れた霊光寺では、明治の終わりに発見された石塔が今もひっそりと祀られている。観光の賑わいとは異なる、暮らしの中にある祈りの気配。歩くたびに、過去と現在が交錯し、鎌倉という町の呼吸が足元から伝わってくる。
