【極レア】月2回しか開かない博物館!?軽便鉄道博物館の裏側に潜入!運転士カメラで迫力のナローゲージ走行映像!
Thank you very much for always riding with Choo-Choo Travel. We hope you have a fun time today! We’ve come to Mie Prefecture. Is that it? Mie Prefecture. Apparently, it’s only held twice a month! The Keiben Railway Museum. It’s only open twice a month, and only for six hours each time! A lot of people have gathered here. Oh! It looks like adults can ride too! Woahhhhh! It looks like a miniature version of the Hokusei Line train running beside us. Can it move even with an adult riding? It seems to pick up a decent speed. The destination sign says “Ageki”. The size difference is clear when compared to the real one next door. There is no door on the driver’s cab. How far will it go? It seems to circle around the turntable. They are adjusting the speed. It looks just like the real thing. It’s so cute. Will it loop around and return to the station? Everyone looks like they’re having fun. It looks like there are a few other vehicles too. Ohhhhhhh! A lap is over in a flash. There’s a level crossing too. Is that a bicycle in front? Looks like we’ve arrived. Next, let’s look at the bicycle type. It seems to take quite a bit of strength for the kids. It looks like you can manage once you get the hang of it. It’s called a Rail Bicycle (Kido Jitensha). It’s easy for adults, though. It’s a slightly strange sight. Can it handle curves too? Everyone is doing well! Because of the rails, you don’t feel the weight as much on the track, right? This is what it looks like when an adult pedals. The appearance is quite funny. A quick lap. And let’s check out this green one too! Is this Car No. 202? This one seems to be running on a motor. Ah! The center was also a rail! This green one is cute too. I wonder if there’s a model for this vehicle too? The running sound is the best. Super fun! It might be the best place to visit with family. The size is perfect for children. I’ll try riding it later too. It looks a bit cramped for adults. But it must still be fun. It’s amazing that the level crossing rings properly. It looks like it will take a while for my turn to come. They are comparing the track widths. There are various types, aren’t there? The points (switches) also seem to be manual. Ah, it looks like Car No. 202 is being put back in the shed. Maybe there was a vehicle issue…? Ah… The Hokusei Line seems to be departing. Even the Narrow Gauge line feels big. The time for the next departure is written here. You need to hold this fan to wait for the ride. Let’s take a ride! The style is straddling and sitting. Ohhh! This is fun! You can’t move to another car after boarding, lol The scenery looks a little different from this perspective. A big curve!!! It’s so entertaining! It looks very cute from the outside. Seeing the actual train next to it gives it a powerful feeling. The couplers are very simple, aren’t they? Glad they don’t seem like they’ll disconnect. lol We arrived in no time. It was a very enjoyable time. 12:00 to 1:00 PM is apparently lunchtime. The driver’s seat seems to be very simple. It runs on battery power! Let’s take a look at this vehicle too. I love the nostalgic, old-fashioned seats. The driving console also has a great atmosphere. It looks like there’s something like a driver’s timetable. I would have liked to see this vehicle run too. What is this…?! You can go inside this vehicle too. Retro! Since the mini-trains aren’t running, the interior is crowded! You can even enter the driver’s cab. There is no brake handle. I love the retro feeling. It was manufactured in 1931 and ran until 1983. This door was made by a local lumber shop. The interior has character. They said it’s very difficult to make the same kind of door now. The door doesn’t open. Kids today probably haven’t seen a train like this. The window design is nostalgic too. I wonder if the doors were manual? Anyway, it’s amazing that a vehicle from about 100 years ago is still intact and you can go inside. Next, let’s look at the archive room. As expected of a Light Railway Museum. It explains what a Light Railway is. I wonder if Light Railways are common around the world. It’s both a car shed and an exhibition room! They have original can badges too. Model trains are also displayed. Old items are on display too. Old historical materials are carefully preserved. These seem to be from the Hokusei Electric Railway era, the predecessor of the Hokusei Line. It seems they actually rotated an SL on the turntable earlier. Here’s the battery! Huh? It looks like a Seibu Metro car… but a monorail? lol The models are extensive. I wonder if this model was commercially sold? A model recreating the period around 1931. Limited Express Hinotori! Is this a point (switch)? Old points have such character, don’t they? They’ve kept it well. Amazing. A trip on the Hokusei Line looks interesting too. The tracks! Please come and visit! Well, is the lunch break over? Let’s ride the green one. We hand this to the next person before getting on. Here we go. Ohhh! This one is fun too! Since it only has window frames, I wonder what happens on a rainy day. They must put a lot of effort into vehicle and track maintenance. I’m so grateful that we can ride for free despite all the hard work they put in. Please do come and visit to show your support! You don’t often get to see the wheels up close while running, do you? Is straddling the car for vehicle balance? Passing trains is exciting too!! The scenery passing by is nice! A lap is over quickly. Maybe I should move into the building next door. lol It was a fun trip. There are many people waiting to ride, so let’s switch. Oh dear, it looks like it’s going back into the shed. I wonder if riding this vehicle is rare? It’s nice that the track switching is manual. The motor sound of the Hokusei Line is great. Wow, they filmed the driving for us!! Ohhh! It’s almost the same as a normal train!! We’ll deliver this uncut, so enjoy it as if you were the driver! The motor sound is great! The motor sound when accelerating is irresistible! I wanted to see the parallel running too. Is the thing sticking out on the right a speed gauge? Ohhh! It was a fun time!! Next, let’s ride the “Rail Bicycle”! Does it feel like a normal bicycle? Oh, it’s true that the initial movement requires a bit of technique. This is so much fun!!!! This could become addictive. You have to slow down a bit on the curves… Many people are waving at us! I ended up ringing the bell too much, sorry… It’s so much fun!!!! It was a great time! We can enjoy riding thanks to the maintenance efforts of the staff! Thank you. Thank you for the wonderful time! It’s a shame to go home. I’ll watch this video again! There’s a retro bus here! It says “JNR” (Japanese National Railways)! It’s retro and cute. Since we’re here, let’s say goodbye with a final driving clip! This is different from the previous footage, so please enjoy it again! Ohhh! The motor sound is roaring! I wish I could drive it someday. Everyone dreams of becoming a train driver, right! Please be careful when you visit, as it’s only held twice a month! Thank you to everyone who cooperated with the filming!! We hope they continue operating for a long time to come! Thank you very much for riding with us until the final stop!
