Japan Kanagawa 4K Walking Tour
Walking along the valley of Isehara Current location: Isehara City, Kanagawa Prefecture I saw a godly looking minicar so I couldn’t help taking a photo We are currently descending to the foot of the mountain after visiting Hyuga Yakushi Shrine. Your subscription is the beginning of a journey. Let’s go to a new view. There are bears around here. I googled it and found that one was spotted about a month ago. Should I have brought a bear bell or something? If there was an old man around, I would use him as a decoy and quickly escape, but if I was alone… The beautiful, ripe rice ears It’s a weekday, but there are children there. I wonder if it’s a correspondence course? Apparently, about 10% of high school students today are attending correspondence courses. On the left is the Hyuga River Once you cross the bridge, you’ll come to a place called Hikagemichi. I think I’ll take that path on my way back. I wonder if it’s become a valley. Wild monkeys also seem to appear. It’s terraced rice fields. It looks like an electric fence, but I wonder. Is it fake? Is it real? Apparently, it tingles when you touch it. Like static electricity? The tower is in sight. It’s beautiful. The electric poles and wires are in the way. We have arrived at Johotsuganji Temple. It’s a three-story tower. (Tradition) Heading to the tomb of Prince Otomo. In the year 672, Prince Otomo was defeated by Prince Oama in the Jinshin War and committed suicide. There are about nine tombs across the country, and all of them are suspicious. There is no way that they would build a tomb deep in the mountains of Isehara when they lost the battle in Otsu City. I’m being attacked by a huge swarm of mosquitoes. I’m wearing thin arm covers, but they keep landing on my hands. I also needed gloves. And these arm covers. They’re so thin that mosquitoes’ prongs can penetrate them. I got bitten. We have arrived. (Traditional) This is the tomb of Prince Otomo. Oh dear. It’s been replaced with a replica. The end of the Kamakura period was about 600 years after the Jinshin War. It would be like building a grave for someone who died around 1400 AD today. Except for the replica stupa, most of the items are probably from 700 years ago, at the end of the Kamakura period. That’s all for today. Thank you for watching. Please subscribe to our channel.
