Capri — The Secret Italy of Millionaires: Amalfi Coast. Where Wealth Smells of Lemons

This is the most beautiful island in Italy… and I’m going to show you why! Here’s what awaits you… Capri is the most beautiful island in all of Italy… and I’m going to show you why! Surrounded by a turquoise sea and cliffs rising from the waves, Capri looks as if it were created not by humans, but by a dream. A place where history meets luxury, and the scent of lemons mixes with the salty wind of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Here, time slows down, life becomes as light as a breath of sea breeze, and it seems that the whole world stops to simply enjoy the moment. At the heart of Capri is the port of Marina Grande. A place where the first steps onto the island are accompanied by the smell of the sea and the gentle sound of waves touching the stone. Here, fishing boats stand next to the yachts of travelers, and everything seems so simple – sea, sun, tranquility. By the way, Capri can only be reached by ferry. The ferry costs about 25 euros, but from the first minutes you can see why everyone wants to get here. The morning air is fresh, the sea is calm, and the port is still quiet – only the sound of engines and the cries of seagulls that wake up with the island. Marina Grande is the main gate to Capri. This is where all the ferries from Naples, Sorrento and Amalfi arrive every day. While tourists are going ashore, the boats are again heading out to sea – from here you can start walking around the island and a trip to the Blue Grotto. The houses along the coast look as if they were painted with watercolors – yellow, red, white, with shutters the color of the sea. This place does not look like a port – but like a postcard that has come to life. And then – let’s go higher. The funicular takes you straight to the center of Capri in a few minutes. With each meter, a new perspective opens up: the white houses become smaller, the sea becomes wider. The trip lasts only three minutes, but it seems longer – because each meter up opens up a new view and the feeling that you are rising above the whole world. And now we are at the top – at the upper station of the funicular. From here, the first real view of Capri opens: the sea below, the city under your feet, and it seems that the sky is closer here than anywhere else. People get off the funicular and immediately stop – because this view is simply impossible to pass by: The sea stretches to the horizon, and the air smells of freedom and morning coffee from the terrace. This place is ideal for photos – everything that makes Capri magical is visible from here. This is where your acquaintance with Capri begins – from this terrace, where everyone wants to take a photo, and then just sit on a bench and not rush anywhere. If you are in Capri – be sure to stop here. Don’t rush to the city right away Sit on a bench, look at the sea… and give yourself a few minutes to just be in this moment. If you like it, like and subscribe ❤️ I really appreciate it! We are in the very heart of Capri – on the Piazzetta, where the whole life of the island takes place between coffee, conversations and a look at the ancient church of San Stefano. Its white facade is visible from any point of the square – and although it is modest from the outside, it was from here that the history of the city once began. The Piazzetta is the heart of Capri. Life here is in full swing from morning to evening: people drink coffee, laugh and simply enjoy the sun and the view. We slowly walk through the narrow streets of Capri. Morning in Capri begins softly – the sun is not yet hot, but only touches the facades with warm light. Here is our first souvenir shop – and, it seems, everything here is soaked with lemons. Because Capri without lemons is like Italy without coffee. Almost every hotel here is immersed in greenery — palm trees, flowers, bougainvillea. It’s nice to imagine going out onto the balcony in the morning with a cup of espresso and listening to the birds singing. Walking here is a pleasure: narrow streets, warm sun, and the feeling that the whole island belongs to you. This is a modern sculpture near the art gallery — a human figure made of metal elements, similar to a living mosaic. What do you think of modern art? 👀 A little strange, a little mesmerizing — but it definitely doesn’t leave me indifferent. And I definitely don’t leave indifferent moments like these — cute cats. Well, you must admit, it’s simply impossible not to stop 🥹 Wow! 