อ่างทอง จังหวัดที่หลายคนขับผ่านแต่มีความลับบางอย่างซ่อนไว้ | VLOG

Do you know where the largest Buddha image in Thailand is located? This is a province that you might not have thought about. Some people might just pass through , but in fact, this place has many unseen attractions. For example, an abandoned temple covered with Bodhi roots , creating a unique unseen sight. Look at it, it was built in a way that could not have been created by humans. Or the large reclining Buddha, which was even included in the province’s motto . And the unique octagonal pagoda, unlike any other temple in Thailand. And of course, the largest Buddha image in Thailand is located here. And all of this is the unseen of Ang Thong Province. Hello everyone, I’m now in a province that many people might not think of as a tourist attraction or anything. They might just drive past it. This is Ang Thong. Today, we’ll take you to see Unseen Ang Thong. I have to say that Ang Thong is a province that is historically important, dating back to ancient times. It ‘s full of interesting temples. And of course, when we travel, we have to drive and stop for gas, right? For peace of mind, on this trip, we have a great helper that will make your gas stop even more special. We’ll tell you about it in this clip. But right now, we’re at the hotel. We slept here last night, and the hotel has a cafe, so we thought we’d stop for a coffee and then head out. Ang Thong is a small province in our central region. If we look back at its history, it has been around since the Dvaravati period. And when it came to the Ayutthaya era, Ang Thong was a city on the outskirts of the capital. So, there are quite a few historical stories connected to it. This is because it is a low-lying area resembling a basin, suitable for rice farming. When the rice is ripe, it turns a beautiful golden yellow, which matches the provincial emblem of a bowl containing the rice stalks. This symbolizes the abundance of this area. Ang Thong is also famous for its Thai handicrafts, such as royal dolls , which are clay dolls made since the time of King Rama IV, which are hard to find these days. Or try the traditional Thai drums. The Ekkarat Drum Village is considered the most famous producer of Thai drums in the country, and they’ve been passed down for hundreds of years. I ‘d also like to say that Ang Thong has a lot of ancient temples. Many of them date back to the Ayutthaya period. Normally, when talking about ancient temples, many people would think of Ayutthaya first, right? But in fact, Ang Thong is no less beautiful. It’s also far from Bangkok. It’s also easy to get to, just like Ayutthaya. Let’s go see what each temple in Ang Thong is like. We’ve arrived, the real Unseen Ang Thong. Wat Muang. It’s a landmark because there’s Luang Pho Yai here. It’s a very large Buddha statue, over 90 meters tall , extremely large, the largest in Thailand. He’s called Pinko. He said it’s the largest in Thailand , but it’s really large. When you look at it , you’ll be like, ” Look!” When talking about famous temples in Ang Thong, many people must think of this temple. This is Wat Muang. I must say that this temple is believed to have been built since the late Ayutthaya period. However, after the fall of Ayutthaya for the second time, it was abandoned for a long time. It wasn’t until 1983 that it was renovated and monks started staying there. The temple gradually developed until it became what we see today. The most outstanding point of this temple is Luang Pho Yai, which is the largest Buddha statue in Thailand. It took a full 16 years to build, from 1991 to 2007. The Buddha image is approximately 95 meters tall , comparable to a 30-story building. You can see it from afar if you look at it, or stand close to it, and you’ll feel as tiny as an ant. The full name of this large Buddha image is Phra Phuttha Maha Nawaminthra Sakyamuni Si Wiset Chai Chan. Locals believe that if you want good things to happen in your life, you should go and make a wish and touch the tip of his finger. This faith has led people to continuously come to pay their respects. Unfortunately, when I went, the Buddha image was being renovated. So, I couldn’t touch the tip of the Buddha image. However, I could take photos from a distance like this. This is the Phra Wihan Kaew Ratana Brahman-Suwannapal. Take off your shoes and go in. Wow, it’s all made of glass. It looks like they’re probably repairing it because the area around it has been painted yellow. It’s not gold yet. And there are awnings everywhere, which means you can’t get close. This is like what’s written on the sign that says, “When you sin, when you die, you steal someone else’s husband. Your tongue will be long, layperson. Watch out.” And of course, at this height, it can only be nothing more than a hungry ghost . Another popular spot for taking photos is behind the temple. We can go to the road behind the temple. Let’s go check it out because it’s a road and you can see the large Buddha image from behind. This is the back. It ’s very beautiful. But let’s take some photos in a moment. Here, drive a little closer. We just went behind the temple, right? Now we’re in front of the temple. There’s a cafe. It’s like a farm cafe. Come have coffee and you’ll see the giant Buddha image in the back . In the background, it’s beautiful. And this is Uaeng Ai, Jubjang, and Yen Yen. Hey, that Silky Chicken is cute . It’s an imported chicken. Can chickens understand Thai? It’s like a dog . Oh, it looks like a dog, like a dog with two legs. They have food and cake here , but today we’re here to sit and have a drink. One person, one order. It’s also pet-friendly . A minimalist cafe with a photo corner . They also have a pavilion for relaxing. There’s a cafe bridge on this bridge. If anyone flies a drone by, no, you’ll see a temple on the bridge. You can go sit. I’ll go order first. Here, there’s one very beautiful spot here, which