贵州黔东南苗年超震撼!苗族盛装万人巡游、万人长桌宴,大饱眼福和口服!你明年想来吗?🇨🇳

! A lively and joyous day ! Haha, you can smell the aroma of black-haired pork and cured meat from afar . Is that a bull in a competition? Yes, it hasn’t started yet.
Wow ,
such a strong bull! Such strong homemade wine! The signs are already up! Today, besides the Miao ethnic group’s 10,000-person parade , there’s also a Miao long table banquet . I wanted to see what the Miao people eat at their long table banquet. I’ve had a Hani long table banquet in Yunnan before. The picture below shows the Miao New Year and Miao unity dance in Leishan County. This refrigerated truck seems to have brought the tables and chairs for today’s long table banquet. There’s also Changwang noodles. I like Changwang noodles because they ‘re chewy . After leaving the Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village in Qiandongnan, Guizhou (the location of the previous two episodes ), I took a ride to Leishan County (Danjiang Town), about 30 kilometers away. Wow, this broth smells so good! This is breakfast today! Breakfast should be good! Wow, why is there so much Sichuan peppercorn? It feels like the Sichuan peppercorn is from the minced meat . The noodles are quite delicious, and the soup is especially flavorful. This bowl of minced meat noodles is truly delicious and affordable—just 7 yuan for a sip of the soup. Traffic control will likely be in effect on this street by the afternoon. These long tables for long banquets have already been set up; the whole street is lined with tables, chairs, and benches. People selling oranges have already arrived. Let’s take a look at the kitchen of the long banquet— this is my favorite part, haha. Look at the kitchen! It’s a little past 8 o’clock now, and so many stalls are open. There are even makeup stalls. CCTV documentary specials, news interviews , and the “Enjoying Tianfu” program have all been there. Many different CCTV programs have come. This is even bigger than the Russian skewers I’ve ever seen— almost a meter long! Wow, the beef skewers are so long! The longest skewers I’ve ever seen! Even in the light drizzle , you can smell the aroma of the cured meat’s fat from afar . It must be because local citrus fruits are in season. Look at those golden baskets and baskets! Oh , what a bustling scene! It’s 9:10 AM ! This meal is at 6 PM, so they started working early this morning. They’ll be busy all day! Haha. Let’s look at this table. It’s about 3 meters long. Excuse me
, how many long tables are there today? 500 meters … Oh, that’s about how many? Assuming each table is about 3 meters long , then 500 meters… no, no, 2 meters … 52 meters… Haha, very beautiful! This bridge is still Leishan at night. Let’s take a look at the county’s historical buildings, the Tonggu Square Wind and Rain Bridge, from an aerial perspective . It has this structure, and it even has two levels ! This is the first time I’ve seen a bridge structure like this. Look, there are seats on both sides! Oh, it’s not just two levels! There are even more on top ! Let’s walk over here to find the temporary public restrooms. The LV restroom in the square was packed with people. The river below should be called the Danjiang River. The place I’m in is called Danjiang Town. Danjiang Town is the seat of the Leishan County government. Leishan County is one of the nationally recognized poverty-stricken counties. Leishan County is located in the southwest of Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province. The total area of Leishan County is approximately 1,204.36 hectares. With a registered population of approximately 165,203 per square kilometer , the area is predominantly inhabited by ethnic minorities , comprising about 92.71% of the population. The Miao people are the largest, accounting for approximately 84.51%, followed by the Dong, Shui, and Yao ethnic groups. The area boasts high forest coverage and abundant wildlife resources , including black bears and musk deer. Leishan is famous for its tea products , with “Silver Ball Tea” being a distinctive green tea. It also abounds in wild vegetables (such as bamboo shoots and ferns) and konjac. Many villages have been developed into ethnic tourism villages. There are approximately 350 Miao villages and traditional settlements in the area. Leishan is a major tourist county, home to several