【マレーシア絶景水上コテージ】レクシスハイビスカス🌺プール&サウナ付き客室で過ごす海外旅Vlog|ポートディクソン

Day 2 of our journey across the Malay Peninsula
We depart from Malacca and head towards Port Dickson We’ll travel about 70km by car. Ride services are cheap even for long distances in Malaysia, so it’s really convenient! The scenery along the Strait of Malacca was truly beautiful Arrived at today’s hotel after about 1 hour and 50 minutes Bye-bye
Thank you for coming all this way I found this place while planning my Malaysia trip and wanted to stay here, so I came to Port Dickson I was captivated by the water cottages arranged in the shape of a hibiscus We get around the hotel by buggy. I booked a Panorama Ocean View room because I wanted to relax. Apparently, higher-grade rooms check in at a different location, so we’re moving over. Check-in complete. Seems we can use the lounge.
We were guided to evening cocktails (light snacks). A variety of beautifully presented dishes ♩
I decided to have dinner here tonight. Going out to eat seems like a hassle, so I’m lucky I can use the lounge. Calling a buggy to head back to my room. Room 420 The bed is super spacious All these waterfront cottages come with private pools Here’s the pool.
And the Strait of Malacca~ Outside, there’s even a sauna. It’s a steam sauna~ It’s incredibly beautiful Over here is the washroom~
Two of them Bathroom with a bathtub All the amenities are provided The sea below The Strait of Malacca
I wonder if fish swim by? This is the restroom. It’s spacious. Nice! Beautiful. Having that view of the Strait of Malacca is seriously amazing. I came to Port Dickson just to relax and gaze at the sea. Not to do anything, but to do nothing. In this room with the sea stretching out before me, I gently let go of the flow of time. This kind of “doing nothing time” feels like the greatest reward of travel. The moment I stepped outside, the entire sky was ablaze orange.
I witnessed the instant the world was dyed by the setting sun. The orange light is too beautiful.
An incredible sunset. It sank in the blink of an eye… Turning back, there appeared a natural phenomenon said to symbolize good fortune:
A double rainbow. When was the last time I saw a sunset this fiery? The sunset sinking into the Strait of Malacca was truly spectacular here too. In one corner of the room, a qibla sign indicating the direction of prayer. That small mark conveys the depth of faith held by the people living here. Heating up the sauna and stepping inside Heating up the sauna and cooling off in the pool Feeling a little peckish, I eat the rice I brought This is so delicious I always bring it when traveling abroad No cups available, so I poured shiitake tea into a glass It’s really handy when you just want a little something to eat. Last night was hot, so I turned on the AC,
but it felt dusty somehow and messed up my throat… Waking up to see the ocean right in front of my bed is the best morning ever. You’re full of energy even in the morning~ Looks like there are all sorts of activities too
I just don’t have the stamina for that first thing in the morning All the drinks in the fridge are free,
but as expected of the tropics, they’re way too sweet… Fifteen minutes after calling for the buggy, they finally came to pick us up. For breakfast, we could choose between the main dining room and the lounge, so we decided to try the main one today. The buffet breakfast was mainly halal cuisine. I picked things that looked edible, but they didn’t suit my taste and I couldn’t even finish half… Cleaned my palate with fruit and donuts.
Tomorrow I’ll try the lounge breakfast. Heading to the observation deck. The restaurant bar with the panoramic view
unexpectedly only opens in the evening… Desperately taking photos from the restroom window lol
I’ll bring my 360 camera tomorrow… The second floor has facilities like a deck, karaoke, spa, and kids’ world, but everything was closed… (It was past 11:00, but no sign of opening) I could see a little bit of the whole place from the deck on the back side of the second floor I wondered if there were no guests, but it seems they’re currently building a second building, as there was a real estate counter. Heading back to the room by buggy.
The sadness of the nice rooms being far away and buggies being hard to catch… Today I’ll spend the whole day in my room looking at the sea. The book I want to read in the Malacca Strait is definitely Midnight Express. Feeling the sky and sea breeze change with the sun’s position,
a luxurious time flowing slowly. Watching fish swim by Alternating between the sauna and the pool Simply savoring every moment here Called a buggy to head into town a bit The sunset is beautiful again today School trip students, perhaps?
The lobby was packed with tour groups. Only the area under the trees was dyed red by the sun. I came to do a little laundry. Exchanging cash for coins
(Only accepts notes up to 10RM) A week’s worth of laundry from Singapore to today
Looks like I can get by with just one laundry session during the trip This seems like downtown Port Dickson A rural town in Malaysia
Like Malacca too I think this place is way more rural than Malacca, but the feel of the buildings is really similar to Cambodia Wandering around town while waiting for the laundry to finish Back at the laundromat, I start the dryer Had a meal nearby while waiting for the dryer to finish. Tried a cafe that looked stylish. The bread looked delicious, but I ordered a drink and two types of pasta:
Soup & Garlic Toast. Malaysia really is cheap!
This would cost three times as much in Singapore. Since the laundry was open until 8 PM, I had him pick up the laundry on the way. Had dessert at the ice cream shop next door after the meal. 70 yen per scoop! It was a firm, refreshing vanilla and delicious ♩ Called a Grab to head back to the hotel. Our last night in Port Dickson. The hotel front desk took quite a while to get back to me, but My nose and throat got messed up by the AC
(probably house dust) I contacted them via the Booking.com email, and they said they’d change my room, so I’m getting a room change now I’ll be sleeping over there tonight
So, for now, goodbye to this room They gave me a new room~ Probably the same layout.
It has a bath too. Ah, but the smell is amazingly good.
Totally different from the last room. Huh? Did the pool get bigger too?
Nice. No bugs floating at all.
(Maybe they cleaned it after I complained?) The sauna smells amazing too now. The sea view seems a bit narrower now, but if I can sleep comfortably, that’s enough. I’m surprised the smell is so different in this room. These cushions are spotless too—what’s going on here… I wish they’d given me this room from the start… Well, at least it looks like I’ll get a good night’s sleep It’s already late, but
I was able to fully enjoy the room on my last night. The morning sea was quietly rough. It cleared up in an instant.
The sea’s weather is truly unpredictable. Today I’ll try breakfast in the lounge. They have Yakult ♩ Breakfast is on a whole different level compared to yesterday The staff even prepare and portion out the salad for you. Everything is delicious. I regret not coming here yesterday. The room I switched to was incredibly comfortable. Alright, heading to Putrajaya now. Just called the buggy. It’ll take a bit to arrive, so I’ll wait and head out. Thank you. The time spent in the Strait of Malacca was a heart-filling, luxurious moment. I’ll call a Grab and head out. Thank you for watching until the end.
