In the heart of Fukuoka’s night, a small yatai called Karasu Tengu serves one of the most flavorful ramen bowls in Japan.
For years, Mr. Okamura has grilled, stirred, and poured his soul into every dish — until one summer, the unbearable heat almost ended it all.

But with his wife Aki by his side, he stood up again.
Their love, their flavors, and their spirit continue to light up the streets of Hakata.