Miao villages. Besides Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village (under the jurisdiction of Leishan County) , there’s also Langde Miao Village and Leigongshan National Nature Reserve. It’s also known as the “Hometown of Miao Silver Ornaments in China.” (The following appears to be unrelated and possibly machine-translated text : “Not yet, not yet … Wow, what a strong bull! Where’s the bullfighting? Where’s the bullfighting? A bullfighting competition ! Bullfighting ! Winter jujubes and tangerines… Today we will experience the long table banquet , a very important traditional banquet form of the Miao people, considered the highest form and most solemn of Miao banquets . It’s usually used for very grand and festive occasions, such as weddings , village gatherings , and full moon celebrations . So, in Leishan’s Miao New Year, the ten-thousand-person long table banquet is something to look forward to. It ‘s usually an open -air banquet with very long tables , dozens or even hundreds of tables pieced together. And during the toasting ceremony, diners can experience the unique Miao toasting culture, ‘high mountain flowing water. ‘ The dishes on the long table banquet are also local specialties, such as sour soup fish.”) Miao-style black-haired pork, cured pork, sausage, glutinous rice, wild vegetables, stir -fries , and sour soup hot pot, etc. This cured pork is straight from the oil, it smells so good! I’ll give you a piece of cured pork now. That old lady saw me taking pictures for a long time and insisted on giving me a piece to try. It’s perfectly marbled with fat and lean meat, very appetizing , and not dry at all because of the fat. It’s past 10 o’clock now. I chatted with a female worker earlier, and she told me that their chef team is busiest in winter and during the Spring Festival. In Guizhou, weddings, funerals, housewarmings, and other celebrations all require them to cook. They ‘re not as busy in June and July. Some of them work full-time with a chef team, specializing in this job. The daily rate is 150-200 yuan (21-30 USD). Some are temporary workers, and some may be too busy. Like today, there are too many banquets, so we need to hire temporary workers. And the more banquets we hold, the more we need a chef team. Some banquets with only 20-30 tables can be handled by hotels or restaurants
, which is more convenient. But
for larger banquets, a chef team is usually needed. This is because some Miao people raise pigs themselves, and when they hold a banquet, they need to slaughter pigs, so going to a hotel isn’t convenient. Therefore, they hire chef teams . The Leishan Miao New Year Ethnic Intangible Cultural Heritage Grand Carnival is a trade fair, right? Leishan specialties are on display, including Miao silver jewelry forging techniques, Miao rice wine, Miao glutinous rice wine, and Leishan silver ball tea. Leishan silver ball tea is quite famous. In Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village, I saw a giant sculpture of silver ball tea. Leishan silver ball tea, green tea, Leigongshan rice wine, Leishan black-haired pork— many people are tasting it . Yes, that ‘s right. Eating Gastrodia elata can lower blood pressure, blood sugar, and cholesterol, boost immunity , alleviate numbness throughout the body, relieve study stress , and improve sleep. Fresh, large-headed Gastrodia elata (55g ) is from Leishan , southeastern Guizhou. Authentic Gastrodia elata is a must-have! You don’t need to eat breakfast here; you can eat your fill just by walking around. This place has many local specialties and products. The chicken soup is especially delicious. Try this Gastrodia elata ; it looks like ginger, and the texture is somewhat like a potato , but with more of a potato flavor. It has a herbal taste and a very fluffy , powdery texture . It’s separated by a ticket area; this is the Miao New Year , and also an opportunity for Leishan County to promote itself to the whole of China. I really want to visit the village! Go to Maliao Village, Nanmeng Miao Village, the hometown of bald cypress (Leigong Mountain is the only natural bald cypress research base in the mid-subtropics). Now, house prices in many cities have been halved, starting at 2,780 yuan per square meter. It looks good, hehe. Does our headdress have any special meanings? For example, the flower worn