シンガポール女ひとり旅🇸🇬マリーナベイサンズに無料宿泊!? 4泊5日カジノ旅の結末|F1ウィーク【海外旅Vlog】
Late September 2025
I’m heading to Singapore My main trip is to Malaysia, but I decided to visit Singapore briefly beforehand I went to Singapore last year too, but this time it’s a free-and-easy solo trip. I bought one-way tickets: outbound to Singapore and return from Kuala Lumpur. From the right-side seat, I could see Mount Fuji. I ate the in-flight meal and passed the time reading a book. The purpose of this trip is to cross the Malay Peninsula, a dream of mine.
It’s to visit the locations from the novel “Midnight Express” I read during my university days. I rewatched the drama adaptation too, so I’m feeling excited. Arrived in Singapore after a 7-hour flight.
My 4-night, 5-day solo trip begins! First, heading to immigration. Singapore requires registration for the digital arrival card starting 3 days before entry. (If you forgot, you need to register at the red circle area.) Scan your passport at the machine, get your photo taken, and it’s done in a minute. We’ve arrived in Singapore~ This is my second time coming to Singapore. This time, I want to try taking the train into the city for the first time. The MRT is convenient because you can pay with a credit card. I use my Wise card because it has low fees. I want to go to Bayfront where Marina Bay Sands is, so first I’ll take the Green Line to Expo. Next, I’ll transfer to the Blue Line.
The signage is clear and very helpful. From here, it’s easy since it’s a direct ride. The station connects directly to Marina Bay Sands.
I’ll enter through Exit C. I stayed here last year and had a wonderful time, so I’m staying at Marina Bay Sands again this time. It’s a room on the 12th floor of Tower 1. This time it’s a garden view on a lower floor.
The balcony has chairs, which is lovely. The bathroom is sparkling clean. The amenities are perfectly stocked, leaving nothing to be desired. I’ll be staying in this room for one night. Located right on the equator, Singapore is hot and humid year-round.
Opening the window lets in a wave of muggy air. Last year, Singapore became my favorite country in Asia because wherever you walk, it’s clean and the green scenery with plants is beautiful. Last year’s high-floor Paiza Suite was the ultimate room, but the low-floor garden-side room is also very nice. The little touches of hospitality are delightful. It’s such a wonderful place, it feels almost wasteful to stay here alone. Well, I think I’ll head over to the food court for a bite to eat now. Alright, I think I’ll head over to the shop building to grab some food. The Digital Light Canvas is super popular with the kids. I came to the food court but can’t find anything I want to eat…
Before that, it’s too crowded and there are no seats available! I came to Ippudo next door. The Shiro Maru is $18 (about ¥2,070).
More than double the price in Japan Can’t help it with the yen being weak… Let’s eat Order at your seat using a QR code
The taste is the same as Ippudo in Japan and delicious~♩ The turnover is fast, and it’s easy to come alone, which is great
I’m starving, so I’ll add an extra serving of noodles Came to the waterfront to catch some breeze The daily show “SPECTRA”
I was so moved the first time I saw it, so I wanted to see it at least once this time too A truly spectacular 15 minutes.
It’s a truly wonderful show you can enjoy for free. After the show ends, Marina Bay Sands gets incredibly crowded, like a fireworks festival. I rushed back to see the Gardens by the Bay show from my room. The lower floors on the garden side were absolutely prime seats. It’s no exaggeration to say I came to Singapore for this.
Showing my passport and visitor pass, I’m off. First day at the casino. I won~♩ Looks like I’ll sleep soundly tonight~
Good night. Checked out and stored my luggage Today I’m going to Sentosa Island, which I couldn’t visit last year Looks like they’re building another Marina Bay Sands tower over here too. Since we covered most of the major tourist spots last year, this time we plan to take it easy and just wander wherever we feel like. We’re having brunch at a place I checked out before heading to Sentosa Island. We took Grab to HarbourFront station. I want to eat at VivoCity, which is here. This place has so many stores too.
