【大阪観光】定番グルメに新スポット・歴史まで大満喫😆 道頓堀/梅田/淀屋橋|Japan vlog
Osaka, the city of gourmet food. New areas and historic locations. Delicious and fun. 2days in Osaka. Hi from JR Kokura Station (Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture).
This is Nico. 😇 So, the start of my three-day, two-night trip to Osaka. First, I’ll buy some food for the Shinkansen. Of course, it’s an ekiben! ♪ I decided on Tochikuken’s chicken rice, a specialty of Orio. 🥰 I’ll be boarding the Nozomi train departing at 9:16. 🚅 The main purpose of this trip is the Osaka-Kansai Expo.
(From the evening of the first and second days) In this video, I share my sightseeing and food tours of Osaka city.
(Until the evening of the second day and the third day) Please enjoy it until the very end♪ Now, all aboard!💨 As we left Hiroshima Station (one hour after boarding),
we had our ekiben (boxed lunch).🥢 This is it!♪ Chicken soup, rice cooked with secret seasonings,
and sweet and spicy chicken are incredibly delicious!🤤 This is my favorite bento since I was a child💕 We arrived at Shin-Osaka Station in about two hours and ten minutes. After dropping off our luggage at the hotel, we headed to the Expo site. Good morning!🌞 From Honmachi Station on the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line, we headed to Namba. Namba Station is two stops (about three minutes) away. From Namba Station, it’s about a seven-minute walk and
we arrived at Namba Yasaka Shrine⛩️ I’ve always wanted to visit this shrine when I go to Osaka. I suppressed my desire to see the lion hall and first paid my respects at the main hall. I got to see the lion from various angles 👀. Its mouth is a stage, where kagura, iaido, and lion dances are performed. Its large mouth swallows evil spirits and brings good fortune (and business). Ema plaques were written in various languages. There were several types of fortune-telling slips,
and the one with the fortune-telling stick was the most popular. I received a goshuin (temple seal). Namba Yasaka Shrine, with its ancient history, is said to date back to the reign of Emperor Nintoku (around the 4th century). I was grateful to be able to visit. I walked along Ebisubashi-suji toward Dotonbori. Anman (sweet bean buns) are available exclusively at the 551 Horai main store. I was told about it at the tourist information center,
but I’ve already forgotten what it was… 😅 I arrived in Dotonbori ~ 🥳 The Glico sign is as popular as ever. I was surprised to see the Don Quijote Ferris wheel,
which was stationary when I visited 7 or 8 years ago, now moving! 😂 Ah, I absolutely love this Osaka atmosphere! Just looking at the sign is so much fun! ♪ I headed to “Takoyaki Juhachiban,” which caught my eye with its red sign. I bought a ticket from the ticket machine (cash only). It moved quickly, so considering how long the line was, it didn’t take that long. “This one’s salt.” “This one’s sauce and mayonnaise.” I have a sensitive tongue, so I spent a long time “huffing and puffing.” 😂 The outside was crispy and crunchy, the inside was creamy, and incredibly delicious! 🤤 It was a new experience for me, and I loved it. Next, I went to “Takoyaki Douraku Wanaka,”
recommended by the tourist information center. It has been featured in the Michelin Guide and is known as
one of Osaka’s most iconic takoyaki restaurants. Takosen is an Osaka specialty, consisting of takoyaki sandwiched
between shrimp crackers. There are three takoyaki inside. At first, the shrimp crackers were crispy, and the takoyaki were soft and creamy. The texture gradually became more moist, making it twice as delicious! 🤤 I absolutely loved it! 👍 The takoyaki had a soft, gooey texture. It was different from their specialty, takoyaki, and each had its own unique flavor. I want to try every takoyaki restaurant in Osaka! I wanted to ride the boat, but I also wanted to ride the Ferris wheel at Don Quijote 😂 So, I went to ride the Ferris wheel, but the wait was so long I gave up… After stopping by Hozenji Yokocho,
I went to Edion and Takashimaya to buy Expo souvenirs. Then, around 3:30 PM, I left Namba and headed to the Expo site. Myaku Myaku, please wait for me! 😊 Here’s the hotel I stayed at. 1. Within a 5-minute walk from the station
2. Access to the Expo site, Shin-Osaka Station, and sightseeing without transfers I searched for a hotel with these conditions and decided on this one. I booked at the last minute, so my options were limited. Since it’s an APA Hotel, I don’t think it’s much different across the country,
but I’ll give you a quick room tour. Take a guess at how much this semi-double room cost for two people for two nights. Lol, disposable slippers are a blessing. In the drawer, there were paper cups, coffee, tea, and glasses. A hair dryer. A refrigerator. Water and rice balls purchased at a convenience store were inside. The loungewear was yukata-style. There were two outlets above the bed. No USB port. One outlet on the desk. Two bottles of water. Disinfectant and deodorizing spray. Bathroom. Washlet. Toothbrush, razor, hairbrush, hair tie, cotton swabs, cotton balls, and body towel. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap. Let’s take a look at the view outside. Perhaps because it’s in a business district, it was very quiet at night. Now, here’s the room rate. This semi-double room for two people for two nights… I think it was a lot more expensive than usual