in the headdress is usually worn by unmarried girls, and it’s a brightly colored one . It means she’s single and unmarried. But it’s not that she’s unmarried; it’s just that if she wears a big red flower, it’s usually worn by unmarried girls when dancing the Lusheng and asking for flower bags. Brightly colored flowers are normal . And this silver ornament is very pretty, haha. Oh, this reminds me of Japanese clothing. Tour groups from all over the country are coming to Leishan Hotel, which is probably its landmark hotel. It feels like there are so many people at Leishan Hotel, the center of Miao culture in Leishan County . Leishan black-haired pork skewers, 10 yuan for 12 skewers , eat with peace of mind, freshly cut and grilled! We all have one piece lean and one piece fatty! If you only want lean, it won’t taste good . Yes, yes , today the streets are full of girls dressed like this. This is a display of intangible cultural heritage folk songs and dances from various ethnic groups . Like the Shaanxi storytelling performance we just saw , and then there’s this suona (a traditional Chinese wind instrument). Ah, including Mongolian string music, including “Hundred Birds Paying Homage to the Phoenix,” etc., Sichuan opera face-changing , try it, uh, Leishan Miao sour soup hot pot, the Miao people here can’t live without sourness, so refreshing. Some tourists are dining at nearby restaurants , they really can’t live without sourness here, all kinds of sour soup, sour soup hot pot with chili powder and bean sprouts, how about it , the taste is not bad, it’s very good, you can eat happily, um, sour soup fish hot pot , sour soup fish, um, Kaili sour soup fish specialty food , yellow catfish, Kaili sour soup is an important part of the Miao culture in southeastern Guizhou, the local people have always had the dietary habit of “using sour instead of salt, using sour to supplement salt”, sour soup has been passed down in the area for more than 1400 years. There’s a local proverb that goes , “If you don’t eat sour food for three days, you’ll walk unsteadily,” highlighting the importance of sour soup in the local cuisine. Kaili is known as the “Capital of Sour Soup Cuisine in China,” and sour soup hot pot base (including red sour soup) is considered one of the three major specialty hot pot bases in China . Good wine! Okay , thank you. You made it yourself! Oh, so many wild sweet potatoes ! Wild sweet potatoes! Authentic sweet potatoes ! This wine is delicious! Okay, okay, thank you, thank you! I’ll try some. These uncles made it themselves; it’s called sweet potato wine . Good wine! Hmm, this is over 50 proof ! Oh, after drinking it, you feel a little tipsy, but then it feels very comfortable, not so sober. 58 yuan for 500 grams of yellow catfish (about 8 US dollars). ( 500 grams) This yellow catfish is incredibly tender . He said it’s over 50 proof , but
the taste isn’t as strong as those soy sauce-flavored baijiu; it’s very smooth. However, it gets you drunk quickly, so the total came to 403 yuan. For 11 people, that’s only 37 yuan per person (about 5 USD). I originally wanted to eat hot pot alone , but the owner said there were no seats available . Then this lady heard me and asked if I wanted to sit with them. It was quite a coincidence that we ended up sitting together. It was fate! After eating and drinking, I feel so relaxed, comfortable, and refreshed. I’m not so tense anymore (I drank about 150 grams of liquor). Now I’m a little tipsy. Let’s take a look at the Miao New Year atmosphere in Leishan County, Leibo. Tourists from all over the country… I remember when I was in Bijie during the Spring Festival of 2024, I went to film the Flower Jumping Festival. There, they had matchmaking events on the hillside, and I also ate this long table banquet. I also drank the local specialty wine , and I got quite drunk, but it felt so good! Those were the aunties and uncles from the tour group. They came from Guiyang on a group tour; it only cost 69 yuan including round-trip transportation , nothing else. I think I just hitchhiked all the way from Nanning, Guangxi, to this place, first from Nanning to Guiyang, then from Guiyang to Kaili , and from Kaili to Leibo , which cost several hundred yuan. Their group tour was much more affordable. After drinking, it felt so good! I like being tipsy like this. Is