is a wooden bridge extending into the rice fields. Normally, when the rice fields are growing high, it’s very beautiful. But right now, it looks like the rice has only just grown a little bit. But that’s okay. Hey, black dog , black dog, here everyone. Wow, it looks very chill. Let’s go sit at the end of the bridge and let the team take pictures. And then we come to another unseen place in Ang Thong Province. This is Wat Sang Kratai. Actually, they say that it’s a temple that is assumed to have been built in the early Ayutthaya period. About 400 years ago, it was abandoned, everyone. It was around 200 years since the second fall of Ayutthaya. The Fine Arts Department registered Wat Sang Kratai as ancient site number 104. Many people are confused. How can I remember the information so precisely? I just read the sign. That’s it. The next temple is Wat Sang Kratai. Actually, it was originally called Wat Sam Kratai. But as time passed, people changed the name to Sang Kratai like today . Actually, I think Sam Kratai is easier to call. The highlight of this temple is the ubosot (ordination hall) that is completely covered by Bodhi tree roots. Seeing it gives off a very ancient and mystical atmosphere. It is believed that this temple is more than 400 years old. In the past, monks lived there as usual. But eventually, it became deserted because legend has it that the monks in this temple often quarreled with each other until they could not coexist and had to move away. Therefore, the temple has been abandoned for a long time. However, even today, villagers still come to pay their respects. In the past, the Buddha image inside the ubosot was beheaded and piled on the floor. However, it was later renovated and repaired. Until it returns to being complete again. And inside, there is also a statue of Grandfather Rishi for people to come and pay homage. It is an abandoned temple. Everyone looks at the chapel. It is made of trees. It is all attached to the trees and then it is all part of the chapel. Please take off your shoes. This is Luang Por Kaen. People will come to pay homage and ask for blessings. There will be prayers and other things. But it is very beautiful because the back is like a natural fortress. It was created because of the tree roots behind the Buddha image. Look, they grew in a way that humans could not have built. Everyone look at the back. Do you see it? It looks like a wall . There is already a wall. But I mean when the roots grow up… Every molecule is layered and layered until it’s full. At first, I thought it was all gone. There’s another room. Wow, the entrance is well-designed. There are trees, Grandfather Ginseng and Grandfather Naga. Let’s go eat. I’ll drive. They said that in Ang Thong, we tried to find many great restaurants. But there’s one restaurant that I want to eat because they said it’s homemade noodles, handmade or something like that. Not far from here , they have noodles with red pork, crispy pork or something like that. Actually, nowadays I like to open TikTok and look at people’s reviews of great restaurants or something like that . I’ll follow their footsteps to see if it’s really delicious. For someone like me who drives all the time, wherever I go, having a full tank of gas is definitely more reassuring . I always stop to fill up at Bangchak gas stations. No matter which province I travel to, I can find Bangchak because they now have more than 2,100 branches nationwide. In addition to having a lot of branches, their gas is high-quality. Plus, right now it’s very special because Bangchak is giving special privileges to Bangchak Green Miles members without having to buy a card. The more gas you fill up, the more you level up. They have divided membership levels according to your gas lifestyle. Starting with Bangchak Green Miles. If you’re a frequent driver and frequently fill up with standard gas stations like me, you can upgrade to a Green Miles Pro member. This level offers more privileges, such as half-price drinks at Inthanin, discounts on premium gas stations , and special dining, shopping, and travel privileges, such as restaurant discounts and online shopping discounts. You can also use fewer points than entry-level Green Miles members to redeem movie tickets at Major Cineplex. For those who frequently fill up with premium gas stations, you’ll be upgraded to Green Miles Premium, which is a great value because you’ll get even more privileges. These include a free drink from Inthanin every month, free access to the Coral Lounge at the airport, and discounts on car care and free car washes. Entry-level Green Miles members can also benefit from accumulated points when filling up at Bangchak stations or buying drinks. And you can also purchase products at Inthanin stores. 100 points are equal to 20 baht, which can be exchanged for discounts on gas at Inthanin stores or partners, and many other special privileges. It can be seen that Bangchak has thought that no matter what your lifestyle is , being a Bangchak Green Miles member is already worth it. The more you fill up at Bangchak Green Miles, the more you level up. Don’t forget to download and log in to the Bangchak app. In the app, we can see what level our current member is, how much more gas we need to fill up to level up , and we can also claim various privileges via the app. We’ve arrived. We’re at this restaurant, Tang Tang Ah. As soon as we arrived, the uncle asked if we wanted steamed dumplings. This is what they look like. They don’t look very colorful, but we’ll try them first. We make them ourselves. They ‘re really, really, really delicious . Oh my, the noodles are so good. I’m full now. I’ll tell you that they’re really delicious. The steamed dumplings are delicious. The noodles are delicious. The crispy pork is delicious, which I especially like. Come and try it. There aren’t many people because it’s normal for there to be few people in Ang Thong. Many