秋日・白山・驚艷的深山公路美景|33號公路紅葉巡禮|日本鮮為人知的賞楓祕境
Preview This is the Shiramine area in Hakusan City, Ishikawa Prefecture. This small village, nestled deep in the mountains, is one of Japan’s most renowned heavy snowfall areas. It still preserves its unique traditional wooden architecture. And it has been designated by the Agency for Cultural Affairs as an Important Preservation District for Groups of Traditional Buildings. There’s a video of our winter trip to Shiramine in the description—feel free to check it out! Next, we’ll start our trip! For this trip, we traveled along Ishikawa Prefectural Route 33 into the mountains, enjoying the autumn scenery in the valleys of the Hakusan area along the way. The full name of Route 33 is Ishikawa Prefectural Route 33 Hakusan Park Line. Its endpoint is the Shiramine village we just passed. The starting point is the Hakusan trailhead, Bettodeai. It’s a quiet mountain road stretching 18.7 kilometers, winding along valleys and forests. The distant Hakusan mountain range is already capped with some snow. We can see the Hakusan main peak covered in snow! Mt. Hakusan viewpoint Mt. Hakusan Ahead is the Ichinose Visitor Center, which closes for the winter starting in November. The Bessandō Trailhead is also nearby. The weirs on the upper reaches of the Tedori River. Although man-made, they blend beautifully with the natural surroundings. A golden tunnel surrounded by autumn colors. The mountain road is quite narrow, so be especially careful when passing other vehicles. We’re lucky to have such perfect weather today! The blue sky and bright sunlight make the autumn leaves shine even more brilliantly. The next stretch of road, in my opinion, has the most spectacular scenery. We found a spot to park and got out to enjoy the view. We drove slowly, enjoying the brilliant autumn leaves along the way. This road is regulated during both winter and summer. In winter. In winter, it is closed to all traffic from mid-November to late April. During peak summer holidays, private vehicles are restricted, and visitors must use shuttle buses. Arrived at the Bettōdeai (Hakusan trailhead) parking lot. The signboard has been covered, getting ready for winter. Let’s go check out the trailhead. We’ve arrived at the Bettodeai Trailhead Center. The torii ahead seems to symbolize entering a sacred mountain area. The suspension bridge at the Sabo Shindō trailhead is closed during this period. Kanko Shindo Trailhead The Bettodeai Trailhead Center is now closed for the winter season. I didn’t expect to see snow on the ground already! Next, we start heading back. Enjoying the romantic autumn leaves once again. The autumn foliage of Hakusan is truly beautiful. I hope this video can share the seasonal beauty and feelings with everyone. Thank you for watching the video all the way to the end!