that something called an acrobatic performance? The firefighters just arrived ! This is the restaurant that serves yellow catfish . The sour fish hot pot is 58 yuan for 500 grams (about $8 for 500 grams). What do you guys think of this price? Hmph, I’m walking with a slightly drunken gait, swaying unsteadily, haha. Oh , look, this restaurant is doing really well. This is mushroom hot pot. Wow, business is so good! The tables are even set up outside. This afternoon , these women wrapped in headscarves will be the most dazzling figures on the stage. Oh my god, look at this beauty, all this morning she’s been filling bowls bit by bit, and she ‘s already filled so many! This is corn and peanuts, and pork belly! Pork belly ! She’s really been busy from 7 am to 6 or 7 pm. They even steamed eggs inside, and they’ve cracked them open! It almost hit me! Yellow glutinous rice , dyed glutinous rice! Yellow glutinous rice , it’s dyed with daylily! Why dye it yellow? To give the glutinous rice a floral scent. This is chicken blanched with scallions, ginger, and garlic. Let me see… It should be past noon now, right? These female workers are still working. It’s only 12:30 PM, dinner isn’t until after 6 PM, and they’re already going crazy! Oh, they’ve laid out this tablecloth and rug, and it feels quite elegant . In another five or six hours , this place will be a bustling, joyous celebration! Let’s sit here and rest for a bit , maybe find some Leishan Silver Ball Tea to sober up. Portable gas stove, sections B and C, seats and benches are ready! Oh, this is candied rice, all kinds of snacks! It’s like a festival , even more lively than a festival! More lively than the Spring Festival in my hometown! Look, even a normal beef noodle shop now has long queues, with dried chili peppers and chili dipping sauce! Haha, even the houttuynia cordata is surrounded by this iron fence! I’m thinking, later when I take aerial photos of the parade of thousands of people, will that be considered drunk driving? Haha! Just now , 11 people each spent over 36 yuan . Leishan County has an altitude of 818 meters. This is the main road of Leishan County, a narrow county town. It’s a holiday! There are so many barbershops on this street, and quite a few people are waiting by the roadside. For many who may not have traveled far, this is a rare annual visual feast. It’s the Miao people’s New Year , a grand event . Look at the people on the street! The parade of tens of thousands of people started at 1 pm and went all the way to this place, from Leishan No. 1 Middle School to the Sports Square. It can be said that the streets are deserted. CCTV’s agricultural program, CCTV7, and various filming crews are all on high alert. Various media organizations in Taiwan have arrived with their filming equipment, and those broadcasting live on their phones have already set up, ready to wait. In Leishan County, Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou Province, China , a 60-year-old man is also handsome ! What a huge windmill! So tiring, let’s take a break. The atmosphere is a bit like the quiet before a carnival. Sitting on benches, I enjoy this visual feast of ethnic culture and folk customs. I walked from the end of the parade back to the beginning. I feel the parade route for tens of thousands of people is about three or four kilometers , quite far . The further I walked, the sparser the spectators became; the closer I got to the end, the denser the crowds became. Leishan County, although its area isn’t particularly large— the northernmost to the southernmost point is probably close to seven or eight kilometers— wow, so many photographers! Oh, that’s a drone ! That’s all for this episode . Next time, we’ll continue watching the grandest annual Miao New Year in Qiandongnan Miao and Dong Autonomous Prefecture, Guizhou. Okay, if you like my video, don’t forget to like and subscribe to my channel! Thanks for watching, see you next time

  1. Happy Miao/Hmong New Year. It's the most special festivity for us Miao people. Our new year is based on the birth of rice harvesting, ancestor veneration including the moon. For us Miao people, we celebrate the ending of the old year, to make way for the incoming new year based on our lunar calendar. It is celebrated in Xingwen, Sichuan… And the Hmong/Miao people outside of China as well.