people might not have come to visit seriously. Come and visit. Next, we’ll stop at a cafe. We’ll probably stop at 2-3 more temples. Okay, so everyone seems to think there are too many temples , but in fact, they’re all interesting and great for taking pictures. Let’s go to Bhum Cafe, which is nearby. We stopped by just in case anyone wants to grab a snack or something. It’s like a house, in a Thai style , but with a bit of a cool twist. Many people have probably heard that Ang Thong is the city of two reclining Buddhas, because that sentence is in the province’s motto. And one of the reclining Buddhas in that motto is the Reclining Buddha at Wat Khun Inthaprom. This is considered one of the province’s famous temples. It is assumed that it was built since the Sukhothai period. The reclining Buddha image is very large, measuring 50 meters in length . It was originally enshrined in a viharn (ordination hall). However, the viharn was later destroyed by a fire, leaving only the Buddha image that we see today. The importance of this reclining Buddha image lies in the fact that many kings in the past have come to pay homage , demonstrating how sacred and highly revered this place is. As for the origin of the name Khun Inthaprom, according to legend, it comes from the name of a tax collector who used government funds to build a reclining Buddha image. He was punished by being whipped to death. Later, people named the temple after him. Today, the temple also has a statue of Khun Inthaprom for people to pay homage to. This is the reclining Buddha image. They say that the stumps of the pillars you see are from a fire. Look at this. When we get close to the elbow area, which is the point where the bed is supported, they will paste gold leaf and people will stick coins together. There are baht coins and other coins stuck all over. Oops, there are carved letters. It is a stone slab, and many of them are broken. Oh, and on the cloth, they have written the names of people who donated. It is a family. And at the soles of the feet Usually, people come to worship here. You see? They’ve made nice cushions to sit on and put gold on them. They also put coins on them. This side is behind the Buddha image. It’s a very large , high wall. Imagine if the temple still existed in the past. Wow, it must be very beautiful if it were covered up. But when it’s exposed like this, it’s even more beautiful and looks sacred. The main structure is like broken pillars. There’s also an octagonal pagoda, which is cute. Come visit the temple a lot. My friend said it’s similar to Wat Sangkratai, which is the chapel. But this one has a roof. There are trees, but not as many. Wow, the inside is also very sacred. This is Wat Tha It. Actually, it wasn’t in the plan at first. But we saw this pagoda from afar and we felt that the chedi and relics are very beautiful. So we looked for information. Tha It is assumed that it is like a brick kiln . The bricks used to build Wat Khun Inthaprom are bricks kiln from here. Later, this was the temple we drove past and thought it looked interesting. So we wanted to introduce everyone to it. This is Wat Tha It. This temple is considered to be another ancient temple since the Ayutthaya period. They say that before it became a temple, this area used to be a brick factory. People would transport bricks from here to build various buildings , and one of them was Wat Khun Inthaprom. After the temple was built, it was named Wat Tha It. The highlight of the temple is the Phra That Chedi Si Pho Thong, a unique and unusual octagonal chedi that combines elements of Sri Lanka, Ayutthaya , and Rattanakosin. It was built in 1992, replacing the original, which had become damaged. More importantly, it houses the relics of the Lord Buddha. Okay, we’re back in the car. Just now, the monks came to lock up the temple. It’s 3:00 PM. It’s beautiful. There aren’t many reviews for this temple . I don’t know, or maybe I’ve never seen it before, but it’s beautiful. Let’s go to another spot. The next spot is actually a great place to visit. In Ang Thong, you can take a boat trip. There’s a route that starts here and goes to Ayutthaya and back , or you can stop at various temples from here, like a community-style experience. It takes about two hours to get off at Wat Bang Chak , but we’ll only go to Wat Bang Chak. We won’t be taking the boat because it would take 2 hours, which is too long, so today we won’t be taking it. So let’s go. And this is a One Day Trip to Ang Thong Province. I have to say that this is one province that many people might normally just drive through, not stopping to visit anything. But you see, there are unseen things that you might not know exist here. So, whoever wants to come visit Ang Thong. Driving from Bangkok, if you live in Bangkok, you can visit in just an hour. For those of you who drive or travel frequently like us, no matter what your lifestyle is, you must be a Bangchak Green Miles member. I must say that Bangchak has upgraded its level. Or upgraded to a new membership level. The more you fill up, the more benefits you will get. Don’t forget to download the Bangchak application and log in. We can use our membership level or points and receive various benefits. You can also claim the benefits right away. It’s very convenient . Sometimes they have special activities like the Green Challenge for us to complete missions to receive discounts or free gifts. If you don’t have it yet, hurry up and sign up. Accumulate points and then level up. Last night, we drove from Bangkok to Ang Thong. We slept there first. But actually, I think we can drive to Ang Thong in the morning and return in the evening because it’s a nearby province that’s easy to travel to. You’ll also know that it has unseen attractions like this. For those who like this clip, don’t forget to like, share, and subscribe to us. Today, I drove back. Of course, I would like to leave Yen here. Goodbye .
