【北海道】日本の“てっぺん”に到達。最北端は景色もグルメも想像を超えてた。
Good morning. We’re a newlywed, unemployed couple traveling around Japan on our honeymoon , eating lots of delicious food. In the last video, we drank a lot in Asahikawa, but today we’re heading to Wakkanai, the northernmost point of Japan. It’s a completely new place. Last year, we didn’t go to Wakkanai because the route was difficult, but is there anyone who does that? Travelers usually go there. Since last year, we had been thinking about going to Hokkaido again next year, so we thought, why not just go next year? We’re currently in Asahikawa, so we’re planning to take the four-hour drive from there to Wakkanai. It takes four hours . I looked it up, and the total distance is 259 kilometers , since we want to go to Wakkanai via the Ororon Line . 食べましたか? English : 4 hours and 21 minutes? Unbelievable! If we just went straight we would get there in about 4 hours, but we decided that since we were there, we might as well go along the coast, so that’s how we ended up on a long journey today. When we get to Wakkanai, we wanted to eat and sightsee in Wakkanai, but there was a lot to do , and it’s now 2pm, so it will probably be dark by the time we arrive. The sightseeing might have to be done later, but we’ll do that in the second half of this video, so please look forward to it and be sure to watch until the end. So let’s head there. Let’s go to the northernmost point , really? What? Amazing, really? I thought you said Wakkanai, but on the contrary, we had no intention of meeting each other, so we’re off. So we’re off. We started off slowly. I saw something red on the screen so I thought it was Tarapiyo, but it was this , what is that? Caramel corn. The other day, when I was on my way to Yamagata, or maybe after I went back to my parents’ house, I went all the way to Yamagata. I was on the highway on my way to Yamagata, and a friend called me and asked , “Are you nearby?” It turned out that a childhood friend from my hometown was on her way to Tohoku, and we met at a service area and she gave it to me. It was delicious . It was really amazing , I was surprised. See you at the next service area! Seriously , that was amazing, that was amazing, it was a miracle. First, let’s go to the Ororon Line! Okay, so we’re entering the Ororon Line. Entering Ororon Online. What? Isn’t it here? The expressway just ended, so I went to a roadside station, so I went to Roadside Station Rumoi. The Sea of Japan Ororon Line, above Hokkaido… on the far right, right? This guy was sleeping until just now, so I’m sleepy. I slept well. I slept really well . At the roadside station, Hiyori took over driving, and I’ll be driving. I didn’t say it yet, but here we are, the Ororon Line. We’re going to the Ororon Line. We’re entering . Is this the entrance? Is this the entrance? What? Isn’t the Sea of Japan there? Where does the Ororon Line come from ? Once you leave the coast, it’s the Ororon Line, or the coastal Ororon . Please bear with me for a moment as we sing this mysterious chorus . Yes. What was Shun-kun singing just now? I don’t know, I was allowed to do the original, but the original was very dissonant, so I sang a parody ♪ Children all over the world are on the Ororon Line We entered the Ororon Line Finally to the Ororon Line In, this Ororon Line seems to go all the way from Otaru to Wakkanai The Ororon Line is a coastal driving course that stretches for about 380km from Otaru to Wakkanai You can see scenery unique to Hokkaido, such as the sunset over the Sea of Japan and huge wind turbines ! The Sea of Japan is steep It’s the Sea of Japan It’s already along the coast until we get to Wakkanai, right? 87km left in a straight line So is n’t it so beautiful Why does it have to be so beautiful What is it , so beautiful The best driving course The sea is on the left and nature on the right It’s so beautiful No, seriously, it’s beautiful Ignore Miss Hiyori I’m driving I ‘m not lying So Hiyori is driving but I’m eating potato chips Potato chips to accompany a drive along the coast Aren’t they the best ? Aren’t they the best After all, a drive is not complete without snacks By the way, there are 170km left 2 hours and 41 minutes left I can’t believe it It seemed like we’d made so much progress Hokkaido is so huge! The sunset I saw on the way was so beautiful We’re almost to Wakkanai! Huh? There’s something there, a deer! A deer is crossing the street. There are deer here. Are there deer in the city? They’re staring at me all over the city. I’d heard that there were deer in Wakkanai. Ah , we’ve arrived in Wakkanai. We’ve arrived smoothly. To finish off today, we’ll be trying some local cuisine. It’s apparently soul food. When it’s called local soul food, there’s no way I can resist trying it. You can only get it here. That’s how it is . It’s really cold, isn’t it? Shun is worried because he’s wearing short sleeves and shorts, but there are no people like him. This is the shopping district. I’ll look for a parking lot on the left. Ramen Daioh Main Store. Here we are. For dinner we’ll have chow mein . When I heard the name chow mein, I automatically thought of fried rice ramen, but it’s not. It’s noodles with a thick sauce, right? It’s not chow mein. It’s not steamed chow mein, but boiled noodles with a thick sauce. Let’s eat. The thick sauce looks really delicious. This is amazing. Let’s eat . It’s delicious, I love it! The noodles are browned and have a good texture. They’re ramen noodles, so they’re different from yakisoba noodles. They’re like thick sauce chow mein, but they’re not steamed, so the texture is different