バリ島のプライベート温泉リゾート施設【MIMPI RESORT MENJANGAN】に泊まってきました。

This video is about our stay at Mimpi Resort Menjangan, a hot spring resort hotel in Bali. While the hotel is a little far from the airport, about four hours away, it’s located near Bali’s only national park. It’s also home to some of Bali’s best snorkeling and diving spots. It’s also less crowded with foreign tourists, allowing you to fully enjoy the traditional Balinese atmosphere. This secluded hotel also offers a private natural hot spring. So, what was our stay like? Please watch until the end. Please subscribe and like our channel. This time, we headed to the hotel by motorbike. We were both exhausted by the time we arrived, so I highly recommend taking a car. Upon arriving, we were offered a welcome drink and a towel in the spacious lobby. The pillars, roof, and furniture are all typically Balinese, creating a lovely atmosphere. This is our room. The door is slightly ajar. We’ll enter through here. The door looks like this, and it locks with a wooden bar. As soon as we entered, we saw a small garden like this, with the hot spring at the back. Wow, the smell of hot spring water is strong here too. Apparently it takes four hours to fill the bathtub with water. This time, I chose a room with a hot spring. The hot spring is quite hot. It smells like hot spring water. There is also a space here where you can relax after a bath. This is luxurious. The lights are now on. There is a ceiling fan. It feels like a slight breeze is blowing, making it cool. It looks like you can slowly cool down your hot body here. This is great. Be careful, as the cheapest room does not have a hot spring. Here it is. The wooden door is quite heavy. There is a large king-size bed in the center of the room. There are plenty of pillows. And a mosquito net above. There is a long desk here. There is a TV in the corner. There is also an air conditioner installed above. There is a wooden stool. It really feels like Bali. It feels more like a villa than a hotel. There is welcome fruit: grapes, apples, and salak. You can eat these too. I don’t have a knife, so I’ll just bite into it. I’ll test the internet speed. Let’s start. Download: 30.6Mbps. Upload: 18.4Mbps. With speeds like these, I think you should be able to use the internet normally. Now, let’s look at this side. What’s inside when you open it? There are two coffee cups. Two Nescafe coffees. This is black tea, it says black tea. This is green tea, and they seem to have green tea as well. I guess that’s because a lot of Japanese people come here. There are two cream powders. They come with sugar. There’s also brown sugar. And then there are two bottles of water like this. I thought this water was just there. However, there are water dispensers installed in various places, so apparently you can refill it for free there. That’s really helpful. This is a kettle. There are two glasses. There’s a large mirror. There’s a refrigerator underneath. It’s the same as a hotel refrigerator. There’s nothing in it right now, but you could buy something and keep it cold. There’s no light on here, but there’s a pillow on top. The locals called this a kimono. It’s a gown-type, thin nightwear similar to a yukata. There are two of these. There are three hangers. Umbrellas are also provided. There’s a safety deposit box downstairs. There’s a loft here, though. There’s a staircase here, so I decided to climb up a little. It’s more of a ladder than a staircase. It’s quite steep. I was told it’s a bed that can be used when guests come over. There’s also a bed here that can sleep about two people. It’s a little close to the roof, so the air conditioning doesn’t blow. It’s a little hot right now, around 1 p.m. Apparently there’s an additional fee to use this loft. I guess if you have children or unexpected friends over, you can use this loft. I want to go down, but it’s very steep. I’m scared. It’s almost a right angle, so I go down backwards. This appears to be the bathroom and toilet, so I take a look. I remove the key and it opens. It’s very bright here. Half of this is outdoors. This is an open space. You can see outside from here. It’s just started raining. And at the back is the toilet. I wonder what this shelf is for? You can put your cell phone on it. This is a hinged door. Maybe you can put something here, or something you don’t want to get wet before showering. Toilet paper is hanging here like this. Usually, these things are installed on the wall. Here is a toilet, which is famous in Indonesia. It’s a normal toilet. It also has a washlet. What is this? Let’s take a look. There’s a hair dryer inside. There are amenities here, so let’s take a look. There are three cotton swabs. There was also a toothbrush and toothpaste like this. There’s a large sink. There’s body lotion and hand soap. There’s a towel rack here. There’s body soap and shampoo. There’s a large island shower. Below is a handheld shower like the ones you see in Indonesian toilets. This is convenient, but I just came in through this door, but there’s actually another door here too. What door is this? If you open this door, you’ll arrive in front of the room we were in earlier. This is