猫・温泉・海の幸が全部そろった素敵な民宿!伊東・海風荘が幸せすぎた
I stayed at Kaifuso in Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture. This is a guesthouse where you can spend a relaxing time with adorable cats. I enjoyed the hot springs and delicious seafood, and had a wonderful time. I hope you enjoy it to the end. My journey began at Tokyo Station. From there, I took the Shinkansen to Atami. The Kodama Shinkansen ride from Tokyo to Atami takes about 45 minutes. The fare for the Kodama from Tokyo to Atami is 3,740 yen for unreserved seats and 4,270 yen for reserved seats. I boarded the 10:57 AM Kodama. It was almost time to depart. I boarded. I left Tokyo Station. Ah, I’m looking forward to it. Farewell Tokyo~👋Unfortunately , it was cloudy that day. I arrived at Atami in no time. Farewell Kodama, I’ll have lunch in Atami. Osakana Yaro Seisuke 8-9 Ginza-cho, Atami, Shizuoka Prefecture Business Hours 11:30-15:00, 17:30-21:00 I ordered the Shizuoka Kakiage Donburi (Tempura Bowl) for ¥1,738. The kakiage was huge! I also ordered the Kamaage Nisho Donburi (Two-Meal Bowl) for ¥1,628. It’s a bowl topped with whitebait and sakura shrimp. It looks delicious. It also comes with fish soup. The light saltiness of the whitebait and the fragrant sakura shrimp are exquisite. It’s a luxurious bowl that lets you taste the bounty of the sea as it is. It’s also delicious with a soft-boiled egg. It was a satisfying lunch. Thank you for the meal. I took the train from Atami Station to the station closest to my inn. I got off at Usami Station. From there, I walked to my inn. It’s about a 5-minute walk from the station to my inn. This is my inn for tonight, Kaifuso. This is a small, cozy guesthouse located at 1803-13 Usami, Ito City, Shizuoka Prefecture . I wonder if a cat works the reception desk? Lol (the innkeeper checked me in) . Hello. I’ll be staying here. Another cat also greeted me! Thank you. There are many cat-related ornaments in front of the reception desk. Check-in is from 3:00 PM. Check-out is at 10:00 AM. There are two baths, each reserved for 40 minutes. Simply place a magnet with the name of your room on an available time slot on the whiteboard to complete your reservation. Bath towels can be rented for 150 yen. I was so happy to be able to interact with the cats right away. They seem to be used to people, so they don’t mind petting me for a long time. The women’s restroom is near the entrance on the first floor. The men’s restroom is also near the entrance on the first floor. The black cat is so cute. He fell asleep on a chair. That cat is staring intently at the second floor… I asked him if he wanted to come with me to my room, but he refused, so I headed straight to my room. There was a notice on the wall with instructions for interacting with the cats. It seems fragrances are strictly prohibited for cats. It’s best to be careful beforehand not to wear perfume or anything like that. Apparently, they ‘ve been featured on TV programs. The walls were covered with photos of the cats. I wonder if this inn has been featured in magazines? These are the cats who live here. Their names are Rai-kun, Kuma-chan, Hana-chan, Kou-chan, and Kinako-chan. There are men’s and women’s restrooms next to the stairs on the second floor. The restrooms are shared. They aren’t in the rooms. There’s one refrigerator in the common area. To use the refrigerator, you must write your name on your drink. There are cat photos here, too. The hallway on the second floor, where the guest rooms are located, was decorated with many cat paintings. Even the clock had a cat on it. I headed to my room. My room was “Momiji.” I unlocked the door and opened it. The room tour began. As soon as I opened the door, there was a sink. There was also a hair dryer. There was hand soap and two cups on the sink. There was a trash can under the sink. There was a towel rack in front. The room was a relaxing Japanese-style room. There were hangers so you could hang your clothes. Since there were limited outlets, an extension cord was helpful. There was a table in the center of the room. Amenities included a face towel and toothbrush with the inn’s name on it. There were TV and air conditioner remote controls. There was an electric kettle. This is a tea set. The tea bags were green tea. Tissues, a TV, and the view from the insect repellent window looked like this. The closet had a cat pattern! So cute! Bedding was stored in the closet. Pillows, sheets, and other items were also provided. Yukata robes were also provided. Dinner starts at 6:00 PM. Breakfast is at 8:00 AM. Bathing is available from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM and from 6:00 AM to 9:40 AM the next morning. Wi-Fi is available. Guests must lay out their own futons. Please note the following points regarding interacting with the cats: Feeding them is prohibited. There are other rules, so please read them carefully. Smoking is strictly prohibited throughout the building. The cost of our stay, including the boiled golden-eyed snapper plan, was 12,000 yen per person per night, or 24,000 yen for two people (prices vary depending on the plan). Our reserved private bath arrived, so we headed in. The first-floor bath was already in use by someone else. Ours was in the basement. I opened the door carefully, being careful not to let the cats escape. I closed the door securely, hoping it was safe. There was a card at the entrance indicating the bathroom was in use. Since no one was using it at the time, it was marked “vacant.” When using, flip