Walking with Wind and Rain in Rural Daisen Foothills | Tottori, Japan 4K
A windy and rainy walk through a beautiful little village by terraced rice fields in the foothills of Mt. Daisen in Tottori, Japan. I hadn’t planned on walking here, but as I was driving from one forest trail to another I saw it this little village on the side of the road with a great view of the mountain, beautiful fields, and fast flowing canals so I couldn’t help but take a little walk through. As I got out of the car I had a few second thoughts as it was quite windy, but it was also so beautiful I decided just to give it a go. I’m glad I did, it was a nice quiet village, but also a good learning experience with the wind. It broke my umbrella and started rubbing against the microphones in the second half of the video. I debated not uploading this, or cutting out the windiest bits, but it’s such a nice area I decided to leave the wind in and hope it doesn’t take away from enjoying the scenery.

It's a shame the wind broke your umbrella and almost stole your cap. But this video takes me to a place I do not wish to leave. A happy feeling just lingers on making me want to hang out there much longer. Loving the rain and even the cheeky wind. There's something exquisitely otherworldly about Tottori and Japan in general. Особенно впечатляет звук — слышно, как капли дождя ритмично падают на зонт, а ветер наполняет пространство живой динамикой. Такая звуковая среда делает прогулку максимально погружённой и реалистичной.

Wow! That was some wind! The fields held no cover at all for you, and a recalcitrant umbrella was proclaiming….”Time for a surrender don’t you think?” 😂 Ha ha! A tube of glue, and Mr Brolly rides again! I trust you treated yourself to a coffee when out of the wind somewhere. The fields were beautiful though especially the one where you retrieved your hat. My word you get all the medals for carrying on filming! 💫☺️💐
I love this one, even with rain and wind. The intricate drainage and irrigation system with the sluice gates was a great detail to see. The beautiful gardens with the blooming iris were all lovely. I will be rewatching this one.