and delicious . I ordered soy sauce and salt, so I exchanged them. They ‘re really white. The soy sauce has a punch and the salt has a gentle saltiness. I’ll put it back and enjoy the salt. I love it. I’m a big fan of thick sauce. The garlic punch goes really well with it . We did our best during the 4 and a half hours of travel! We got to see a beautiful sunset, it was so beautiful! The sunset falling on the Sea of Japan side . The sunset falling on the ocean is so beautiful! So, thank you for the meal! We then traveled to Wakkanai and had dinner. It’s late tonight, so we’ll do some sightseeing later, so please don’t cut the video and wait. I’m going to take a bath. Well, good night, good morning. It ‘s day 2. Today we’ll be sightseeing in Wakkanai. Let’s go prove that we’ve reached the northernmost point right away. We’re going to a certain place. It’s something that every traveler should have and dream of. Let’s go get it. Where is the parking lot ? This is famous, so all the YouTubers get one when they come to Wakkanai. There was someone in Asahikawa with one the other day, so … Let’s go! So , here we are, here we are , arrived at Wakkanai City Hall . We’ve arrived, so we’ll certify it and get it certified . While we ‘re certifying it, we’ve received it. Northernmost Point Reach Certificate . It’s proof that we’ve reached the northernmost point. We received it from the mayor of Wakkanai . And it’s free! You write your address and name and you get it . On the back, you’ll find that it represents Japan’s four points: the northernmost, easternmost, southernmost, and westernmost. If you visit all four points, you get the same certificate, and the four make up one certificate. This is our second year, and we’ve finally started collecting them. We knew about them, but we didn’t go, so we weren’t able to collect them all this year. So this year, we’re going to collect them all, so we’ve received them, but we haven’t been to the northernmost point of Japan yet, so we’re going to go to the northernmost point of Japan now. We’re going to the true northernmost point. Let’s go , let’s go to the northernmost point! We can see it! Here we are! This is Cape Soya, the northernmost point in Japan. There are so many people here. We ‘ve arrived. Here we are, the northernmost point in Japan. It’s so beautiful. When you often see images of this place today, it’s cloudy or there are strong winds and storms, so today is a good day, isn’t it? It’s sunny, really sunny . We’ve arrived , the northernmost point , the northernmost point, Cape Soya. I’m the girl currently living in the northernmost part of Japan. It’s embarrassing, I’m getting off. It’s over. Isn’t it quick? There’s more north Come on , amazing You can go this far Amazing I’m truly at the northernmost point right now No, I’m the northernmost point No, it’s me, it’s me Everyone does it I ‘m the northernmost woman I’m currently the northernmost point in Japan Isn’t that amazing? When you think about it , it’s amazing It’s certainly beautiful The sea is so clear It’s amazing There’s lots of kelp I almost want to go in today But it’s only about 22 degrees around here I’d probably freeze if I went in It ‘s early September So, after a year of traveling around Japan, we’ve finally made it to the northernmost point Last year we skipped Hokkaido There ‘s no one like that What are you doing So we made it Now we have the footage to prove it Thank you I ‘ve finally reached Wakkanai This is Japan’s northernmost vending machine I’m going to buy Japan’s northernmost Qoo Now I have Japan’s northernmost juice in my hands How does it taste? Qoo Wow , so Cape Soya is on the left. We say goodbye to Cape Soya and head to the next spot. Cape Soya is a right. Turn right here. Go right here. There is a path on a pathless road ! Do we go up here ? Go like this . Climb the steep slope… it’s so beautiful , isn’t it? There are so many cows! So many cows, and they’re all black, aren’t they? There are so many cows . Yes, Shun-kun, the cows might come and approach us. We’ll take a detour here and have lunch. I made a sudden decision. This is Hotatei . Well, I made a sudden decision . Let’s go. Hotatei. It ‘s scallop salt ramen. It looks so delicious. Aren’t the scallops really huge? Look at them, they’re really huge . Well, let ‘s start with the soup. The broth is delicious. It looks delicious . The noodles are the best . Let’s eat the noodles. It ‘s delicious. [The umami of the scallops is well-blended] A certain YouTuber was also eating there so I wasn’t planning on coming, but when I passed by, I thought, “Huh?” I thought I’d seen this before and heard the ramen was good so I went for it. I was hungry so it was really delicious and the food was delicious. I had the scallop curry. Let’s eat. It’s delicious . The curry has the broth of scallops infused into it and it has clams in it. So it really does have scallops in it? It’s in it, it ‘s in it. It’s really delicious . How spicy is it? It ‘s about medium spicy with a rich flavor. I was hungry so it really hit the spot . I’m glad I stopped by. It was a great lunch. It was just lunchtime so I was hungry . So I’ll have the scallops. I want to take just one bite of the giant scallop but I’m being stingy so I’ll just take a bite. It’s delicious. Super tasty. The clams are delicious. I love clams. The scallops are delicious. Thank you for the meal. It was so delicious. Let’s go again . I ‘ll definitely go again next time . Delicious ramen. 