the entrance. This is where you can go directly to the hot spring. It’s convenient. You can come into this space wet after soaking in the hot spring. You can shower or wash your hair here. You can thoroughly prepare your body here, then dry off before entering your room. So, I’ll be enjoying my three nights in this room. I’m taking photos while soaking in the hot spring. There’s a step like this inside, and if you sit on it, you can immerse yourself in the hot spring up to your chest. The bathtub is quite deep, isn’t it? It’s very beautiful. The hot spring water is flowing directly from the source. The hot spring’s composition is written here. It is a natural hot spring containing sodium, calcium, chloride, and sulfate as its main components. It says that it is classified as mineral spring water according to the German government’s certification standards. It’s very noticeable when you bathe, but there’s a strong sulfur smell. It’s also written below. It says that the sulfur content of the hot spring may cause discoloration of precious metal jewelry. There’s a strong sulfur smell. You can pour the water onto your shoulders like a waterfall bath. You can also lie down on this tiered white space and soak like a reclining bath. The cheapest room doesn’t have a hot spring, so you have to wear a swimsuit and go to the outdoor hot spring. It was raining just today. Even in bad weather, this room has a roof, so you can bathe comfortably, rain or shine. There’s no one around, and you can bathe naked, so I highly recommend it. After a relaxing soak, I strolled around the hotel grounds. The hotel is quite spacious, with a well-maintained garden. I tried the gym. There aren’t many exercise machines, but it’s spacious and has all the necessary equipment. I went to the restaurant. There were quite a few boats floating around. It seems tours to Menjangan Island depart from here. This restaurant usually serves à la carte dishes, but groups dine inside buffet-style. I plan to have the breakfast buffet here tomorrow morning. Today, we’re getting a free dinner with our three-night stay, so I’m looking forward to seeing what it’ll be like. The bread was served like this. Then came the Gado Gado. It’s a little unusual. It’s different from the Gado Gado I usually have. It has green beans and carrots inside, like a salad roll. The potatoes are also eaten separately. This is Mimpi Resort Hotel’s unique Gado Gado. It’s pretty tasty. This is the Tom Yum Soup my wife ordered. It’s Tom Yum Kung. It comes with rice, like this. Since it comes with rice, this soup is a bit of a bargain. There’s quite a lot of seafood in it. Let’s eat. Oh, it’s spicy. It’s quite spicy. This Tom Yum Kung has a strong shrimp broth. It ‘s delicious. I think it’s good for people who like spicy food. It’s delicious. The main dish has arrived. It ‘s grilled tuna. It comes with raw sambal, called Sambal Matah. It’s spicy, but it comes with uncooked sambal. I order it with sambal. It’s delicious. It’s not too spicy. The tuna meat is a little dry in places, but it’s delicious with the sambal. This is another dish my wife ordered, Balamundi, a white fish with lemon sauce. It also looks delicious. I toss it with the lemon sauce. It’s delicious. My wife just looked it up, and it turns out it’s a fish called Minami Akame. I wonder if it’s a fish unique to tropical regions? It’s not a name you hear much about in Japan. The pepper and lemon make it delicious. This fish feels fatty. Dessert has arrived. I’m already full, though. It’s getting dark, so I’m turning on the light for a bit. We ‘re eating in the dark. It might be best to come around 5:30 or a little after 5:00 so we can finish eating by 6:30 PM. Let’s eat. It’s good, it’s delicious . Not too sweet. I’ll order some with this too. I like that they offer ice cream. At this time, the mosquitoes start attacking us like crazy as soon as it gets dark. This restaurant is definitely best visited during daylight hours. This is the chocolate cake my wife ordered. I’ll have a little bit of it. It’s like this. It was a very authentic chocolate cake. If it’s this delicious, I recommend eating it with coffee. It’s absolutely delicious. Let’s take our time. I came to the restaurant where I had dinner last night for breakfast. It was a buffet that day. I just got my meal . It was Indonesian food, like this nasi goreng. They had sausages and the typical buffet bacon. They also had bread. They had lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and carrots. While I was adding dressing to my salad, a monkey appeared in the dining area. It stole the bread a customer had brought. I was sitting by the waterfront, and if you take your eyes off it, the monkey would steal it. So I rushed back, and I didn’t get much dressing on my salad. It might be a good idea to bring a basic meal and come back to get more when you’re done. Let’s eat. It tastes like regular nasi goreng. And the sausage. The sausage was delicious, too. This is bacon. Steamed vegetables. I think it’s delicious. It’s a very good breakfast. It said “mixed juice,” so I brought it. It’s watermelon, and there’s quite a bit of watermelon in it. And this is the fruit my