Honestly, Asian shopping malls… Japan might be the weakest link here—it’s packed with people. You can really feel the yen weakening. Every time I travel in Asia, I’m amazed by how wonderfully developed it is now. The complimentary appetizer? They brought boiled beans and something like fried fish skin. The ginger chicken I was aiming for. I’ll enjoy it with plenty of ginger sauce. Let’s eat~♩ Mmm~ ♡ Delicious The chicken is super tender and pairs perfectly with the refreshing ginger sauce~♡ It’s incredibly delicious! We also ordered chicken rice It comes with black sauce (sweet) and ginger sauce (refreshing) It’s definitely tastier than hawker food!
Highly recommended. The portion is pretty big, so maybe just the ginger chicken would’ve been enough.
I was too full to finish everything. Huh? The cable car is stopped…? Checked and found out today is cable car maintenance day, so we’re taking the train to Sentosa Island. It’s so lively here~ LABUBU seems popular in Singapore too DAISO is packed with people
Super crowded! Singapore’s trains are so convenient since you just tap your card to ride Pay this initial $4 and you get unlimited rides around the island all day It’s packed with attractions like Universal Studios, casinos, aquariums, pools, and hotels. Oh, cute~ Ice cream
Ice cream ceiling Huh~ That’s amazing~
The pop vibe makes me excited ♩ It’s packed with young people, just like you’d expect from a popular spot. This is what I came for (lol). There was also a facility where you could immerse yourself in the world of Harry Potter. So, I think I’ll head to the casino. Viewers recommended it, so I was absolutely determined to go to Sentosa Casino this time. About two hours later… Sentosa Casino Won $480♩ Wow~ I’m on a roll~♩ Sentosa Casino had a quiet vibe Alright, heading back to the hotel for now The train line is crazy long, so we’ll take a Grab back. Wow, so many people… Maybe we should swing by here. This is the newly developed area, right? It’s an experiential promenade blending nature and cutting-edge technology, featuring six sensory gardens spanning 350 meters in total. So cool~ This is cool I hear this area gets lit up at night and you can enjoy projection mapping Beautiful Peranakan design The world of nighttime digital art looks amazing It’s less crowded during the day and you can see nature in its natural form, so both times have their merits A cool-looking waterfall-like sculpture Even just strolling around, it was a very soothing space This station isn’t too crowded, so I’ll take the train back The trains might be this crowded because the cable car is under maintenance. I’m back at that shopping center from earlier.
Wow, it’s packed… Alright, I’ll grab a Grab back to the hotel now. I have plans with a friend and a restaurant reservation starting at 6:15 PM, so I’m rushing back. And then a miracle happened. Somehow, under the “Offers” section on my casino card, a free stay bonus popped up. So I thought, “Wait, does this mean two free nights?” and tapped the free stay bonus section. it said “This offer has already been used.” But when I requested it just now, What the hell?! I seriously got two free nights at Marina Bay Sands! How is that even possible!? I’m way too lucky! It’s a lower floor, but Marina Bay Sands is over 100,000 yen per night right now, so this is super lucky! (The cheapest room at today’s rate is 310,000 yen for 2 nights) So, I had another hotel booked for today,
but since I could cancel that one for free, I canceled it and decided to stay at Marina Bay Sands for two more nights.
Lucky♩ Who knew this could happen! Better to have the card ready! Lucky me! (See last year’s vlog for how to get one) It’s a room on the 6th floor of Tower 3. Amazing view with Gardens by the Bay right at eye level. Just a really nice room The amenities and bathroom are exactly the same as yesterday This chocolate is the best Staying alone for two nights for free…
What a luxury Dinner tonight with a friend who lives in Singapore Mott32 in Hong Kong was so delicious I booked this place a month ago Peking duck is so popular it’s hard to get
Since it was the last one, I ordered it without hesitation So happy I got to eat it since I missed out in Hong Kong ♩ The process of making the sauce was like watching a work of art. We got so caught up in conversation while rolling the Peking duck that we lost track of time. Absolutely exquisite ♡ Everything we ate was mind-blowingly delicious
I love this place so much I want to conquer every Mott32 in the world The time flew by with delicious food and drinks. They kindly wrapped up the leftovers for us. TWG is cheapest in Singapore
I want to buy the same things I bought last year that I was glad I got Last year I bought two candles and they smelled amazing, so this time I’ll buy one in a different scent as a souvenir All the tea leaves smell wonderful, so I always struggle to choose I bought the iced tea set I loved last year, plus Earl Grey and candles. Reuniting with friends abroad was deeply moving. The highlight of tonight was when we both agreed, “This is the most fun time of our lives, right?” Promised to meet again and headed back to the room. And starting today, it’s F1 Week in Singapore! F1 is so cool~ Alright, off to the casino for the night session. I won during the day! Well, I decided I’d only play within the amount I won during the day. I think I’ll head home a bit early today. It’s 1:30 AM now. I lost. (Even though I said I’d only play with the profits from winning during the day) I’ll try harder again tomorrow and beyond. Well then, I think I’ll head back to my free room. Speaking of which, the casino had food today—popcorn and plus chocolate chip cookies from the cafe downstairs in Marina Bay Sands. These were insanely delicious. All drinks are free, so you can get things like café lattes, honey lemon drinks, hot tea, anything you want. Drinks are free, all-you-can-drink,
but having food available was a first for me. Lucky me.
