  1. Consider reviewing your supply of adjectives. Not everything in the world, and frankly, much of Raffles, is not bombastic. Refined, delicate, peaceful, nice, straight out of Pottery Barn, intricate, damascene, lacey, restrained…

How is "curated" better than "well chosen" or "suitable"? Was an actual curator involved or just some interior decorator? How is it that the menu at McDonalds is not "curated"?

  2. One of my favourite cities. Need to return soon. Thanks for the reminder. As usual, great effort by you 🎉

  3. This is getting boring. This is the fourth raffles video I’ve seen this year. So many other amazing hotels in Singapore but they all go to the overpriced tourist trap. 😢

  4. Intro music is a memory. What a place! A quiet elegance. A vibe of mine. Until they opened the restaurants! Oh, my … so loud! I loved the fountain and wished it was in my backyard 😊!! I also liked the museum house and learning about the sound! Thumbs up on the tub! I would try that white peony tea offered at your afternoon tea, perhaps with a little lemon tea cake ❤. I'd be feeling positively civilized! 😊
Thank you for taking us on a visit to this lovely hotel, dear LTE. The music was perfectly suited, my friend. As well as for next weeks trailer! You're pretty brilliant that way … 😊.

  5. This place is charming and really beautiful. Wow! I love the architectural aspects of it, from the beautiful pillars to the arches and stairs. Very very nice and I’ve never been there but I think your video did it justice LTE! Thank you for sharing this slice of heaven with us. 😊

  6. What a shame Raffles is surrounded by tall, bland, ugly buildings. Raffles featured prominently in a TV series, Tenko, filmed in the 80s about Singapore in WWII.

  7. What classic elegance! Thank you for choosing to stay at Raffles, filming it so beautifully, and offering your video to us with such wonderful music.

  8. If you want something quieter, Raffles is on a completely different level. Marina Bay Sands is iconic, yes but Raffles has that calm, understated excellence I prefer. Singapore just hits different for me. I love this city.”

  9. I am thrilled to express my genuine appreciation for the incredible content you have created. Your videos are absolutely phenomenal and bring me immense joy and entertainment. The quality, creativity, and passion you demonstrate in your work are truly remarkable and have left an indelible impression on me. I cannot emphasize enough how much I adore and look forward to your engaging video content.

  10. Your videos are just amazing. Thank you very much to let us travelling with you. Best regards from Switzerland 🇨🇭😊

  11. OMG ! My favorite hotel ! Hope someday i Will go there ! And as always beautiful video !!!! 🔥🔥🔥
    Thank you 🙏🙏

  12. Horrible room. Not impressed at all. No wonder the place seems deserted. Singapore in 2025 has so many better options… IMHO.

  13. Thanks for this video. We have been lucky enough to stay at Raffles twice. First time was the John Wayne suite which was really special. Hopefully go back again soon

  14. What a tranquil oasis! We only visited the public boutique and arcades back in 2016, cause we stayed at the Marina Bay Sands for the pool. We came from Bintan, where we visited the first (small) luxury hotel in our life: The Sanchaya, shortly after opening. There's where i became invected with the luxury hotel virus😅

  15. Hmmmm….(clears throat)………you didn't edit out the doorman greeting you by name ? Another masterpiece here by the Son of Scorcese, the incomparable Dr LTE. Which reminds me, have you visited The Peninsula Hong Kong ?

  16. I've been waiting for this one. Definitely on the bucket list (fingers crossed). It didn't disappoint

  17. Now this is more like it! Loved the video. Hope to visit this hotel one day. Truly historic.

  18. I’ve stayed in both, but to be honest I prefer the Peninsula in Hong Kong. The Oriental in Bangkok is also spectacular (or at least it was when I stayed there).

  19. Have you ever been to the Mountain Washington Hotel owned by Omni Resorts, in New Hampshire. It’s way better than this. I got you beat 😂