😯 Right in the middle of the building — a tree! On Capri, this is absolutely normal. Here, trees grow right through the buildings, and no one is even surprised. I am sincerely surprised – everything is so beautiful here that even an ordinary passage turns into a photo zone. These streets seem to be created for slow walks – when you are not in a hurry, but simply breathe in the beauty around you. On Capri, flowers are everywhere – at any time of the year. They grow on walls, balconies, along the roads… as if the island simply cannot live without colors. Now I am taking you to show you one of the most special and beautiful places on Capri – the Gardens of Augustus. On the way to the Gardens of Augustus – a small paradise with the smell of lemons 🍋 Fresh juice, the aroma of citrus fruits and the sea somewhere nearby – this is what a perfect moment of summer looks like. The street seems to come to life – someone is trimming trees, others are just walking, enjoying the morning sun. Ahead is a small cafe hidden in grape shoots. A place where you can hide from the hustle and bustle and just breathe in the aroma of Capri. We are almost there. Only a few steps remain to the Gardens of Augustus – and one of the most famous views of Capri will open ahead. Entrance to the gardens is paid – 2.50 euros. You can buy a ticket just from the machine – quickly, conveniently and without queues. Around – a real green paradise. By the way, this road leads to the famous Via Krupp stairs – one of the most impressive places in Capri . In the meantime – let’s just feel the atmosphere of these gardens. If you like it – like and subscribe ❤️ I really appreciate it! Feel every second of this moment – silence, sea, wind and endless beauty that unfolds before your eyes. And this is another of the most famous views of Capri. The Faraglioni rocks are a symbol of the island that you will recognize immediately, even if you have never been here. And here is a marble plaque erected in honor of Emperor Augustus. It was he who once made Capri part of the Roman Empire. And this plaque tells the story of the Gardens of Augustus themselves. They were donated to the city of Capri at the beginning of the 20th century . From here, perhaps, some of the most beautiful views on the entire island open. And which view is closer to your heart – the rocks, the sea or these green terraces? And here is another plaque. It tells about the Capri sundial, created in honor of the greatness of the island during the Roman Empire. There is an amazing silence here – only a light sea breeze touches your face, and the sun gently glides over the water. The air is filled with the aroma of flowers and fresh greenery, and soft sunlight breaks through the branches. And it seems that the whole of Capri breathes peace. You just want to stay here. Look at the sea and not think about anything . Do you think you could live on such an island? And now – let’s go look at the very famous Via Krupp stairs. The view is mesmerizing . The stairs go down straight to the sea, winding along the cliff, like a ribbon hugging Capri. Look at this color of the water – so clean and transparent that you can even see the stones at the bottom. We returned to the port of Marina Grande. At lunchtime, life here is bustling – boats arrive and depart, tourists return from walks, and cafes are filled with the aroma of coffee and seafood. Flags from all over the world flutter by the sea – Capri welcomes guests from every corner of the planet. Here you always feel a light breeze, the smell of salt in the air and the peace that can only be found by the sea. And here is Marina Grande beach – the main beach of the island of Capri. Small, but with perfectly clear water, soft waves and a view that cannot be confused with anything. People swim here even in autumn – the sea is so warm that it is difficult to resist. From here one of the best views on Capri opens – white houses that seem to be suspended above the sea, and greenery that goes down right to the water. Feel this sound of the waves – calm, rhythmic, almost meditative. The mountains around create the feeling that you are in a small bay, protected from the whole world. Everything is so relaxed here that even time seems slower. If you like it – like and subscribe ❤️ I really appreciate it! And here is a local observer – a seagull, which seems to be the main one here. He stands, looks at the sea and makes sure that everyone is having a good rest. Marina Grande is the main port of the island of Capri. It is always crowded during the day: tourists arrive and depart, some with suitcases, some just with ice cream in their hands. The atmosphere here is simply wonderful. Cafes, laughter, the smell of coffee and the sea – everything is bustling with life. You just want to sit down, order gelato and enjoy the moment . The embankment is full of cozy cafes, the aroma of espresso mixes with the sea air. Even here, on Capri, among the classic Italian streets – you can find a sushi bar. And then – here they are, the classic souvenir shops of Capri. Lemons, bracelets, magnets, ceramics – everything is in bright colors, as if the sun itself is being sold on the counter. And here is the main character of every market on Capri – lemon. Everything here is made of it: liqueurs, sweets, soap, even pasta.