This was seriously delicious. Maybe yesterday’s beer caught up with me—my stomach hurt and I couldn’t sleep well. My acid reflux might be back… My stomach hurts, so I’ll take it easy today.
I want to go for a walk at Gardens by the Bay too. I’ll transfer at the 34th floor and head to the pool. Tower 3 really is prettier, isn’t it? I’ll head to the SkyPark a bit further ahead. Taking the guest-only elevator down to the 56th floor. I didn’t come to this Sky Park last time, but since guests can come here for free, I decided to check it out. Preparations for the F1 race are steadily underway. It’s the best spot to enjoy a 360° view of Singapore’s beautiful scenery. Alright, let’s head to the pool.
It’s pretty hot out here~ The tip is closer to the sun. But even if you’re not staying here, you can buy a ticket to go to that place we just saw. And if you’re a Rakuten member or something like a Platinum member? Then
you can get a free ticket to go up to the top. Check out last year’s Vlog for details~ Wow, it’s so empty today. Probably because no one’s checking in during the day, so it’s quiet. Maybe it’s a perk for people staying multiple nights. Yeah, that’s right. Everyone here is staying multiple nights. I can’t believe I get to stay here for free for two nights… Heaven! The best location overlooking Singapore’s skyscrapers This infinity pool really is worth staying for Everyone’s heading upstairs now because they said to retreat since thunder’s coming Looks like we’ll be waiting a while, so I’ll head up for now I’ll take a shower and rest in the room. I think I’ll head over to Gardens by the Bay. I went last time too, but I want to take a little walk. Wow, something huge is being built. In the video from when I came to Singapore last year, I explained how easy it is to get from Marina Bay Sands to Gardens by the Bay. I explained that in last year’s video, so I hope you can check that out. Looks like they’re doing construction again now, and there’s this huge plant mural right in the middle~ When you think of Singapore, you think of this futuristic botanical garden. It’s famous for its two greenhouse domes, but just walking around here is soothing with all the greenery. The artificial Supertrees look straight out of the world of Avatar. I haven’t eaten anything today, so maybe I’ll grab something to eat. Just then, the dinosaur started moving! This food court gathers renowned restaurants that have earned Michelin stars. Ordering from the world’s first hawker stall to earn a Michelin star. Among the options, this seemed like the mildest choice. My stomach’s a bit sore…
Probably won’t be able to finish everything. But I’d like to get a little something in my stomach. It’s delicious. Personally, I think the chicken rice I had at Lao Pa Sat last year was way better. Even inside the food court, dinosaurs greet you. My stomach hurt so much I couldn’t even finish half of it… Heading to OCBC Skyway. Looks like there’s a 15-minute time limit A 128-meter-long skywalk at a height of 22 meters above ground
Offers a bird’s-eye view of Gardens by the Bay Enjoyed the scenery from a different perspective than looking up from below It was a wonderful experience with a bit of thrill
If you come during showtime, you might see a different view So many bear sculptures! After getting off, let’s head over there next Bears representing countries around the world holding hands in a circle
The United Buddy Bears exhibition was being held The Japanese bear was too simple The Spanish bear was gorgeous with its Gaudi-inspired trencadís mosaic After the lights came on, a fantastical space unfolded It gets super crowded during the show, so I’ll head back before it starts Hey, my stomach’s really hurting, so I ordered Grab Food. Looks like it arrived pretty quickly, so
I’ll go pick it up. The Grab pickup spot on the Tower 3 side is where you leave your bags. I’ll pick it up and eat in my room. It’s really great that we live in an era where you can get anything delivered. Inari sushi and… Whoa, it’s huge!