食べましたか、今日はみんな頑張ろうです!! English: I’m glad I ate it . The curry was also delicious . The scallop broth was effective and it wasn’t too spicy so I was able to eat it. Let’s go ! Finally, we’re at the Soya Hills. Amazing. It really feels like Hokkaido. The hills , the endless grasslands and the cows . This is definitely Hokkaido. Amazing . So good . It’s really Hokkaido. The water is shallow and there are cows again. The Soya Black Cattle are grazing here. Apparently the sea that can be seen from Cape Soya is both the Sea of Okhotsk and the Sea of Japan. I forgot to explain that at Cape Soya, but apparently when you look at it from Cape Soya, the Sea of Okhotsk is on the right and the Sea of Japan is on the left. You can see both at once . That’s what I meant when I said earlier, “I’m the northernmost woman.” Stop doing such nonsense and explain it to me. It’s a spot where you can see both . Wow, the hills are so beautiful… Driving is the best. It might be the best driving scenery. Amazing. Let’s stop for a moment and take in the view. Amazing. It’s incredible. Amazing . You can even see the cows. Amazing. [Souya Hills] Hills are really great. Feels nice. Scenery like this continues on and on so it’s the best. These hills, windmills and cows. This is good , let’s go. We ‘re only 200 meters away from our destination. The view was already spectacular up to this point, but up ahead is the road that’s used in Wakkanai posters and such. It’s the same place. I really wanted to go here. I’ve been going there since last year, but I couldn’t make it last year, so it’s been a long-awaited dream. Isn’t this the place? It starts from here. Here we are . This is the white road. It’s really white, a white road. It’s amazing. Why is it white? Because for some reason it’s covered in scallop shells. Why? Why? : I don’t know, you should look it up.By the way, the reason seems to be this [Environment, recycling and scenery, function] I got off once and it was so beautifulThere were loads of crushed scallop shells lying aroundThey were all scallopsIt was really beautifulIf we go further, there seems to be a place where we can see the ocean, so let’s go onUp ahead, there seems to be a spectacular view of the oceanLook, I can see the oceanIsn’t this it? This is it, this is itIt’s so beautifulThis ocean and the white roadIt ‘s hard to do it justice in a video, so I’ll send you picturesA spectacular driveA spectacular view of hand-pushing sumo (I was filming while being careful of my surroundings) That is Rishiri Island’s famous Rishiri FujiYou can see Rishiri Fuji as wellThe sun is shining and it’s beautifulToday there are clouds, but it’s really beautifulWhen the weather is nice you can enjoy the sceneryYou’ve been there until just now, but now there are no people aroundIf you find a timing that you can take picturesIt’s perfectIt ‘s evening [Isn’t the wind too strong? 】 I came to see the sunset over the Sea of Japan. It’s the first time I’ve seen a sunset on video. It’s Cape Noshappu. It’s famous. It’s amazing, it ‘s so beautiful . The sunset over the Sea of Japan. You can even see Rishiri Fuji. It’s the best. The sunset over the Sea of Japan is something you can’t see in the Kanto region. During this trip, I didn’t have many opportunities to see the sunset, but I’m really glad I came. So, I went to see the sunset. It was amazing! It was probably the most beautiful sunset I’ve ever seen in my life. It was amazing to see it fall into the sea. It was my first time seeing a sunset fall into the sea. First of all, it was so beautiful! So , finally, I’m going to take a bath in the northernmost bath in Japan. I’m going in. My body is cold now, so let’s warm up. Wakkanai Onsen Domu , so I took a bath at Domu! I feel refreshed. It’s the northernmost hot spring in Japan, so it felt really good . The sauna was good too. And the view from the open-air bath was beautiful . It was the best because you can see Rishiri Fuji right in front of you in the open-air bath. And as for why I came here, it’s not only the northernmost, but I also came to get this. The bathing certificate from the northernmost hot spring Domu. Today I received a lot of proof, all proof. Japan ‘s northernmost hot spring Domu. I hereby certify that you have taken a bath in Thank you It was incredibly good I was able to buy this for 200 yen And this was falling out of a vending machine that sells bread and such That concludes today’s video This time we travelled from Asahikawa and did some sightseeing so it was a long journey but I hope you enjoyed it It was incredibly good I only had the image of Wakkanai as the northernmost point and Cape Soya To be honest there were so many things to see and the sunset was beautiful so I was really moved I will come again It was really great The hills were also super beautiful and it was the best So if you think Wakkanai is the best please subscribe to the channel and rate it highly I am also on Instagram and X so please follow me See you next time! Bye! Next time we’ll head over there! Thank you for watching! Videos are updated every Tuesday and Saturday! Check out the bonus too Northernmost of Everything① I went to the northernmost toilet in Japan and let me know what you thought Welcome back , it’s the northernmost, something was different? The northernmost, did you feel it? That’s good , it’s the northernmost postbox in Japan The northernmost postbox in Japan? It doesn’t say it, but you can send a letter from the northernmost point of Japan I’m the northernmost woman in Japan touching the sea Hey wee, isn’t this the north? This place might be north If you say that, it seems more north over there Then it’s that place after all But as a woman touching the sea, this is the northernmost
