2025年大阪万博:7つのクールな未来型パビリオン
If you want to know the best pavilions to visit at the World Expo, this is the video for you. We’re Minjin and Kevin, and after visiting over 120 countries and over 50 pavilions, we’re sharing our top seven futuristic pavilions that perfectly capture the expo’s theme. Designing future society for our lives. If you love futuristic technology, AI, or robot horses, yes, really, then keep watching because some of these will blow your mind. Now, before we dive into the top seven, here are three bonus futuristic experiences that didn’t quite make our list, but are still worth checking out. One, Future Life Village. This walk-in area pavilion has cool experiences you can sign up for, like these robot chairs that can literally drive you around the expo. Number two, Osaka Healthcare. We weren’t able to get a reservation, so we only got to see the free portion of the pavilion, which is a lab grown IPS heart on display and a human washing machine. Three, advanced air mobility station. Here you can get a photo op with a flying car. It’s sleek, futuristic, and surprisingly roomy inside. Now, let’s get to the good stuff. Our seven favorite futuristic pavilions that truly wowed us. First up is Persona Natureverse. This sea shell shaped pavilion blends sci-fi with hell technology that can save future lives. One of the highlights is the lab grown IPS heart that pumps in real time. It’s based on real stem cell technology and could one day regenerate weak and damaged hearts. And if you know the famous half robot, half human anime character Astro Boy, he’s the pavilion’s mascot. And in one simulation, he’s actually revived using this exact IPS heart technology by the legendary surgeon Blackjack. Another futuristic health technology are these beds that will keep track of your biometrics and analyze your sleep patterns. You can actually test them out in person. There are also interactive simulations you can do to test out new future medical technologies like how doctors can use robots and flying operating rooms to do surgeries in the future. This is located near the Westgate and while there’s a walk-in line, you can also try to get a reservation to skip the line. And speaking of technology that feels straight out of a sci-fi movie, that brings us to number two, Future City. This pavilion is all about innovations with lots of unique interactive exhibits that showcase future technologies that could improve everyday life, like this horse robot by Kawasaki that people can ride and go hiking and explore high up in the mountains. We also learned about sustainable way to build future cities by using special concrete that can trap CO2 emissions. Autonomous farming robots that can grow and harvest sustainable food, even underwater robots that can be used to protect ocean habitats and build renewable energy sources. Of course, Maku Maku is in the driver’s seat. There are also cute games and simulations you can play to learn what farming will look like in the future, new ways of creating renewable energy, and how AI and drones can help watch over workers and the environment. Kevin got a little too competitive the first round though, so the other kids couldn’t learn anything. You can also get a free souvenir that inspires you to think about your role in making the future better. This is located in the future life zone near the west gate. We are lucky and only waited 15 minutes to walk in, but you can also make a reservation via the lottery. Which invention would you want in your city? Tell us in the comments below. Okay, time to slow things down and get reflective because this next one really made us think, and that’s number three, Future of Life. The Future of Life Pavilion goes deep on the emotional side of technology and explores how humans and robots might coexist in the future. It follows the emotional story of a young girl and her grandma with a grandma wrestling with the idea of uploading her memories into a robot body so she can continue to watch over her family or to pass away peacefully as a human. Along the way, we also saw different ways robots and humans could coexist in the future with robot TV talk show host to a father and young child using robot bodies to climb Mount Everest, something that human bodies wouldn’t be able to normally handle, as well as robots dancing to artistic choreography. This one is a reservationonly pavilion located in the signature zone, but there is a wait list you can join here day of which will notify you if someone cancels and a spot opens up so you can get a ticket. Now, if you’re feeling inspired, let’s move into the future of city living in smart homes with number four, IDA Group and Asaka Metropolitan University. This pavilion blew us away with a 3D model of a smart city focused on wellness and sustainability with features like self-driving cars and renewable energy sources. There’s even nine yaku hiding in the city that are fun to find. The main technology they showcase here is artificial photosynthesis, which uses energy from the sun to turn carbon dioxide into clean hydrogen energy, which can be used to power electricity and heat in homes and cities. There’s also a smart house inside with smart fridges, smart toilets, etc. that can use your data and AI to make recommendations about how to live a healthier life. This is located near the west gate in this futuristic but still traditional inspired red lantern building covered in luxurious silk kimono fabric from Kyoto which actually won two Guinness World Records. You can walk in or make a reservation for this pavilion. If you’re finding this helpful so far, hit the like button so more expo travelers can see this. And if you love this kind of futuristic sneak peek, hit subscribe because we got more expo and Japan travel content coming up in the following weeks. Okay, this next one is a little wild and might just give you an extra arm. At number five, Switzerland. This pavilion showcases a lot of unique future technologies that will impact our future lives. Like these deep fake videos that use AI to turn us into Swiss people living in the mountains. Edible robot gummy bears that can dance. Even a wearable robot arm that can be your third arm when you’re trying to multitask. The entire pavilion was even built with new lightweight and sustainable technologies. The rooms are modular spheres that can be recycled or reused after the expo. And they use lots of plants inside to offset the pavilion’s carbon footprint. This pavilion is available for walk-in and is located in the empowering live zone. Would you try wearing a robot arm while cooking or working? Now, let’s keep the robots coming with one that might actually walk you to your next stop. At number six, robot and mobility. This pavilion has lots of cool hands-on exhibits like this AI suitcase. It’s like a robot guide dog and was created to be the eyes of the visually impaired. When you put your hand on the handle, you can talk to it and ask it to take you to one of the pavilions. It uses radar sensors and cameras to safely walk you and stops and goes around if it senses any traffic or obstacles. You can even ask it questions like chat GBT while walking. And you can make a reservation to try it out here and you can choose demonstrations ranging from 60 to 90 minutes. And bonus tip, if you book the AI suitcase demo, you can skip the line for the rest of the pavilion. Otherwise, you can walk in. This is located between the France and Vietnam pavilions on the East Gate side. Now, let’s wrap things up with something we can all get excited about. Future food at number seven, Earthmark, where we saw sustainable sushi made from climate resilient fish being served by virtual master chef Judel. 3D food printers that use food ink to make food. Even a cooking recording studio that allows you to record video of you explaining how to make a dish so people can cook with you. To new types of grains and rice that are more nutritious and easier to cook, and also new types of frozen food that minimize food waste and is more enjoyable to eat. There’s even inventions from kids for new types of future foods like ice cream that stays cold in the summer and it’s hot in the winter. They even gave us this coupon to redeem for a jar of umeoshi pickled plums in the year 2050. This pavilion is reservation only and located in the signature zone in the middle of the expo near the forest of tranquility. These were our top seven favorite futuristic pavilions, but this is just one side of the expo. If you’re into visually appealing immersive light shows or nature inspired exhibits, we’ll be sharing those two in upcoming videos. If this video helped you plan your expo trip, give it a like so others can find it, too. And don’t forget to subscribe to Minjin and Kevin if you want more insider tips, pavilion highlights, and our overall experience and thoughts at the Asaka World Expo.

Great Video! We just finished our Osaka Expo content. Still can't believe we were able to experience this incredible event!!!!
You guys are such losers…you turned off comments on the video where you're trashing Budapest, because tou were simply too stupid to figure out the straightforward easy public transportation ticket issue. Literally the easiest thing to do….but nooooo…your idiotic selves have to trashtalk an amazing city with endless interesting places and tons of history, culture, architecture, etc….just because you are dumb to figure out the tickets.
I bought tickets for 3 day visit next month, won Mitsubishi and Korea pavilion. Didnt win on 3rd day. Now waiting for the 7 day lottery tickets