Wow, this is amazing. This udon has the noodles and broth separate. Oh~ I’m so grateful.
I wanted something gentle to eat, so this is perfect. It looks incredibly delicious, proper udon. Ordered today’s meal via Grab Food I’m dealing with reflux esophagitis right now I was looking for something stomach-friendly nearby
But couldn’t find much… So I ordered udon through Grab. It looks exactly like Japanese udon. I went with wakame udon.
Let’s eat~ Mmm~ ♡ This is seriously Japanese udon! The real deal. Rather than taking a Grab there, eating, and coming back again… If you’re alone, it’s easier to just order something and eat it at the hotel. Singapore is packed everywhere, and at this time of night, you can’t get into a normal restaurant without a reservation. For people who just want to eat quickly and move on somewhere else, I think going to a hawker center is definitely the way to go.
Hawker centers are cheap, and you can easily try Singaporean food. Well, hawker centers are easy to go to alone too~ When I go with someone, I eat at proper restaurants, When I’m alone, I honestly don’t care at all. So delivery is great! Alright, I ate, so I’ll take my medicine. My hair’s a bit messy, so
I’ll tie it up first. Then I’d like to go to the casino~
It’s right downstairs, you see. Yeah, well, I’ll think about when to stop.
Today… I’ll only take
$500 with me. And if I lose that, I’ll just come right back. Alright then, off to the casino I go~ I completely forgot it was showtime. The lower floors on the garden side might really be the best for watching the show after all. I’ll watch the show and then head out Oh! Damn…
I came in sandals. Will these get me in…?
I came in Birkenstock sandals… If they don’t, I’ll go back to my room. So, off to the casino I go. Huh? It’s 1:50. Won a decent amount today Probably got back everything I lost yesterday? Something like that They let me in even in sandals Today’s food was snacks like these Plus the chocolate chip cookies I got yesterday too, they were super tasty And ham sandwiches were also part of the food, right?
Got them for free. Today is our last day at Marina Bay Sands.
Staying here for two nights for free was truly amazing. I want to enjoy the room to the very end. This thing is so stylish, there aren’t any buttons anywhere. I wondered how to use it? Fill it with water. Surprisingly, you press this down here.
Then The lights turn on. It’s so stylish I couldn’t figure out how to use it.
I finally got it. While the bathtub fills, I brew TWG tea. A book about Singapore’s colonial architecture found in the room. It was so beautiful I gazed at it for a while. And then the October and November two-night free offer arrived again. Maybe I’ll come back to Singapore to stay at Marina Bay Sands. I’m really glad I got the card last year. Changing hotels today. Brewing TWG tea and getting ready at a leisurely pace. It was the best free stay ever~
I thoroughly enjoyed it♩ Forgotten items… nope, nothing. Alright! Checking into the next hotel. The elevator here is super close too, which was great Express checkout is here, so
I’ll insert my card here All set Turns out the roads are closed for the F1 race, so I can’t call a Grab. Walking it then. Crossing this bridge called Helix Bridge. The view from this bridge was absolutely stunning You can see the Merlion too But my joy at the view was short-lived.
Little did I know the hellish F1 road closures awaited from here… Due to road closures, people could only cross via temporary footbridges.
Hellishly climbing stairs up and down with a 20kg carry-on case. Finally reached the hotel front, but the entrance is barricaded and we can’t get in… We weren’t told we’d have to walk this much under a blazing 30°C sun… The traffic restrictions are so extreme
we just can’t seem to get there This route normally takes less than 10 minutes, but I’ve been walking for 40 minutes already… carrying this luggage. Hell I’m sweating so much I don’t even want to go out today
My T-shirt is soaked through… Suddenly, I’m in heaven. Since we’re traveling as a pair starting tomorrow, I decided to meet up with my partner tonight and stay at the Ritz. A Marina View room overlooking Singapore’s cityscape.
The breathtaking view is enough to make you sigh. All the amenities are Diptyque.