because it was during the three-day weekend during the Expo… The location is great. Also, the illuminations along Midosuji were beautiful! ✨ Good morning!🌞 came to Yodoyabashi Station One, directly connected to Yodoyabashi Station. My destination was the Yodoyabashi Sky Terrace on the 30th floor. It’s open from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM. It’s free. Even though it was a long weekend, there weren’t many people there. Maybe it was because it had just opened, or maybe it was because it was the morning. From a height of about 150 meters above ground,
I could see the entire Osaka cityscape. I was blown away by the sight of Osaka unfolding before my eyes.✨ The Sky Terrace was outdoors, and it was extremely hot that day. Isn’t it so generous to be able to enjoy such a wonderful view for free? Like Hakata Hanamaru, I couldn’t help but think of local things.😂 Its a shame the cafe hadn’t opened yet.🥺 Next time, I’d like to come back to see the night view.✨ The building itself is scheduled to open in June 2025,
with various stores opening sequentially. I was curious about the shops in the basement, so I stopped by. It was a dorayaki specialty shop. This shop brings together products from two shops in the Ohagi specialty store chain. I didn’t realize there were two shops inside at the time! 😅 This was incredibly delicious! The dorayaki had a moist texture and a moderate sweetness. The bean paste wasn’t quite to my taste, so I’d like to try something different. Crossing Yodoyabashi Bridge. Both the bridge and the river are charming and beautiful. It’s designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan. The Yodoyabashi Sky Terrace, which I’d just climbed, is incredibly tall! The building I saw from the Sky Terrace was a library. It looked like something out of an American TV drama. Both the exterior and interior evoke the atmosphere of when it opened in 1904 (Meiji 37). It’s nice to have a cafe in such a beautiful building. The building next door is also a National Important Cultural Property
and is currently used as an event venue. I arrived at Osaka Station. Actually, after arriving at Umeda Station and wandering around, I ended up at Osaka Station 😂. I’m having lunch at Baltica 03. This mall is home to 50 restaurants and bars,
primarily targeting older men (03) working in Umeda. Craving kushikatsu, I decided on this place on the 5th floor! They all looked delicious, so I couldn’t decide,
so I started off by ordering the seven-skewers platter. Depending on the type, you can add a special sauce, dashi soy sauce, or ponzu sauce. They were deep-fried to perfection and not at all oily,
and everything was incredibly delicious! 🥳 The broccoli, in particular, was incredibly delicious. The second batch arrived (I can’t remember what it was! 💦) and then the third. Cutlet, mochi, asparagus, apple. By this time, I had a perfect idea of what to top each with. 👍 Everything was so delicious, I couldn’t eat enough. lol Finally, I had apples with cinnamon for dessert. 🍎 The total, including drinks, was about 4,000 yen. This is the Shichifukujin I visited. It was so good. I was heading to Umekita Green Place, which opened in March. It’s a three-story building with 20 restaurants. The open-air space offers a great view and is very pleasant. The atmosphere, combined with the greenery of the park, was lovely. 🥰 As I was walking around, I discovered a stylish food court. This is Time Out Market Osaka, located inside Green Grass Osaka. Time Out Market has branches around the world, and this is its first location in Asia. It’s filled with popular restaurants, and every one looked delicious. The atmosphere was also great. It’s my first time back in Osaka in eight years, and I felt the vibrant energy of the new facilities opening one after another. I picked up my luggage at the hotel and headed to Shin-Osaka Station. Due to heavy rains in Hiroshima, there were delays and the station was packed with people. It was difficult to walk or find a seat, so I headed to Noren Meguri
to grab a bite to eat before heading home. After waiting for a while, a seat opened up, and we decided to have negiyaki. We both ordered negiyaki, but the portions were so large that one person might have preferred Kushikatsu Daruma or Kukuru’s Takoyaki. “Somehow” is the phrase used when I can’t remember the name of something until the very end. 🤣 Finally, we were leaving Osaka, where we’d had such a delicious and fun time. The Shinkansen arrived 30 minutes late.
(The train to Tokyo was over an hour late…) I knew the Expo would be crowded, but I didn’t expect
Osaka city and the station to be as crowded as the Expo. I bought a charcoal-grilled beef rib bowl (1,280 yen) at Shin-Osaka Station I was too full to eat it on the Shinkansen, so I ate it at home. I don’t really remember the charcoal-grilled flavor,
but the meat was tender and delicious. 😋 We saw off the Miyaku Myaku Shinkansen at Kokura Station. Thank you, Osaka. It was so much fun! 🥰 Thank you to everyone who watched until the end. See you in the next video. Bye for now😉