wife brought. This is a fruit called nangka. This is papaya. It’s delicious. I’m not a big fan of nangka, so I’ll pass. She brought some french fries. These are freshly fried. I also just ordered an omelet. Apparently, if you order a fried egg or omelet, they’ll bring it to your table. This one is freshly fried , so I’ll try it. It’s delicious. Here comes the omelet. I asked for everything, so they made it with all the options. You always want an omelet at a hotel breakfast, don’t you? It’s delicious. Are they going snorkeling? I think they’re on a boat heading to the snorkeling spot. This is a restaurant, but it’s also a dock. They’re probably taking a boat to Menjangan Island. We’ll go there later too. I took a snorkeling tour that day. We took a boat from the hotel to a spot near Menjangan Island for snorkeling. It was light rain that day, so visibility was poor. Still, we were able to see plenty of fish. Along the way, we stopped for lunch on Menjangan Island, strolled around, and played with the island’s deer. After that, we took a boat to the next snorkeling spot. We thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling at Menjangan. It’s now 3:30 PM. I just returned from the snorkeling tour to the hotel. I took a quick dip in the outdoor hot spring. I’ve just returned to my room. The room had been cleaned. The outdoor hot spring rest area was also cleaned, and new bath towels were left here. I miscalculated a bit, but the hot spring water in my room was gone. Apparently, you have to tell the staff before they’ll let you use it. I thought maybe they just refilled it when they cleaned the room. After the tour, I came back to my room hoping to take another bath. It was nice that they cleaned it well, but the hot water hadn’t been added at all. Apparently, you have to tell the staff about this. However, it takes about four hours for the water to fill up. It might be full by around 7 PM. Please be careful. It would be a real shock the next day when you come back from outside and want to take a relaxing soak in your room’s hot spring only to find there’s no hot water. We’re staying here for three nights, so it’s fine. But for those who are only staying one night, this will limit your time in the hot spring. Please be careful. It’s raining today. It was raining, but it was a light rain when we went snorkeling. Since it was in the ocean, it wasn’t cold at all. However, on the boat ride back, I got a little wet, so I felt a bit chilly for about 15 to 20 minutes on the boat ride back. So, if you get cold easily, it might be a good idea to bring a jacket or a change of clothes. It’s now 8:11 PM. The water is finally filling up. It’s overflowing, so I’m taking a bath. The Mimpi Resort has a hot spring on its grounds that everyone can use, but it’s open until 7 PM. Therefore, only guests with rooms with hot springs can use the hot springs at this time of night. My wife also went in before me and was cooling off while checking her phone. I had just eaten at a restaurant, and it was the first time I’d seen a “Balinese big brother.” He was eating with many other people. They were probably from Japan on a tour. The hotel staff had told me that “big brothers” often come here. After that, I took a long soak in the hot spring and went to bed. Breakfast on Day 3. Today, instead of a buffet, it was a self-serve option. I chose the Continental Breakfast. It came with cereal, coffee, and this kind of fruit. It also seemed to include bread. The staff said they weren’t sure when the buffet would be and when the breakfast selection would be. They said there wasn’t a buffet today because there weren’t many people. The coffee was Balinese. The coffee grounds settled to the bottom, making it a bit grainy. Drinking this coffee made me feel like I was in Bali. I ordered pineapple juice. The toast has arrived. We have croissants and sliced bread. We also have Danish pastries with raisins. This one has a pancake-like texture. Let’s eat. It’s pretty tasty . We ‘ve arrived at the pool. The weather is nice today, so it feels great. The pool is about 25 meters long and quite deep. There’s a children’s pool next to us. It’s a shallow pool. On the other side, there are some shaded areas and chairs. Everyone was relaxing, some doing yoga, stretching, and some even sleeping. There are hot springs here. There are two hot springs. This one is circular. There’s a round table in the middle. This one is a circular hot spring with nothing else. This hot spring is also warm. It’s good for those who want a more open-air bath. The view is also great here. This hot spring has a table in the middle, so some people were drinking there. This is the souvenir shop. They seem to sell souvenirs and T-shirts. The facility is so large, it’s easy to get lost without these signs. It’s so spacious that you’d need to follow these signs to find your way back to your room. This seems to be the hot spring closest to your room. It’s warm. Warm. The view is obscured by the bamboo, as the room is all around you. If you make a reservation through the hotel website, you can rent a two-person kayak for free for an hour. Neither of us was used to kayaking, so we dove into