They even have bath salts. I’m sweating too much and want to take a shower soon… I want to go eat something. Memorial Park, where I came last year too.
I want to pass through here a bit. No way~ This is taking forever…
(The center is covered in restricted zones) F1 everywhere you look Arrived at PS Cafe, a popular spot in Singapore with super stylish decor Ordered an iced latte and fish risotto The fish is so fluffy
It’s incredibly delicious Feels like I’m finally having a proper meal in Singapore My stomach’s settled a bit now,
so I want to try the rest of the dishes. This place is seriously delicious ♡ Even looking at Google Maps, every PS Cafe location has amazing reviews. Highly recommended! The atmosphere was great and it was truly delicious. I’ll stroll around town a bit. It’s hot, so I head to the other side of the street while ducking into buildings. Ah! That’s it! The place I kinda wanted to see was the police station.
That colorful building. The former police station built in 1934.
Its rainbow-colored windows are a beautiful design. Passing under the bridge. An area where you can enjoy the riverside scenery
It’s the boarding point for river cruises The colorful exterior is cute ♩
At night, a beautiful, illuminated landscape spreads out Maybe because it was daytime, or maybe because the F1 was happening, there weren’t many people around Walking towards Fort Canning station It’s getting pretty hot and exhausting (34°C),
and with the F1, the city center seems to have quite a few traffic restrictions. I think I’ll take the MRT to Marina Bay Sands. Ah, this is Fort Canning station. Singapore is hot, you know? It’s tough to stay outside the whole time. I keep ducking inside here and there to cool off. But today… I’ve already walked about 4km by now,
and it’s scorching hot. So today, I’ll just head straight to Marina Bay Sands, use my accumulated Sands Points to buy something, and cool off at the casino. This far
I’ll go to Bayfront I use a Wise debit card for overseas payments. The exchange rate is by far the best, and there are no overseas transaction fees, so I highly recommend it. With Singapore MRT, Mastercard payments are batch processed every 5 days. It’s the 4th day, but only the initial deposit of 0.10 (¥13) has been deducted so far. Card issuance costs ¥1,200, but it’s free if you get invited. If no one around you has one, use the link in the description. CHANEL promotion is amazing—so cute♡ Oh, the fountain just started. I have points worth $46.61 (¥5,360) earned from dining and shopping at Marina Bay Sands, so I’ll use them for shopping. Purchased a top from alo, a yoga wear brand not yet available in Japan.
Couldn’t use the points… The website said Sands Points could be used here,
but they said I could earn points but not use them… A brand offering fragrant body care products and home fragrances. This store also hasn’t launched in Japan. Seems like a good souvenir too. I’m crazy about candles, so even though they’re heavy, I’ll use my points here. Bought candles!
It’s one of those deals where you buy two and get two free. They’re a bit heavy, but I’ll do my best to carry them back. So, I spent about $50 in resort dollars~ Last stop, the casino~ I’ll also use $96 worth of casino points (¥11,040). Today’s results are… Singapore Casino
The total result is… All’s well that ends well. Heading back. Are we climbing this again? It’s really amazing they race right in the city center Wow~ So cool Okay, we’re back Just one night at the Ritz-Carlton. I’ll be heading out early tomorrow morning since I’m going to Malaysia. I want to enjoy the Ritz to the fullest for my last night. Having a dedicated Japanese-speaking desk is reassuring Singapore’s nightscape, bathed in red, was more spectacular than ever The breakfast buffet at The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore
is said to be “the world’s best breakfast.” I’d heard the rumors, but it was truly incredible.
Without a doubt, the most extensive breakfast spread I’ve ever seen. And this is only about a third of it lol A multitude of international cuisines
Just looking at it made me feel full The variety of halal dishes is also incredible I couldn’t photograph everything, but the breads, noodles, and desserts were also incredible. Many items are made right in front of you. I requested toast with prosciutto, salmon, and avocado. The dragon fruit smoothie was absolutely exquisite. This is undoubtedly the world’s best breakfast. We only stayed at the Ritz for one night,
but it was amazing. This incredible Marina Bay view
The Marina Bay Sands view was beautiful Starting today, we’re heading to Malaysia Thank you~ Thank you for watching until the end