the card over to change it to “private.” We went down the stairs to the private basement bath. We turned on the switch in our room and entered the bathroom. There was a clothes basket and face towels in the dressing room. The face towels were free to use. There was also a sink. The bathroom wasn’t large, but it was adequate for a small group. And it was a natural hot spring. There were two wash areas. Facial cleanser, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were provided. Bar soap was also available. There was a chair and a washbasin. The hot spring water felt soft. The water was amazing! I was able to relax. When I came to the lobby after my bath, Rai-kun was there. I was so happy ☺️ There were plenty of toys for cats. He wouldn’t play with me…😭 I got to see Ko-chan again. Oh, he fell asleep… Time passed, and it was almost dinner time. This was the dinner I was looking forward to. The variety and quantity of food was amazing! The chawanmushi looked delicious. This time, I chose the plan that included a whole braised golden-eyed snapper (1 piece). I think the regular plan comes with a small amount of braised golden-eyed snapper. This hot pot is steamed pork, I think? Let’s eat. There were four types of sashimi, including tuna. Since it’s near the sea, the sashimi is fresh and delicious. The portion is larger with the sashimi platter plan. I found a cat. A vegetable platter and shrimp tempura. The batter was crispy and delicious. I didn’t expect there to be so many dishes. I’m so happy. The inn had a reputation for having delicious food, and that was certainly true. Miso soup. Delicious. Is it almost ready to eat? Let’s eat the hot meat. The thing I was most looking forward to was the braised golden-eyed snapper! When you think of Izu, you think of golden-eyed snapper! It was well-cooked, so the flesh easily fell apart and was easy to remove. The flavor of the broth seeped into the plump flesh, making it incredibly delicious! It was delicious and I was so happy… The radish also soaked up the flavor well. It’s hard to catch shrimp 😅 The shrimp are plump and tender. Dinner courses include the standard course, the braised golden-eyed snapper course, the sashimi platter course, and the golden-eyed snapper shabu-shabu course. Next time I stay here, I’ll choose the sashimi platter course. The sashimi is delicious in a hot spring resort near the sea. I was full. It was a very satisfying meal. Thank you for the meal. After the meal, I was reunited with the cats in the lobby. Rai-kun was relaxing. I wanted to give him a little pat on the back and make friends with him. Oh! There was a cat a little distance from the lobby. Is that Kinako the calico over there? She ‘s grooming herself. So cute ❤️ On my way back to my room on the second floor, I looked back up the stairs and saw the cat. This inn has a lot of manga. Of course, you can read as much as you want. That was also very nice. I left the door to my room open so the cats could come and play. I laid out my futon and got ready for bed. Unfortunately, the cats didn’t come to visit my room. Good night. Good morning . I had reserved a private bath on the first floor before breakfast, so I took a bath. The changing room on the first floor is designed the same as the basement floor. There is a clothes basket. There is also a sink. I’m afraid to step on the scale… There are free face towels available. The bathroom is about the same size as the basement. There are two wash areas. Body soap, shampoo, conditioner, and facial cleanser. There’s a chair and a washbasin. There’s a duck! A blissful morning bath. We floated the duck in the bathtub and bathed together. I wonder if Rai-kun likes the reception counter? Oh, it’s Hana-chan! We finally met. She ‘s sleeping soundly. Rai-kun, isn’t that a bit cramped? Hana-chan is serving customers. Hello, Hana-chan. Rai-kun is sleeping on the counter. Lol. It’s breakfast time. Warm rice and miso soup. Let’s eat. Breakfast consisted of tamagoyaki (rolled omelet), salad, shirasu (whitebait), and grated daikon radish. Dried horse mackerel. Packed with meat. Fatty and very delicious. Dried daikon radish strips. The crispy nori seaweed went well with the rice. Kamaboko and pickled wasabi, a Shizuoka specialty. The breakfast portion was just right. For dessert, we had yogurt. Coffee was self-service. Breakfast was delicious, too. Thank you for the meal. I petted Rai again. Does it feel good? I wonder if he’ll play with the fish toy? No… What about this toy? He didn’t seem interested… Kou seemed to want me to leave him alone… I wonder if Rai will play with the toy? I thought he would! But then he ran away… I showed him the toy again, and this time Rai played with it for a long time. He was really into it. There was just under an hour left until check-out. Oh, Kuma-chan came out. It took a while to see him, but finally, I did. Kuma-chan was drinking water. I was soothed by the five cats at this inn. It was fun. Thank you, cats, for showing me your adorable side. I checked out of the inn. The hot springs were great, and the food was delicious. I’d love to see the cats again. I walked about five minutes from the inn to the beach. I took a leisurely stroll along the beach for a while. I arrived at Usami Station. From there, I took the train to Atami. From Atami, I took the Shinkansen to Tokyo. We arrived at Tokyo Station. Our fun trip has come to an end. Thank you for watching until the end. If you liked the video, please subscribe to the channel and rate it highly.