the mangroves several times. We enjoyed the scenery that can only be seen from a kayak. The weather was perfect, and the waves were calm. We even spotted some rare birds, and had a wonderful time. When we returned from kayaking, it was pouring rain. While we were still soaking, we decided to take a dip in the pool. The rain got heavier, and our bodies started to get cold. Next, we decided to warm up in the hot spring. It’s really nice that a hotel has an outdoor hot spring. After a tiring kayak. The accommodation plan included a free massage for one person, so we added 3,000 yen for my wife and went to the spa for a massage. We got a massage here. After that, we took a shower here. There was a hot spring here, so we soaked in it to warm up a little. The water was quite hot. The bath towel we rented was quite yellowed, but that can’t be helped, Indonesia Quality. We then went to a restaurant for our final meal, dinner. We had Sate Campur, a skewer of various meats, similar to yakitori . It was chicken, but they also had squid, shrimp, and other varieties. There were nine skewers. And now, the rice has arrived. I’ll try a bite. It’s a little small compared to Japanese yakitori. The sweet and spicy sauce is delicious. This is the dish I ordered, Balamundi. I had this on the first day, and it was quite delicious, so I ordered it again today. Fish is definitely better than meat, especially since we’re so close to the sea. The tuna was a little dry, but I thought it was delicious. It was delicious. There aren’t many guests at night. However, today there was a Japanese wedding being held outside, so the staff seemed quite busy. Even at times like that, it was helpful that we could still eat in the restaurant. We enjoyed our meal. Finally, I’d like to talk about something I noticed about staying at this hotel. First of all, the wooden doors, handles, and padlocks are a little different from those in a normal hotel, so be careful. Apparently, if you lose this padlock, you’ll be charged around 4,000 yen. This key is the same as the room key, so I think that’s because if you lose it, you’ll have to change the room key as well. The size of the room was perfect. It was very spacious and comfortable. However, there are a few things you need to be aware of. Here, they provide kimonos, which are nightwear. They provide this kind of nightwear, which is made of a thin, gown-like fabric. If you wear this to bed and your body is even slightly exposed from the futon with the air conditioner on, you could catch a cold. I think it would be a good idea to bring a comfortable T-shirt or something to wear as nightwear. There were several times when I woke up almost naked in the morning. And then there’s this mosquito net. It’s a bit of an odd shape. Mosquitoes inevitably get in because the room is old-fashioned. So, I think it’s a good idea to bring a push-type mosquito repellent like this called a VAPE. The hotel’s location is quite far, which is a bit of a drawback. They offer a shuttle service from the airport and Denpasar. It costs 12,000 yen. For safety reasons, if you can’t drive or aren’t confident in your driving, it might be a good idea to use the shuttle service. You can also book Mimpi Resort on Agoda. However, this time, I booked directly through Mimpi Resort’s official website. Booking through the official website offers various perks. For example, breakfast is included. Since this is a rural area, you can’t go to the nearest convenience store to buy something, so I recommend booking breakfast. Also included is a one-hour Balinese massage for one person. It was a pretty thorough massage. Kayaking is also included, with one hour of free kayaking. There are some views that can only be seen by kayaking, so I recommend this option. Since the kayaking, massage, and breakfast are included, I recommend booking directly. There are three room types. The first, the Patio Room, has a large bed, but no hot spring. You have to go to the outdoor open-air bath to enjoy the hot spring. There is a shower, but apparently no private bath. This is where we stayed. The Villa Private Hot Spring, a room with a hot spring, is included. I recommend this one. Because depending on the room, you have to walk to the outdoor hot spring. After all, it’s easier to enjoy a hot spring if it’s close by. If you have to change into your swimsuit and walk a bit, it’s not exactly a casual experience. If you’re planning on staying overnight, I recommend this villa type. A pool isn’t necessarily required in the room, as it’s a private pool. So, if a room with a hot spring is available, I recommend that option. It ‘s not an easy place to get to by motorbike, but you can still get there by motorbike. If you’re feeling energetic, I highly recommend it. Now, I’ll get ready to head home, take a final bath in the hot spring, and then check out. That’s all from the room, excuse me . After that, I checked out of the hotel and drove another four hours by motorbike back to Denpasar. It’s a bit far, but I recommend this hotel for those who want to fully enjoy the natural beauty of Bali. What do you think? If you found this video helpful or useful, please hit the like button.
