Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station Walk & Coin Lockers (October 2025) Japan

I’m in Tenjin , Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City. This video shows the area around Nishitetsu Tenjin Station and the location of coin lockers. The chapters are listed in the description, so please refer to that as well. On the left is PARCO. North side. Looking this way, ONE FUKUOKA BLDG. The coin lockers are just around the corner, near PARCO. A little north from the ticket gate. Turn left here and you’ll find the cash-only lockers. Don’t forget to bring coins with you. Small lockers are 400 yen. Suitcase-sized lockers are 800 yen. These are coin lockers right next to Nishitetsu Travel. The Nishitetsu ticket gate is on the other side. There are a decent number of lockers, so the cash-only lockers are usually empty. There’s another one nearby. (Fast forward) (Fast forward) I think this one also only accepts cash. However, there’s a currency exchange machine right in front of it . This is nice and convenient. There are a lot of lockers. They come in a variety of sizes. There are also mid-sized lockers for 600 yen. There are quite a few coin lockers, so this place looks pretty convenient. They’re arranged in three vertical rows, with lockers of various sizes. There are coin lockers here, so please feel free to use them. Now, let’s move on to the next location. There are more on the first floor, but first, I’ll go near the ticket gates on the second floor. By the way, if you go left there, you can go down to the Tenjin Underground Mall and the Subway Airport Line. (Going down twice) This is near the second-floor ticket gates of Nishitetsu Fukuoka (Tenjin) Station. This is the best place, the main entrance /exit for Nishitetsu . (Fast forward) There are also coin lockers fairly close to the ticket gates here . There are coin lockers in quite a few places, so there are a lot of them. Let’s go to the second floor for now. (Fast forward) There are also coin lockers on the second floor and on the third floor, near the bus terminal. Maybe I’ll split the video into parts and edit them together later. This is the starting point of the Nishitetsu Tenjin-Omuta Line. Of course, it’s the busiest station on the Nishitetsu line. The number of passengers per day in 2023 was 117,918. That’s impressive. As the name suggests, the line goes all the way to Omuta City , the southernmost city in Fukuoka Prefecture . It borders Arao City in Kumamoto Prefecture . It’s a line that goes quite far south. It’s a major private railway in western Japan. (Fast forward) There are services to Ogori City. There are also services to Yanagawa City. The coin lockers are over here → Exit the ticket gate and go left. The coin lockers near the ticket gate. This one accepts transportation IC cards. Prices may change in the future. And there are more up ahead. ← There’s also a ticket gate here. There’s also a sign indicating the coin lockers. Near the corridor connecting to Solaria Coralza. There are coin lockers here. Cash only. There are even more up ahead . The number and sizes vary a bit . The largest locker is 1,000 yen. Cash only. Don’t forget to bring coins. By the way, there’s one more locker further ahead. It’s a little tucked away, so it might actually be a hidden gem. It might be easy to find something. It looks like this. There are still coin lockers on the second floor, but the express bus arrival platform is nearby, so let’s go check out the lockers on the third floor. (It’s a long way to the next locker, so I recommend skipping.) It’s on the opposite side of the Nishitetsu express bus stop. There are coin lockers on the bus stop side, too. (Fast forward) (Fast forward) The ones in front of the toilets at the bus stop have been removed. There’s one in the arrival lobby. These coin lockers might be useful for people traveling to Fukuoka from elsewhere. Anyway, they’re near the toilets here. (Huh…?) (What …?) It suddenly got cooler when I got here. (But there are no lockers…?) Hey, weren’t there lockers around here? It looks like the coin lockers here were removed. Another vending machine has been added. Sorry. It’s been a while since I’ve been around here. The coin locker sign is there, though. (Enjoying the atmosphere of the Nishitetsu Tenjin Expressway Bus Terminal for a while) There should be one more locker. Anyway, I arrived at the arrival lobby. (Fast forward) It was right near the ATM. Cash only here too. The price was about the same as the others. The small size was 400 yen. Many lockers in Fukuoka City still cost 400 yen. In Osaka, this size is already 500 yen. You can still store luggage in Fukuoka City for 400 yen. Expressway bus stop ↑ I might have missed some coin locker locations. If so, please let me know in the comments. For now, I’ll show you all the places I know . (It’s a long way to the next locker, so I recommend skipping.) (Fast forward) I wonder if there are people transferring at this Nishitetsu bus terminal to other cities in Kyushu. Maybe there are cities that don’t have direct buses ? Is there anywhere? Maybe there are routes to Miyazaki and other major Kyushu cities that don’t have direct buses. Turn here. Turn again → By the way, you can also take the escalator up here . If you turn up this way, you’ll be at the bus stop, so let’s take a look at this side too. Take the escalator in front of the big screen and you’ll come out here. There’s still the last bus, so I imagine there will be passengers, but what do you think? (Fast forward) (Fast forward) The coin lockers are nearby. They’re in a conspicuous location. Once you’ve put your luggage in, operate the touch panel. They’re convenient lockers that can be used with a variety of cashless services. You can use QUICPay, PayPay, merpay, and more. There seem to be quite a few of them. You can use cashless payments, but… You remove the key and keep it with you. The price is the same here. I really love looking at the locations of these coin lockers. This video is a hobby. (It’s a long way to the next locker, so I recommend skipping.) That’s the waiting room. It’s very clean. However, you can’t get in at this time. Platform 6. The ticket counters and other facilities are closed for the day. I also filmed another video of this area, so please check that out. There are no buses at Platform 5. Take the elevator, then go down to the first floor again and walk, but there are only a few coin lockers left. There are a few more on the first and second floors. There’s a coin locker right near the ticket gate there. Looking back, you can see Fukuoka City Hall over there. Around here , where you can see Daimaru and other stores. There’s a coin locker right near here. There’s a sign there. You can get there from this ticket gate (fast forward) . There are a lot of lockers. It’s 1,200 yen. It’s huge. It’s about chest-high. Open from the first train to the last train. Nishitetsu’s last train runs quite early, so be careful, as it finishes before midnight. Be sure to drop off your luggage early. (It’s a long walk to the next locker, so I recommend skipping.) (Fast Forward) By the way, there’s a food stall selling Fukuoka specialties over there. It has a nice atmosphere. Mitsukoshi is the terminal department store. This area may not be particularly related to coin lockers, but I love walking through these casual station corridors. I upload lots of videos like this, so please subscribe and like my channel. Fukuoka Mitsukoshi Lion Plaza. There are sofas for relaxing, but it closes around 1 AM. Let’s go up from there. (Fast Forward) This video is getting long. It’s near the coin locker from earlier. Exit the ticket gate there and go straight. There are more lockers. I walk around the side instead of going down the stairs. (Fast Forward) There aren’t many lockers, so this one will probably fill up quickly. Cash only. This is the charging spot (rental mobile battery). Next is the last locker, so I recommend skipping there. These days, you can even rent Wi-Fi. It’s amazing how many things you can rent now. (Fast forward) Just remember that it’s right next to the ATM area. Looking to the left, I saw coin lockers. There are a fair number of them here. They even accept IC cards. There are also coin lockers that only accept cash. I wonder if they’re near the currency exchange? If not, you can buy a drink from a vending machine like this and deposit your change . It’s right in front of the entrance to Parco. This is the last coin locker in this video. This video is a bit long, but I ‘m showing you the locations of the coin lockers, so it’s a bit of a bonus . I’m documenting the station and the surrounding cityscape, so if you like this kind of thing, please subscribe. I think this is a great channel for people who enjoy walking around town .
